A must go when in Montgomery unique a real sack lunch nothing fancy. Sandwich, chips, pickle, Apple and a cookie. What else could you want in a sack lunch. They have many sandwiches to choose from including fried baloney!

Good prices, solid food with a lot of variety and quick. Busy at the office, call ahead and they will have it ready for you. A bit of a hole-in-the-wall but what would you expect of a place called Mama's Sack Lunches? HINT: Try the pasta salads!

I love this place! Its great to pop in and pick up something when i'm on the way to a meeting or want something healthy to eat back at the office. There's nothing fancy about Mama's - it's just a reliable lunch option that I wouldn't trade for the world. I am particularly fond of the California Club (no sprouts) and their broccoli and ham salad. I'm anxious to try their gyro as I haven't been able to find a decent one in Montgomery yet.

I have to say I liked it. And though I'm not especially impressed by anything extraordinary, I would eat there again. It has a little seating area (I took mine to-go, however). I believe it would serve well for a quick downtown lunch. Apparently you can call and order ahead. I resent that there is a tip jar at the cash register when I simply was served at the counter. And yet I felt obligated to put a dollar in. Freakin tip jar! ;p The prep/cook lady (is that 'Mama'!?) does deserve a tip, though, because she saw us waiting and asked us directly what we wanted to hurry things along. I think I went in at noon and was out in 15min. Not bad for a lunch rush! So thanks, Mama! You made it nice with your smile. Make sure you take $1 out of the jar for yourself.

I've been visiting this place for years! I love the turkey cracker roll and the side dishes they offer! Not to expensive and a great place for lunch! Located in a good downtown area, by all of the local businesses! I'll be back again and recommend the turkey cracker roll to any new customers!

Not only did my cracker roll come with a Hersey Kiss but they guy at the counter was super friendly to everyone who walked in. Great place to get a smile along with your lunch.

Looking for a light, wholesome lunch in downtown Montgomery? This is the place to check out. For $6 bucks, you get "sack" with a sandwich, cookie, chips, apple, pickle, and a Hershey kiss. I ordered the Gourmet Turkey Sandwich. What more can you ask for? The cashier was quite nice and they whipped up my sack very quickly.

I wanted to love it, but the chicken pasta parmesan was so salty I lost my appetite. And the TV blaring CBS's daytime talk fest was no treat.

A small sandwich shop with a lot of character! It is very homey and off the bat you can tell it's a family business, which is always good. They have a whole variety of sandwiches, from the typical to the more unusual. I personally had the fried bologna sandwich sack lunch which came with (as others said) a cookie, chips, apple, pickle, and Hershey's kiss. So much for so little money! The sandwich itself was not something I had before and I'm not sure I'll have it again, but I think it's more a matter of personal taste. However the sides, the atmosphere, and the tea (I don't know why I liked it so much, but it was amazing) all really made it for me.

This my favorite restaurant in downtown! The chicken pasta is the best.

I have eaten here periodically during lunch breaks over the past few years and the food is consistently great. I know when I order something that it will taste how I remembered it and it will be great. You order from a cashier and take a seat and it will be ready before you know it. Occasionally the employees may come off a bit abrupt but don't let it bother you....I think it's just because they are taking their job seriously.

Not many places get a 5 from me but this one definitely does! Extremely friendly service. Fast. Healthy. And I can go on. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. They have a variety of pasta salads, soups and more. They cater for large parties too! Located in Montgomery downtown, this place is like finding gold!
