Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This particular Chipotle gives heaping portions. The only concern I have is the taste of the food isn't consistent. I went one time and the corn basically blasted salt water into your mouth with every bite. During busy hours, the workers don't really seem to care about the job and their serving area gets messy as well as the way they prepare your food. I once had a lady take the corn bucket out and dump 2 heaping spoonfuls of corn & juice onto my bowl and then a ladle full of sour cream. It was gross.

Love their fresh ingredients and support of organic / non gmo ingredients! Montgomery needs more restaurants like this

Updating from 2 to 1, and here's why: "Would you like anything else on your burrito?" "Yes, sour cream please." "Sour cream and cheese." "No, that's not what I... Oh, whatever, that's fine. Just a little bit though." "Anything else?" "No, nothing else. Thank you." [puts a fistful of lettuce on it.] There is literally nothing easier in this world than to NOT do something. So I don't feel like I'm asking for a lot when I ask you to NOT put a bunch of extra stuff on my food. All he had to do was NOTHING, and I would have been happy, but he couldn't even get that right. This location is the most frustrating Chipotle I've ever been too. I never know what they are going to mess up next, but their attention to detail is zero, so you know they will mess up something.

Chicken burrito was delicious! Average to slightly above average Chipotle. The service is ok, they are a mix of friendly employees and those that are just collecting a paycheck.

Big but bored One of the largest Chipotle I've been in. It has the traditional Chipotle industrial-chic motif. The food on par with any other Chipotle restaurant. The restaurant was empty the night I went so the staff seemed pretty bored and preoccupied.

It is always good to know that there is a Chipotle nearby. When I walked into this one, I was surprised because I am used to Chiptotle having lines out the door. This one was empty on a Saturday. What stood out for me was the fact that there was no tofu :-( It's not even on the menu. When I asked the male worker with locks about the tofu, he stated that it's only "up North". Then, he asked, "Are you getting anything?" Well, damn, I hate to be rushed, so I ordered the veggie bowl and left. Although the food was good, I hate the fact that there wasn't tofu on the menu. Then again, I am not sure if the tofu would do well in Montgomery. Anyway, it is worth checking out for a quick, fresh meal.

So disappointed. Especially when I love chipotle. I asked for a chicken bowl with shredded lettuce. The chicken was cold and the worker literally gave me 4 pieces of shredded lettuce. I don't think it was unreasonable for me to ask for more but because it required the worker to go to the back and get a new batch of lettuce, she slammed the cover on the counter and sighed in disbelief. Horrible customer service! If you don't want to work there or be there then find a job elsewhere!

This place hasn't even been open a month but it's ridiculously busy! I had to dock a star because I don't think the place is managed with enough staff to handle the amount of customers going through. We had to wait at least 20 minutes just to get our food. I think if they had at least 1 more person working the food line, the speed would've picked up significantly. You can tell the inexperience of the workers by how horribly they wrap burritos. The dude the other day didn't even roll it in the proper orientation so all the food ingredients weren't available with each bite. You know what I mean? Like all the meat upon first bite, then lettuce, then salsa...etc. I'm sure he'll get it right after wrapping 1000 more burritos. I usually order a whole bunch of stuff so wrapping my orders usually requires some skills and experience. The store was also poorly bussed. I didn't recall seeing a single worker bus any of the tables or keep the beverage area clean during the dinner time that we were here. They were all furiously trying to churn out food. Again, staffing will be key during these first few months, but I won't dock an extra point just yet. Anyway, for the first Chipotle to FINALLY open up in Montgomery, this is pretty huge. They're definitely going to give Moe's a run for their money. Chipotle is better than Qdoba is better than Moe's. That's my opinion. I'm sure more will open up very very soon!

I asked for the lettuce and the server sprinkled the lettuce as if it was a decoration. Then I asked for more on it because it was very very small portion. Even he gave me a lettuce second time, still was not enough.

The food is usually amazing! But after today, I've got a question. Is my meat supposed to be medium rare or are they just trying to close down as soon as possible? I love Chipotle, but my steak never like this...not sure if I want to get the steak from this specific location anymore. The service was definitely rushed, but the staff was still courteous with me...

From 4 to 3 stars. This is by far the cheapest Chipotle I've ever visited. They are super chintzy with their portions. I had to ask 3x for a little extra rice because the guy who was helping me literally gave me 2 pieces of rice the first 2x I asked for some! They also don't appear to be in any hurry when making the orders (as evidenced by their long lines). New or not, they need additional training to expedite orders. To sum it all up, I've been to better Chipotle's than this one.

If you are depressed look no further for a cure. I want to hold the burrito to my mouth and have the staff walk to me in a line and punch it down my throat. It is that good.

Tastier, (if done right) healthier, and more expensive than Taco Bell. Very good place. Again, my disclaimer, 3 things: Atmosphere, service and food. Starting with the food- damn good. I want this, not that, this this that not that and this, in this with that with this on the side. Done. Very good! With vegetarian and healthier options. On to the service- not super professional, but not rude either. If you read any of my other reviews I say that a lot and I guess what I mean is... They're not very over polite. Like, they're not the kind of polite that I imagine annoys people. It doesn't annoy me, it shows me you care about your job and the image of your company. Like at some Subway's, some shout it out and are super cheery to make your sandwich, others, mumble it and hate putting your sandwich together. Chipotle isn't nearly that bad but they certainly aren't thrilled to be making your burrito or burrito bowl. Atmosphere- why are you getting 4 stars? Noise. We can't take our baby with us on date night here because it is just so noisy in there. From last I remember the the music was too loud, and overall just the noise is very loud. Like in the Genghis Grill it has a very high roof with very little noise absorbing materials. However, the atmosphere is also kind of neat because it is a very modern place. Very neat little place. Neat little noisy place, that is. However noisy it is, if you're lucky you can sit outside on a cool summer night. Very nice :)! All in all I recommend this chipotle unless you have a young baby and sitting outside is not your thing.

Not the cheapest Mexican take out but the food is great and the staff is super friendly. My steak bowl is large enough for two meals. I know what I'll be having for dinner.

The food is great but on my most recent trip I noticed the staff eating and drinking on the service Line. A major health no no. They were just grabbing chips off of the wall and eating while working. Not cool.

Wet food served in a damn sock. But this pretty much describes all burritos. I've had worse but far from spectacular.

We were glad to see Chipotle come to town - until we ate there. Over half a dozen visits, the main thing we noticed was how stingy they are on ingredients. Unlike a nearby competitor, which always gives a generous serving of everything, this Chipotle limits a soft taco to 6 little chunks of chicken and no more than 3 fried onions. We liked the flavor enough to come back a few more times, but yesterday's visit guaranteed we'll never eat here again. The kitchen was FULL of flies. They were on all of the meats, the rice, the vegetables, the tortillas. The staff stood behind the counter and watched them. We mentioned our disapproval to the staff, and received absolutely no response before leaving for good.

Being from Atlanta living in-between 2 different Chipotle's I defiantly have to say the Montgomery location is by far the best. Kudos to the management for having a well trained staff giving great customer service.

Good flavor but chicken taco was cold. The meat was not warm at all. Nothing really special or unique in the menu, but flavor was good .

If you like burritos you will love Chipotle. This place opened up a few weeks ago and is still going through the pains of being new, they are getting into the groove. I have never walked away unhappy. Enjoy.
