What a a little gem on Dauphin Street! I was visiting from out of down and didn't really have high expectations for Mobile. No one I know has ever been here so I couldn't really get any advice of what to do or see. We decided to check out this candy shop for a little afternoon pick-me-up. The woman working behind the counter was a great help in guiding my boyfriend to choose the perfect candy for him. There was a wide selection and they are all made in house. The candy itself was delicious. We even came back the next day to get more. I love shopping locally and discovering the true flavor of somewhere I'm visiting. This is the perfect place if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth! Great job, Three George's!

I can honestly say this is the best candy I've ever had in my life! True story. We stumbled upon this place during one of our "let's just walk around Mobile" adventures. It's a quaint little candy shop with a few tables and a cozy little bar you can belly up to for an ice cream Sunday or a delicious milkshake! Opposite the bar are glass cases full of varieties of fresh made candy. The pralines, chocolate mint and chocolate truffles are amazing, but honestly, the Grand Marnier chocolate covered pecan is the absolute best candy I've ever put in my mouth. Words can't describe the sweet, creamy, chocolaty goodness! If your wife or Mamma is really mad and you don't know why, give her a box of these and she'll forget why she's mad too! Problem solved. You're welcome. If you're going to be in downtown Mobile, please do yourself a favor and check this place out!

The staff seemed disgruntled, but not hostile. I bought $12 worth of sweets. The chocolate was horrible. The peanut butter milk chocolate tasted like plastic. The white chocolate cashew was awful and made me feel sick, straight up stomach ache. I threw everything else away.

Its a great little candy shop, right in the heart of Mobile. They offer ice cream, shakes, and cholocates galore. It needs to be on your list of things to see and try, and you should do so every time you visit Mobile, so they place will be around for all to enjoy... GO THERE! :)

I really want to give this place 5 stars because the people were so nice and its such an adorable place but after trying the fudge I can't give 5 stars. I was visiting a friend from Chicago and she brought me here to buy some treats for the plane. I bought 1/4 pound of fudge and a dark chocolate covered peanut cluster. My friends and I tried the fudge on the plane and all agreed that it tasted moldy. It was so horrible, we all spit it out. I'm really hoping that it doesn't always taste like dirty sewer water and this batch was just somehow made incorrectly.

Turtles are my favorite type of chocolate and the one in here is the freaking best I ever had! The orange peels dipped in white chocolate is amazing. I will defiantly be coming back

Their chocolates are super tasty. I'm a big fan of the dark chocolate Heavenly Hash. A big marshmallow coated in dark chocolate and pecans. A bit on the pricey side (almost $2 for one marshmallow) but I can't resist. I had lunch there for the first time. The place doesn't really draw a lunch crowd (which is why I went because every where else was packed out). I ordered the chicken sandwich with a garden salad and drink for $6.50. The meal in itself was just OK. It was supposed to come on a 5 grain bread but instead came on a dry-ish croissant. However, a whole meal for 6.50 and no lines = worth it. The staff are always nice and helpful and don't seem annoyed when I come in for 2 pieces of chocolate, so that's nice.

Childhood memories of gourmet Easter Baskets wrapped in pastel colored cellophane and filled with homemade goodies from George's. White chocolate bunny, malted milk eggs (my longtime favorite), and plastic eggs filled with jelly bellies (at that time George's was the only place in town to get them). I think I'll order myself a basket this year.

Super nice workers. I picked up a praline that the worker thought was too small, and without enough nuts so she went to the back and hand picked one twice as big full of pecans. Love the southern hospitality.

Last time I went in they were sampling pralines and chocolate covered bacon. Need I say more. It is a wonderful old fashioned candy store with a few modern twists.

While visiting from California, I stopped in here while strolling around downtown Mobile. I just had a chocolate shake, but it was one of the best I've ever had. The decor was what was expected from a candy store/ice cream shop. The staff was very friendly and ready to help.

This place is special. I used to love going here during Mardi Gras and whenever I was in downtown Mobile. It's on the corner of Dauphin Street where a short walking distance from the restaurants and bars in downtown. The rock candy was always my favorite but the chocolates are great. They make everything in the morning from scratch. They still use old fashion machines and recipes. If you are ever in Mobile you MUST go here. I mean, it's the beez knees... Not too fond of Mobile but this is a must if you're in the city.

I LOVE this place! I come here after I eat lunch at Mama's for a sweet treat. They have a ton of different nuts dipped in chocolate and white chocolate. They also do floats and shakes. You can eat inside or outside too!

Nice old-fashioned feeling little candy shop staffed by sort of hipster type kids. Had a milkshake, which hit the spot. Looks like they sell mainly chocolate, some nice holiday gift items as well, and sandwiches as well though I didn't get to try.
