The service is painfully slow....allow a few hours for a main course and a desert. The food is of interest but the portions are very small and very expensive. The taste is reasonable and the setting is nice but I really cannot see ever returning there again as there simply is nothing special enough to draw one back. In short, probably of interest for a single visit if you like experiencing something new but there is absolutely nothing here to keep you coming back. They really need to do something about the service as it took far too long to bring out any food and then you have to wait while things are prepared at tableside. In addition while some of our party essentially finished their meal others had not yet received there food to start the process of cooking it. Probably better to avoid this place if you can.

I thought our service was good. The drinks were awesome. The food was good. My only complaint: most of the entree choices had beef. I don't eat beef.

We came here for a birthday party with 12 guests and our service was bad. Unbelievably slow and our server was no where to be found. I would not recommend coming here with more than 4 guests. The bread was stale and the portions were small for the price.

Our first time trying fondue, it definitely won't be our last! We were seated promptly by the hostess who was very nice. Our server Wesley was awesome; he was knowledgeable with the menu and attentive throughout our meal. Now the food: spectacular! The spinach and artichoke cheese was awesome, highly recommend. We had the land and sea and pacific rim entrees which were both superb. Finally, the best part: CHOCOLATE! We had the caramel toffee crunch...SO delicious. We will definitely be back soon, what a fun and social way to enjoy a meal! P.S. The manager came by and gave our 15 month old the cutest little stuffed teddy bear...SO sweet! She loves it!

So the reason this place only got 3 stars from me is because this place just isn't for me. I got the surf and turf 4 course meal, and the food was good BUT I didn't enjoy the experience. The waitress was super knowledgeable and extremely helpful, but I just wasn't into the whole fondue experience. For those who don't know what this is, basically you get the cheese prepared at your table, you get the chocolate brought out already melted to your table, but you cook your own meal using the fondue pot. Again, the experience wasn't for me, but the food was good. The dessert course was amazing! We got the caramel turtle chocolate and that was (for me) the best part of the meal!

It's like nothing else, and a wonderful dining experience. Our server Andi was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were seated quickly. Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. An excellent date night... we highly recommend it!

Awesome experience!! This was my first time and it was delicious!! I got the surf and turf four course. It was AMAZING!! I was alone so I ate at the bar. The bartenders were super nice and they kept me entertained the entire time. If you are ever in Mobile and want to try something different please go eat at the melting pot! I will be back!!

We went this time with a group of 8 for a birthday party. The quality of food was great as always and the service was excellent, the only thing was that our server may have been a bit overwhelmed because it took us 4 hours to make it through all of our courses. Which we enjoyed the time together, it just took a while.

We arrived at The Melting Pot at 6:00 (The time of our reservation), and were promptly greeted by (I may have this wrong) Tayisha (The young woman with shorter dark hair hostessing that night). She quickly and cheerfully us seated at a wonderful and secluded table. It was perfect for our Anniversary dinner! Our server this evening was Winston. He was one of the best servers we have ever had the pleasure to experience! He precisely and professionally made us aware to all of our wonderful menu options, and graciously cautioned us of the hot plate. His manner was very polite, pardoning himself each time he checked on us and making sure we were enjoying everything to the absolute fullest. In fact he even took the time to remember our name, and refer to us as Mr. ___ and Mrs. ___. Our drinks were never dry, and our dirty plates were never left unattended. His understanding of the menu, and everything The Melting Pot had to offer was amazing. He offered many local and house specials- several of which we chose and enjoyed immensely. At the end of our night he bid us on our way with well wishes and congratulations. His service is above and beyond anything we could have expected. Our experience at the Melting Pot was made exceptional by Winston and his coworkers. We will certainly recommend The Melting Pot, and of course Winston, to our friends and family. Also, a personal thank you to Winston for providing such an excellent service for our special night. We were blessed by the experience you provided.

We loved everything we had at the Melting pot! The bacon cheese appetizer was delicious and so was our chocolate fondue dessert! My kids had a ball and it was definitely a great experience. We will be back. Yum! Matt was our server and was really great with kids, too.
