The Harbor room is an absolutely stunning space filled with lots of natural light and plush, cozy seating. We decided to have breakfast here while staying at the hotel and all in all it was an a-ok experience. The good: -the breakfast buffet is really good. Lots of fresh fruit, berries, yogurt, granola and juices. -great hot choices...crispy bacon, soft and warm biscuits, perfectly scrambled eggs, waffle maker and a made to order omelette station. Yum! The bad -pricey. For two the breakfast will set you bad about $40. Yikes. -speaking of the omelette station...the woman running it on our second visit could not have been more unpleasant. She acted put out when we ordered an omelette and like she was doing us the biggest favor of our lives by making the omelette. Not good. I would probably come here again because the food was great and the ambiance is very nice but if I'm in Mobile again I'll definitely be looking for alternative breakfast places in addition to this one. You can never have too many choices!

This place is always packed for breakfast and is very good. The breakfast buffet is a good choice but the food on the menu is also a good choice.

Staying at the Renaissance so this was a no-brainer choice for breakfast seeing that I don't want to venture.. Just to eat! Cool looking place, wish I was sat by the window, but eating alone, they put me at a small table with big couch like chairs.. Cool and comfy, but dark.. Went with the breakfast buffet.. Scrambled eggs were just how I like them, bacon was crispy and hot and I must note the spicy sausage.. I could've made a meal out of that alone!! Delish! Service was good. Nothing special.. But my waiter was nice and checked back and kept things clean.. Pretty pricey for breakfast.. I don't mind paying for something good when it's worth it but $40 is a bit redic. I get hotels charge more.. But cmon. Next time I will find a good greasy spoon if I'm in the area.. But it was good

We ate hear our first night in town because it was raining and didn't want to leave the hotel. The food is average but not worth the price. The service is 5 star.

I ate here after a hotel workout and was HUNGRY! I had my wife and teenaged daughter with me. After reviewing the breakfast menu can comparing it to the buffet price, we all ended up ordering the Banana Soufflé Pancakes. They were not too banana, but just right. Warm and comforting and delicious! They were meant to be served with Baldwin County berries. They forgot our berries until my wife asked for them. There is also a local praline crunch on top. This could have been more nut and less sugar. It was really like candy on top. Delicious!

I am giving 4 stars at this time because the management gave us a "do-over" that was out of this world, but we will still have to make a return visit in the near future to revisit the 'regular' treatment of guests in their dining room. Our initial 1st visit was a complete disaster, however after voicing our complaints the management really stepped up & proved to us that they genuinely do care about their customers as well as their quality of food & service! We were offered a return visit that made us feel nothing less than royalty! The service that we received was above & beyond anything we could have expected! Our food was prepared by the chef with the utmost care and was spectacular to our taste-buds! It is truly wonderful to have found a facility that really does care about their customer feedback! We will return here again & we will recommend to others!

I was told to visit try the harbor room as it is supposed to be one of the nicer restaurants here in the renassaince hotel. Unfortunately, i had one of my worst dining experiences in mobile here. The caprese salad and fish entree was actually not so bad, but there are many reasons why i woudl skip eating here. Highlights of the experience: My server had no idea what the special was. After scampering off to retrieve the information, she had no idea how it was prepared. the bread and butter. the butter was room temperature but it looks like it had been sitting out for way too long. the bread was MICROWAVED so it was two hard rock chunks of bread. WHAT?

Really good food! Im almost convinced they have the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. The service wasnt the greatest, actually, it was terrible. I had to get up twice to find my server, but since the food was really well prepped I give it 3 stars. Kudos to the chef for holding it together.
