As a native Texan this place is a god send for me. I've been in Mobile for a job and have been deprived of much, including Tex-Mex. A co-worker recently discovered this place and recommended it to me knowing I've been having withdrawals. Everything I've had is authentic. Margaritas are pretty good as well!

We ate here today. Chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The cheese sauce was cold and clumped together. The red sauce on my enchilada was not tasty. Our three prson order came out in three intervals minutes apart so we did not get to eat together. My husband liked his taco salad. I was expecting something great from the reviews, but I can do a better job making mexican food.

Wow. Let me just say this Mexican food made my day. I was with a group of friends passing through the city and had to get our oil changed and tires rotated so we took a walk to the first Mexican food spot we could find...and man were we impressed. I ordered the 2 enchiladas beans and rice lunch special for 6.99. It was beyond filling and the enchiladas were to die for. Not to mention their 99 cent beer special on Monday and Tuesday. plus their staff was amazing!

Ate at this establishment on Friday for lunch. I decided based on a review I read here, and was it ever accurate. The food was fresh and hot, and very delicious. This is without a doubt my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Mobile. Thanks Yelp!

Now upfront the food is good. The waitress we had was AWFUL.... Didn't bring chips and salsa. Gave attitude for asking about the food. Really unhappy since we shop at the store next door regularly...

This is the best place for Mexican food in Mobile, hands down. I've only ever ordered off their traditional menu so I can't speak for their burritos, enchiladas, tamales, and other combo dishes. Very nice sized portions! So- What do you order? I recommend the following: Chilaquiles- best I have ever had in Alabama (Bham, Huntsville, and Mobile) Carne Asada- giant, tender, and perfectly seasoned Marinated Grilled Chicken- sounds boring and americanized, but trust me on this Pastor Tacos- my favorite meat to have on their traditional soft corn tacos House Made Green and Red Spicy Sauce- Without this, your meal is obsolete They have amazing drink specials for lunch. $2 beer and $2 margaritas (frozen or on the rocks). On some nights they have mexican karaoke going on which is always a blast to watch and listen to. The servers are great and very helpful in helping you decide what you should order. Give them a try!

So you walk in and you think your on vacation in Mexico! ! Music playing ppl eating laughung having a great time!! The best thing about this restaurant is you can get all the Mexican spices you want because they have a store in the restaurant! ! Spices canned goods like hominy. Tortillas all the mexican cheese you need to make your own authentic tacos!! Love it! If you come here on a Friday you can Kareoke in English or Spanish. Its very authentic here. Great atmosphere. Great food. Lots of specials. Come here for breakfast lunch or dinner and stay for the fun!!

Their lunch specials can't be beat! Authentic Mexican food for a great price! I love stopping here for lunch! They've got both the Tex-Mex and authentic stuff so you'll be happy either way.

Pretty authentic tasting tacos, the salsa and guacamole are both very fresh and tasty. Best Mexican food we have found around here so far. They also have a little grocery store with authentic Mexican and South American items, but that stuff is kind of pricey.

Good street tacos and cold beer. They have a limited menu, mostly authentic. Some of the "Specials" are worth trying. Above average for this area. The grocery store (attached) has a variety of hard to find Mexican food products.
