So disappointing for our Easter brunch. Ordered the quiche... most likely came out of a box and was heated up. Eggs Benedict came out half-done-forgot the paprika. Salad came out with our meals.. Had to ask waiter over and over for lemons. WON'T be back.

Pretty disappointed. What a waste of a beautiful building in a great location. I ate at the Florida street location twice and it was good, but I did not have very high expectations. It was a dingy bar/restauraunt. I walked into the "new" Crockmeirs and was stunned by what a nice job that they did with the decor. I couldn't wait to see the new menu. Nope. Same old menu, with higher prices. Food: I really like french onion soup. I have to say that it is pretty good and I can't find it anywhere else. My brother had their $8 bowl of chili. It was a decent bowl of chili. We both had steak fries as a side. Good fries. The second time that I ate there I ordered the chili cheeseburger for $10. I told them that they forgot the chili. The waitress informed me that it was under the patty. After further investigation, I did find a teaspoon or so of chili. The person that I was eating with ordered the nachos. The nachos were terrible. What??? Terrible nachos? Canned everything. Service: Service was fine. It did take a looooong time. Over an hour for lunch, which is not acceptable for nachos and a burger w/ fries. This place really needs to learn how to handle a normal lunch crowd. Twice is enough... I'm done.

i ordered a hamburger and chips and salsa. the chips were stale.... the hamberger BLEH! bun was dry, house made Teriyaki sauce tasted like gravy, the cheese, as listed on the menu, was missing from my burger Staff was friendly and attentive, the place looks great, too bad the food was far under par

Hate to knock on a small local business, but I've been drug here by my coworkers a few times- we eat together as a group maybe 3-4 times a year and apparently they keep forgetting the terrible service and overpriced, greasy food from the previous experience and keep picking the place for our quarterly lunch. I will say the interior is done well, but is reminiscent of a cruise ship on the inside- all polished wood and brass. The service has always been terribly slow, orders wrong, etc. And the food is nothing worth coming back for- the time I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich it was basically a REALLY SAD version of a grilled cheese. With a side of soggy steak fries & drink and suddenly you've spent $14 on a lunch- WTH? There are far better institutions on Dauphin Street- keep on strollin'!

TP Crockmier's was good. The chicken fingers were fantastic. The bar tender and staff were also very good. We were their all day due to events outside and had lots of bar food. Most was good and reasonable priced.

We were in the mood for dessert and drinks and we saw that they had key lime and apple pie. We sat at the bar and it seemed to have a nice atmosphere. The bartender Jack was pleasant enough. They have about 6 beers on tap and I had the Nola Blonde. It was a nice light beer. When we were ordering Jack told us that the apple pie I was considering was Sara Lee. I asked if there were any desserts made in house and he said no. To top things off it's pretty expensive for store bought dessert and mediocre beer.

I came here for a business lunch, the waitress was friendly and quick. She gave me local favorites after I had asked and recommended the French onion soup. I ordered fajitas and a cup of the French onion soup, the soup was outstanding. The chicken fajitas were average.

This place was not good at all. Gordon Ramse needs to come and help this place out. I never write a bad post, so this is my first. I travel for my job and eat at different places all over. This place goes on the worst list.

I had the fajitas and thought they were pretty boring. Seems like this is a good place for a drink but I wouldn't eat there again.

This place is really nice when you walk in, all wood bar and dining room. The food is greasy and not that good. The potato skins we're a joke! Stale potatoes with a slab of cheese not totally melted on top. I don't know how you can mess up potato skins but they did. The only saving grace was their French onion soup which was really good.

Great corner joint for out-of-towners. Good atmosphere, good mix of locals and local music (Thank you Karl and Kyle!) We caught a late dinner during Godaddy Bowl and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff was friendly and attentive. Although food was nothing to write home about, it was all prepared well. Good basics: burgers, chili and friend green beans. Worth a stop if you're downtown and want a friendly, laid-back place!

Free glass of champagne need I say more? Ok, I will - from their award winning chili and onion rings to their made to order juicy burgers this bi level establishment with a game on every TV will not disappoint. Loree, our server, was extremely attentive to our party of 6 and the food came out promptly which helped us get back on the road quickly to continue our journey - so glad we stopped there!

We were really excited about the down town location, worst service ever. Food was ok, not worth the price. Went back a second time, repeat of the first. We will never go back.

It looks like a really nice place. We just wanted a drink. KInda sad drink menu. We just got bloody maries which were fine. Menu was average but didnt want or get food. Not an exciting place but in fairness our drink was just fine and we didnt eat. meh

We visited for lunch on our way through Mobile. After seeing the other restaurants (mostly bars) on the downtown street, we decided to eat here. It had options that pleased us for lunch. I chose a cup of the soup of the day (chicken gumbo) and a chicken salad croissant. My husband had a house salad and the Monte Cristo. We were both very pleased with our choices. It was the perfect place for lunch! The service was great, and the tea was good. Definitely would eat there again!

Mediocre service, below average food. Waitress forgot appetizer, did nothing to fix that. A Conecuh sausage burger sounds amazing, but they somehow managed to make it ungood. Wife ordered turkey wrap, said it was all right, bland. Beer selection lame. This place is basically a fake TGI Friday's with tiny little tables. Also, no Sam Adams on tap, and they were out of bottles.

The service was friendly and fast but the food was just horrible. The chicken was dry and burned while the sandwich was bland and beige-looking. The reason for them to still be here must be the location and unknowing visitors to the city.

The food was ok. Nothing special. The atmosphere was very dead yet the staff seemed bothered, overwhelmed, or tired. No one greeted us at the door we seated ourselves and had to get our own menus before anyone waited on us. I ordered buffalo wings and got served fried chicken wings with no buffalo sauce. I received a not so pleasant look from the waiter when I asked for the buffalo sauce.

The old place was lots of fun. The food was never outstanding, but the atmosphere (and strong toddies) more than made up for it. Now that they are Downtown it just is not right. The food (I have eaten here 3x) is not good at all. I actually enjoyed (back in the day) things like a greasy Monte Cristo. Now it is just bland and greasy - not a good taste. Service is fine and the location is good. There are just too many other options less than 100 yards away that have more to offer. It would be sad to lose a Mobile institution, but unless I hear otherwise it is off of my list.

Poor service from overworked staff. I've had one decent meal here, which is why I'm rating 2 instead of 1. Greeter looked very put out to show us a table. The waiter was unattentive, and not the least bit interested in us or our order. I can pretty much guarantee you a 20% tip if you bring us our food, and give me a refill on my tea. Neither I nor my wife are demanding diners, and we both respect the difficulty of serving the public. Even so, the service was abysmal. We should have seen the writing on the wall, and just left, but unfortunately, we stuck it out, and in return, my wife was given the wrong meal. The waiter placed the plates and stormed off before we could stop him. He never made eye contact with us, just put the plates on the table and was gone. While my order was correct (Eggs Benedict), it was prepared incorrectly. It was very oversalted, the eggs were overdone, and they flubbed the hollandaise, which was barely edible and lacked any lemon. I will not be making a return trip.

The food was just ok. I ordered the chicken salad that came with an English muffin. I thought it would be more like a sandwich but it was just half the muffin. It was more like a salad. The lettuce seemed from a bag and not that fresh. The bloody mary was just ok as well. The atmosphere was good not sure if I would try it again. The menu variety is alot.

Well, we've given this place a lot of chances, it's easy to be seated, and it's been convenient to eat at on Symphony nights when we forget to get reservations at a restaurant in the LODA area. Last night was the last time though for us to go. Got there at 6:10pm, was given half a menu, not even the half with the entrees. Took us 15 minutes to get our drinks, and mine was only water. Finally ordered food and 45 minutes later it arrived. My burger was fair, my wife got potato boats that consisted of hollowed out potato halves and melted cheese, no bacon, no sourcream, no chives, just cheese and potato. The service was slow, it was poor quality food, and the manager did nothing to make it right. So, no more pre-Symphony meals there, no more after-Symphony dessert there, no more of anything to deal with TP's.

Last time was brunch.Eggs were raw, cheese grits had no taste, english muffin was right out of the package. Service was terrible, place looks dirty already. This was not during Mardi Gras ,when that can be expected. I had also brought guests for all 4 visits, they will not be going back and neither will I.
