I've never seen Chinese drive-through, so that's different ( I don't suggest trying to eat rice while driving.) I found it a weird that they had signs advertising Chinese spare ribs but they were not on the menu. The food they had was good and fresh. I think with all they hype when they first opened I was expecting more than just fast-food.

Well, Husband and I went to Panda Express for dinner. He is a big fan since there are oodles of them in the Seattle area. Very clean and staffed with friendly albeit somewhat pushy servers. She meant well but since I was unfamiliar with them, I wasn't in a BIG hurry to order. Once I told her to wait a minute she calmed down. The Sweet Fire Chicken and Walnut Shrimp with Chow Mien was delightful and plentiful. Even though Husband said it was little skimpy compared to the Seattle ones. I was pleased with the presentation, portions and taste. I even thanked the Manager an the staff for a great meal on my way out. Yes, I would recommend Panda Express. Oh, the Panda Passion Tea was just unsweet tea--I guess that would be my only negative. Maybe they just forgot to mix in the flavors.

Modern interior fresh and clean inside... Easy menu priced right. Blackpepper chicken was delicious. I uploaded photos for your benefit and even included a copy of my receipt. Couldn't give it five stars because this Chinese place was out of soy sauce. The only Chinese place I know of that has a drive through. We will be back.

They will take orders for pick up, but when I called, they rudely told me they only do online orders, they do not take orders over the phone. I decided to go to a different restaurant that understands customer service.

I've been there a few times and i've seen the workers throw back food inside the bowl that were already put on a plate to be served....not once but twice...

Uhm as an "authentic" Asian I can't help but laugh at some if these reviews. I make authentic Korean and Japanese food at home but sometimes it's just nice to not have to cook anf Panda is always my go to. The staff is always friendly and more than willing to make new, fresh, or more of whatever they have or don't have.

Seriously people it doesn't claim to be "authentic asian cuisine". I don't go to Taco Bell expecting a true representation of Mexican cuisine. It's fast food Chinese food and for that it's damn good. Enjoyed the Shanghai steak and walnut shrimp with fried rice. I like my food spicy so I recommend getting the chili sauce when you check out. The price is in line with your normal delivery chinese food.

The place is clean and the employees are friendly. The vegetable fried rice was pretty good, but the orange chicken had been sitting a while and was inedible. I usually like sweet and sour chicken and my husband like general tsao's, but they dont offer this. They also dont have plain chicken strips for a kids' meal. Everything has sauce on it and my daughter wont eat it.

These guys are killing it. The charismatic guy at the counter, didn't catch his name, gave us awesome service even though he was busy...that dude deserves a raise for sure. Food was ok not, "authentic," Asian as some of the other reviews have mentioned ha. But, I was served quickly and my food was fresh. The sweet fire chicken is the best way to go.

This is a pretty good restaurant. You may not have knowed this, because I sure didnt, but all of the meats they have in China is made from panda bears. You can get you panda bears that taste like teriyaki chickens. You can get you panda bears that taste like broccoli beefs. You can even get you panda bears that taste like shrimps. I got me some panda bears that tasted like orange chickens and some panda bears that tasted like shrimps with some rice. And a cokecola. Oh, and you can also get you a eggroll, which is the same as the type of hushpuppies they have at Hawaiian Express. And just like in Hawaii, Chinese people use what is called soy sauce because they don't got no ketchup. Sometimes you dont know what you is missing in the world until you have some. Next I want to try food from the erotic place that we call Idaho. If any of you know any Idaho restaurants in Alabama please send me a envelope.

Tried it out twice, terrible both times. $10 for a meal that tasted old and gross. The first time I waited 30 minutes for chow mien. The second time was super fast, but it tasted old and disgusting.

One of the things that I love living in the East Coast rather than in the South is that I can find more real authentic Asian food. To be honest, I never like those "Chinese/Asian" food that's been Americanize, it just taste so bad. If you've ever tried authentic Asian cuisine you know exactly what I am talking about....especially if you ever been to Asia and eat the food in those countries and you know exactly how awful these so called fake "Asian" "Chinese" food are in the U.S. The first time I tried Panda Express was years ago when I used to live in California. Today, I decided to give it another try. The building looks very nice and the place is clean and neat. I gave two stars for the cleanliness and friendly services. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food (the meat, the chicken, the fried rice, the chowmean, and the egg rolls), just as I expected they taste just like any of those fake "Asian"/"Chinese" take out food places. I personally wouldn't come back to this place. But I guess this is just my view. But I think if you do like (not-authentic) "Asian"/"Chinese" food in general then maybe you would like Panda Express too. But if you are like me who prefer authentic Asian cuisine then this place is not for you.

I officially had a bad meal at Panda Express. I went to this Panda Express at 1115 a.m. thinking what a great time to go, they just opened and the food would be fresh. NO WAY! I was old. They had to have saved food from the night before hoping no one would notice. I wouldn't have minded it as much if it wasn't soggy and way over sauced. GROSS!!! I don't know when or if I'll be going back!!!!!

Limited selection, food inedible, overpriced. Went there today for lunch...sorry, but paying $9.30 for a single serving of 9 pieces of hard orange chicken that were inedible and a piece of it broke my fork along with god awful chow mein..no thanks! All of my coworkers agreed we will NEVER make that mistake of eating there ever again.

Walked in at 7PM and the line was to the door. Waited 20 minutes only to get something not very satisfying. I ordered chow men that looked like it had been sitting out for hours, very dry and tasteless. Orange "chicken" that was mainly just batter with very little bits of chicken and shanghai beef that was mediocre at best. This place has been all the hype since it has opened and I'm questioning myself why people wait for this kind of food. There are TONS of places within a 0.5 mile radius that blow this place out of the water! Support local and forget the franchise.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
