No waiting this time, the food was fresh and tasted good. Looks like they are trying to step up their efforts.

The stuffed Chicken Marsala was great, the seafood alfredo was not all that great, the service was great ,but we had to wait a long time for our food

Today while Mr. and Mrs. Farmer was out doing some Christmas shopping they decided to dine in at Olive Garden at 3:30PM to have one of their favorite of the menu the soup and salad. The Farmers walked into the Olive Garden restaurant and they were immediately greeted by employees at the appointment desk and quickly escorted to a table. After the Farmers were seated soon after a waitress came to the table and introduced herself as Hope and gave them Menus to look at and order from. As soon as Hope gave the Menus to the Farmers they told her they did not need the Menus because they wanted to order the soup, salad, and breadsticks, coke a cola and water for drinks. Hope asked the Farmers if they wanted the salad first or both the soup and salad at the same time, the Farmers replied they would like both at the same time. Hope told the Farmers she would be back with their drinks and she was back in a flash with the Farmers drinks. Hope then told the Farmers she would bring the soup and salad to the table as soon as it was prepared and ready and the Farmers replied Ok and then Hope then proceeded to wait on other people while the Farmers enjoyed each other's company. Minutes later Hope showed up with at the Farmers table with the Pasta e Fagioli soup, salad, and breadsticks. Hope then asked the Farmers if they needed anything else and the Farmers replied no that would be all for now. Hope then proceeded to wait on other people and checking in occasionally on the Farmers to see if they needed a refill on drinks. The Farmers set and enjoyed the hot Pasta e Fagioli soup with breadsticks along with the fresh, crisp, tossed salad and a cool drink to wash it down with. The Farmers finished their meal and asked Hope for their bill, a to-go container, and bag to place their left overs in to take home and enjoy later. Hope returned with the bill, a to-go container, and bag to place their left overs in and then took Mr. Farmers credit card that was inside the folder and took it to the cashier and returned quickly with Mr. Farmers credit card and the receipt for Mr. Farmer to sign. Review: The waitress named Hope was, polite, friendly, prompt, and graceful in her movement, style, form, and execution in waiting and serving tables. Waiting time for a table was quick, quality and quantity, salad fresh and crisp, soup good, hot, and robust, service wait time fast, friendly employees, good management involvement, big parking lot, nice interior and exterior building design, clean bathrooms, and the Farmers waitress Hope was wonderful. Review for the Farmers visit to the Olive Garden located at 3701 Airport Boulevard on 11/26/12 is given a 5***** stars for a great dining experience. Horrible food served ice cold. Terrible service...As someone whose been in the service industry most of his life,I like to think of myself as fairly knowledgeable on the subject. These guys are horrible....I know its Olive Garden so its not like I'm expecting five star or anything but jeez....All the severs do is walk around with their eyes on the floor..look at your damn tables once in awhile!!

This place fed me 3 nights out of a week when I was here on work. Great food, great service, great employees.

Decided to try OG since they have shook things up some. The first change I noticed was no rolling chairs. I really enjoyed easing in on my pasta. Not a set back but a change. The other was you can now pay at the table with a kiosk. Now to the food. Mother who is 92 ordered the eggplant parmesan. She had concerns about the first piece of eggplant but quickly settled in and was satisfied. Also she spoke on salad being mostly stalks but wifey differed saying it was good for her after the second bowel. They both agreed eggplant parmesan not as good as before changes. I stuck with my ol standby of lasagna with zuppa tuscana soup. Less meat in the soup but the flavor was as good as before. The lasagna serving was a tad smaller but just as tasty as ever. I left full and satisfied and feeling the food was as good as ever. The service was good but not great. Server was always busy and somewhat forgetful. All in all I look forward to returning.

The service here is so slow I actually weighed less the next day. Staff was friendly but that did not make up for the slowest dining experience I have ever experienced. Our waiter could have easily taken care of all his tables had he just put some forethought into his service. Instead of repeatedly coming around empty handed, when you know we are waiting on napkins, silverware, drinks, plates, salad ( the breadsticks were there but no napkins) maybe utilizing those trips while searching for your note pad And getting drink orders would have been smart. The restaurant was clean so no problem there. Food was mediocre but was acceptable since after the long wait and anticipation anything would have been satisfying. Seems like Olive Garden is headed down the same path O'Charley's is right at Shoney's level of service and food.

This is our first time to Olive Garden with their new menu. We ordered the chicken alfredo flatbread and chicken w/ risotto. They were both not very good. Rice was crunchy, and flatbread was tough. Our waiter was nice, but slow. We won't be eating there again.

Worst olive garden ever, I have been to many olive gardens and this one is horrible! I've given them a few try over the years and every time it's a bad meal. The food quality is bad the wait staff us bad the atmosphere is obnoxious. Please go across the bay in Alabama or diberville mississippi!!

had the stuffed chicken marsala (**** stars) the bread sticks were overly salty and the salad had too much vinegar. Service was good and refilled sodas and brought more salad to our table but its a chain restaurant where the food is probably prepped in a bag. It was ok...

Loved our waiter, omg. Jason. Super nice. Very attentive and funny. Our food was also amazing. I got the new Southern Tour of Italy, though I won't again, it was good but not my fave. My husband got stuffed chicken Marsala and it was amazing. We really enjoyed it and it made a bad day better.

Mediocre. We were disappointed to see a long time favorite place become not so welcoming. My husband's usual dish, steak gorgonzola, was served cold and nasty. There was stench of some sort as the server placed the dish in front of us. He took one bite and had to return the dish. We haven't been back since. In the future at another olive garden chain location maybe and we just won't order any beef entrees there period.

Went to Olive Garden for dinner last night and thought it was a safe bet for being in a new area and not really knowing any other places. I was so wrong. My Husbands meal contained steak in which he ordered well done and not once but twice it came back from the kitchen ranging from rare to medium. I ordered a simple soup which was fine. Later that night we both were up extremely sick and are still feeling it this morning. The sickness prompted me to write a review since I feel the chef did not properly cook our food. The fact we had to send something back was upsetting because I don't like to complain at all. The manager took my Husbands meal off our bill which was great but being sick not so much. Our server was nice and we made sure to let her know that I knew it was a kitchen problem and nothing she had done. After going to Olive Garden for years with incredible service and food, I still feel this will steer me clear for a while.

My last visit after about a year was a big disappointment with service and food quality... This place has really gone down hill since the last time I eat there for sure.. It is starting to smell like it needs some major cleaning. Staff on Saturday night at 8:00 acted like they were doing our party a favor by taking our order and although the eatery was very empty our food took forever to come out. Very small portions and the pasta was so under cooked it was crunchy... Never again..... I don't know what has happened to this place but they better fix it or close it up...

Today, for the first time in my life, I ordered a bowl of pasta (fettuccine) from the Olive Garden. I was sucked in by the Never Ending Pasta promotion. It was very overcooked. I tried my brother's penne also. Same thing. How could they do that to both dishes? I googled it, and found out they it is done deliberately to appease the masses of people that don't really know any better. Tomato sauce with sausage = good. Meat sauce = bad. I did go there once for the never ending soup/salad/breadsticks. That is a good value and the pasta fagioli soup was good. I can't forgive an "Italian" restaurant for mushy pasta though. I'd rather spend a few extra dollars for a quality meal. I don't really need a double portion to make up for bad food. I think that I am in the minority though with this way of thinking.

Wow! The quality of the food has gone downhill since I last ate here in 2011. I got the Mixed Grill; my husband got the Tour de Italy. We couldn't eat our food because it was THAT disgusting. At least the salad and customer service were good.

Ate at Olive Garden with my wife, her sister and brother-in-law. The food was excellent. I'll just speak to mine. We had the standard salad and bread sticks (not the best part of the meal), then split a calamari appetizer. The calamari was excellent, not at all rubbery. I then had the seafood gordotto, which is a fish stew cort of dish with shrimp, scallops and talapia in a reddish broth. It was excellent. The service was also excellent. The missing star would be for ambience. The place is fairly crowded and noisy. Other than that everything was good. We got to the restaurant at 6:00 on a Saturday and by the time we left there was a long line and the parking lot was overflowing - get there early.

We went here for my cousins birthday. There Was about 15 of us and it was a slow day but we waited for thirty mins to get seated. Then when they seated us they had put a square table and a round table together so it made the seating awkward. Then the breadsticks were burnt. And my brother and fiancé plates tasted like nothing. We will not ever eat here again.

I've only been to Olive Garden three times in my life and all three were different restaurants. To be frank, I never saw what all the fuss was about. The first two places had only so-so food, not to mention very little of it for the price. That feeling ended with this last visit to this particular restaurant. We were seated fairly promptly, our waiter was amusing and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and the bathrooms very clean. I'm a stickler for bathrooms. I mean if a place can't keep a bathroom clean, then I have to wonder what else isn't kept clean either. You know what I'm saying? If I had to select a fault, probably it would be the lack of beer choices. This restaurant clearly prefers wine over beer and I'm not a wine lover; never have been and never will be. On the other hand I sure do love a good beer. Unfortunately, if memory serves me correctly, they only carry two or three domestic types... even though the website says it offers a better list. I know for sure there was only one import, which by the way I seriously recommend you trying. That beer - an Italian import called Peroni - was excellent! Normally I prefer a dark beer, but even though this one was not, it was still very tasty. So much so that I'm going to look into buying some. All in all my experience here was excellent. I look forward to my next visit.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
