After trying many of the chicken places in the area, and there are a lot, I've decided that I like Foosackly's the best. Their tenders are more tender and juicy than other places, and their coleslaw is out of this world! The breading on the chicken tenders is hand-breaded, light and crispy, with a very good flavor. What makes the Foosackly formula really work is that they focus on one thing and excel at it. They don't have a bunch of needless variations on their menu, only Chicken tenders, French fries, coleslaw, and a variety of sauces that will please everybody's tastes. They are almost always very busy, especially this location, so expect a bit of a wait time, particularly during lunch and dinner rushes. But truth be told, you won't find better chicken tender anywhere else in the Mobile area. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I've never been to Raising Canes or Zaxby's so I can only rate Foosackly's on my experience there alone. We ordered a couple of 3 piece snack boxes, which included 3 chicken fingers, fries, and a piece of Texas toast. We also chose honey mustard and Foosackly's as our sauces. The chicken fingers were kind of measly. I hope it's because we ordered snack size. There was barely any meat there. I'd hate to think that the boxes were just more of the same. The Foosackly's sauce was odd to me - way too peppery. The food did its job though and kept us satiated until we had snacks at a reception a few hours later. P.S. - the name doesn't exactly slip off the tongue, does it?

I've been a fan of Foosack's since the beginning--I'd even skip class in high school to get lunch from their Dauphin St. location. I look forward to indulging whenever I'm in town from New Orleans on holidays. That being said, the quality in terms of portion size has gone down tremendously. A few years ago, a "box" would be stuffed with delicious, crinkly fries and the tenders would be huge and meaty. The last box I ordered had a pitiful smattering of fries at the bottom and a few shriveled fingers that were more crust than meat. Please see my attached photos for evidence of this. The taste is still good but I feel like it really goes against the funky local business and branding of Foosackly's. I'll still eat here because it is delicious but I'm probably going to side-eye them just a little bit. I'm not a fan of the coleslaw. I normally sub an extra foo sauce (it's crack, I swear) in lieu of the slaw. If you order the toast eat it right away--it gets soggy in the steamy heat of the styrofoam to-go container.

Meh... They taste like every other fried chicken finger everywhere. I'm not a chicken finger connoisseur, so take it with a grain of salt. I think their funny advertisement has to be why they have so much buzz.

It was ok. I'm a fried chicken lover and it was nothing special. The spicy sauce was sweet but not spicy at all. Totally recommended for colleague students and hangover days

Really good, better than Canes and lots of sauces to choose from. Definitely will come here again if I come back in the area.

For me, everything is the same as Raising Cane even down to the sauce. However, the chicken tenders and the sauce are great!

Doesn't get any better. Chicken and sides are awesome and the employees are always friendly. Their advertising is great as well. Keep up the good work!! Always my top option when wanting fast food

These are always delicious! They WERE bigger a few years ago, but they are still good. I CRAVE the Foo when Im hungover!

the fried chicken strips here are really good. The breading is just right, not to much. I love the Foo Sauce. I also like the snack and BIGGER snack size options.

Chicken was good and prices are reasonable. Service was quick. Alot of empty tables were dirty and had not been cleaned. I would go back though. It was very busy and seemed to be a local favorite.

The BEST chicken tenders in Mobile, hands down. Followed by Zaxbys, Guthries, Chick-fila, then Raisin Cains (not a fan at all). There are only chicken tenders on the menu and you can get a snack, box, a bigger box, sack, salad, chicken tender sandwich, etc. The buffalo chicken sandwich isn't on the menu but they have it, and it is definitely worth trying! They also do catering. I usually get the box and it comes with five chicken tenders, fries, coleslaw, toast, and one sauce. You can sub everything but the chicken tenders for other items/extra sauces. Unfortunately you can't sub for extra tenders! The sauces are fantastic, especially the ranch and foo-sauce. All are homemade. There are three locations that I know of - Midtown, Schillingers, and University. All locations are nice and you can eat in the dining area (you order at the counter and it is brought to the table) or go to the drive-thru. The drive-thru is usually packed at lunchtime though, be warned! The employees seem friendly enough and I've never had a problem at any of the locations. The University store is the smallest (adjoined to Smoothie King) and it is sometimes hard to get a table though. The other locations are freestanding and much bigger. Oh & I agree with the other reviewer, they have the best ice!

This place is amazing! When you come to Mobile, It's a must eat place. It's local, it's fresh, and unlike most chain chicken places, you can enjoy the taste of the flavorful chicken they serve. Great service as well!

Be warned: this chicken is addictive. One "box" is ridiculously unhealthy, but what else would you expect from a place that specializes in fried chicken fingers?! The chicken combined w/ the fries straight out of the fryer, and the texas toast, plus good coleslaw, is an artery-clogging perfect match. They also have the best ice (the really crushed kind). All that being said, my favorite thing on the menu is the foo-salad...but it's not healthy either, b/c it's loaded with chicken fingers and cheese and full-fat salad dressing...yum!

Nothing can match the FOO! I get my chicken Buffaloed!
(5)Karen B.
Can't Fake the FOO!! First time I ever ate there - was with my son and his friends...one walked up and said - "I'll have BOX"..and I have been hooked ever since. GREAT prices. Simple fresh chicken fingers and fries with the Best ranch dressing you will ever eat. Love the small flakes of ice and foam cups they use - so your drinks last all day...no trash cans inside - the staff clean up after you. you can always leave a tip for them! We do! Son has moved away from Mobile and this is always the 1st place he wants to eat at when he comes home. We favor the one on University Blvd.

I love chicken. In ANY form. Especially chicken tenders. At Foosackly's. My brother-in-law adores this place and so last year when I visited, he took me here on his day off. I've had Raisin Cane's before and I'm sure there's always a debate between the two places. I really liked Foosackly's more. The chicken was more juicy and bigger here. I love all the dipping sauces, sooo goodd. I also really liked the Sweet Tea here. It's always standard for me to order Sweet Tea everywhereeeee I eat in the South because there's nothing like that in California. The reaction I always get in California is "If you want sweet tea just sweeten it yourself". Anyway, the Sweet Tea was perfect here, just the right amount of sweetness and it really smelled like tea not syrup.

Ok so I'm kind of partial to this place because its home grown .. and the food really is good.. But (and I don't mean to step on any ones toes) but it taste just like Raising Canes.. Sorry it had to be said. But the food really is good. and the honey mustard is better here than the competition ..

The crown jewel of Mobile. Similar to In-n-out in Cali and Geno's cheese steaks in Philly, foosacklys is one of those must go places when visiting the area. This is the original location. The food is good, you can't deny it. The popular thing to do is try the strips here and at Raising Canes to come up with your favorite. Choose wisely, as your choice could be a death sentence in some circles.
