The service was sub-par. The pizza is generically decent, if you ever actually get it. Don't assume that your waitress put your order in, and this isn't the first experience here. Try Sam and Greg's if you want good pizza.

Good Pizza ! I've been to PITS twice and both times I got the Pesto Pizza add Chicken. It was pretty good and has plenty of the pesto sauce. They also have a good brownie with ice cream! Yummy ! If you like pizza Pie in the Sky is a must try ! :)

Decent place. Large selection of beers and the decor is fun (all micro breweries tin signs). Food is satisfactory, cooked fresh to order and surprisingly wide variety of Italian American items. As far as pizza, I happen to like Mellow Mushroom better but this wasn't terrible or anything. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good place for work dinners but if you are looking for amazing pizza in unique flavors, head to the Mushroom.

Ordered the calamari for an appetizer because we were starving. It was good and not rubbery-tasting like some places. Glad we had ordered this because the small pizza I had ordered was blah. Ordered the small with pepperoni and spicy sausage on thin crust. The first piece started out okay in taste. But, while I was eating it I noticed the oil from the 2 meats start oozing out onto the pan. The 2nd piece piece was so greasy I started getting nauseous. I was only able to eat the one slice because of this ($9.50 for this pizza). My husband had orderd the spaghetti with meatballs. He was not happy with the flavor. Said he had ate better at other places. Thumbs up for the calamari, only.

Have been there twice. First time, tried a thin crust pizza, it was ok. Get what they say they are known for: the Signature crust- its very good. To be daring, tried the shrimp scampi pizza! This was very interesting, good presentation, even topped with lemon slices! It was good, but next time will order a more traditional red sauce and cheese topped pizza. Good place to take out of town guests.

Have tried this place multiple times in hope things get better. Both takeout and dining in , not impressed with the pizza and a bit pricey too.

20.42 for a small pizza soda and a Caesar salad. This is for lunch only. Waitress did nothing to make it right after I questioned the bill. Apparently if you order the special and add a couple toppings they bend you over. Avoid this place at all costs

Excellent pizza and salad. They have a good selection of quality Brews. Pricing is $$ I would highly recommend them.

Went here and the food was okay as was the service. But the pizza takes 45 minutes or longer to make. My hostess Nikki was great. But the food is way overpriced. It feels more like a sports bar than a pizzeria. People more worried about the ball games than enjoying a nice atmosphere. One table threatening to leave over a ballgame not being on. The atmosphere needs to get better and food needs to go down in price to go back here again.

Worse pizza I have ever had, they claim it is the best in Huntsville. Well I hate to give this place a negative review considering it has a 4 star rating right now. But it is the truth, our service was first off not too good, they actually messed our pizza up. Which is NOT why I am saying it was awful. The bottom of the pizza was nearly burnt. The toppings were plain jane as I call it, meaning they were bland. It also took forever for the first pizza, which was the mess up to arrive.

Drive a little further and go to Mellow Mushroom. We have been here twice. Once when they first opened, our table ordered a pizza, wings, and a calzone. The calzone only had stuff on half of it, the wings were cold, and the pizza was not worth the money. The second time we went was not much better. The calamari appetizer was delicious but our pizza was nothing special, another person ordered shrimp scampi, they said it was god but not worth the price on the menu. All in all, over priced restaurant. And the service is nothing spectacular either

Everyone in my fam bam was raving about this place however the only good thing was our waitress, who also waited the rest of the restaurant til we finished our meal. The artichoke dip was the best part of our meal but my husband claims mine is better. The pizza we ordered was the carnivore and the family something. The family one was undercooked and both my husband and I got sick afterwards from it. He enjoyed the carnivore a lot though. We probably won't return unless it's for appetizers and a drink. So sad because we were excited to try it.

First time at Pie in the Sky and based on tonight's meal we won't be back, at least not to eat a meal. They have a great selection of craft beer, and that was the biggest plus of the night. Start with the appetizers. The mushrooms were very tasty and quite spicy. The dipping sauce was excellent. The cheese and bacon French fries were okay, nothing to write home about. They came with a side of ketchup which did nothing but mask the flavor of the fries. (Ketchup is fine on plain fries!) The fries would have been much enhanced with a little bit more cheese and served with the same sauce that came with the mushrooms. They did bring us some of that sauce when we asked, but you have to ask yourself why the chef made the decision to serve cheese fries with ketchup in the first place. On to dinner. My husband had the carnivore pizza and though he thought the flavor was good he said it was so dry he couldn't eat it without the ranch dressing that came on his salad. His salad was tasty and had a variety of veggies throughout. The ranch dressing was simply okay. I was going to get a gluten free pizza but that was cost prohibitive. I asked if the meatballs had bread or bread crumbs in them and the waitress told us the recipe was a secret and she couldn't tell us. They did not have gluten free pasta. So, I ordered the parmesan/garlic wings with blue cheese dressing and a Greek salad. The salad had a lot of olives and artichoke hearts, but no feta cheese. How can it be a Greek salad with no feta?? The taste was very one-note and got boring; I didn't even finish it. My wings looked great at first glance with a nice sprinkling of fresh parmesan. However, they were literally sitting in a pool of oil, which I assume was supposed to be garlic-flavored oil. There was easily 1/4 cup of oil in the basket which made the bottom wings and a lot of the celery inedible without patting the food on a napkin to absorb the oil. The wings I did eat were almost flavorless so I doused them with the blue cheese dressing, which was not great either. The dressing had no chunks of cheese, was a little too thin and had an unpleasant vinegary tang to it. Everyone at the table had a taste and not one of us liked it. Two of us consider ourselves blue cheese experts! At any rate, we thought the food was overpriced and strictly average in taste. Our waitress was very nice but there was not enough help and the service was rather slow. That didn't matter that much as we were with friends and having a great time, but had we not been wanting a three and a half hour dining experience we would have been very irritated.

I was so excited about this place because I thought it would be similar to Big Pie in the Sky in Atlanta. WRONG I ordered pizza to go and they said it'd be a 25 minute wait. I showed up exactly 25 minutes later and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. All that for just TWO pizzas. Then on top of that, the pizza was horrible! Bland sauce, cardboard-like bread, just overall bad quality. That was the first and last time I'll eat at here.

I love, love, LOVE their pizzas! It's never greasy like most pizzas are & their service was excellent. I am very picky w/ my food & in fact, I am a very tough critic to please. My hubby & I went here after church cause a friend of ours recommend this place. We got the all meat pizza & we were surprise that it didn't come out greasy. We love it here that we highly recommend this place & visit again soon. Two way up

Our first visit to Pie in the Sky was pretty disappointing. It took us about half an hour to get seated, and then we waited more than an hour to get our pizza. All this in a restaurant that was less than half full. Still, the pizza itself was pretty good - and they had just opened. So we gave it another shot. And we're glad that we did. The service has improved tremendously - enough that we're happy to chalk up that first experience to a new business finding its legs. We've never had a repeat of that. We also love that they use very fresh ingredients - locally sourced, whenever possible. Every time we've gone back, we've had a great experience. We don't eat pizza much anymore, but when we do Pie in the Sky is now our default choice even though they don't deliver and they cost more.

Love the pizza and the fact you can get an ultra thin crust that is, believe it or not, actually crusty and not soggy, is a BIG plus for me! We've tried several of the appetizers and have loved all so far. We get a couple of medium pizzas to get different crusts. The kids get dough to play with to occupy their time and there are lots of flat screens (even outside) to catch whatever sport is playing. The price is a bit steep, for pizza, but the happy faces and the full tummies (I have three boys, four if you count the one I married) make it worth it.

Good food. Good service always. They have a buttload of beers, but kind of a crappy wine selection. All in all, good place. Try the angry buffalo wings and the Mexicali pizza on ultra thin crust

Our first time here with two little kids. Service was great, and the food was very good. Tried a sampling of everything. Wings weren't the best but they weren't bad. I wouldn't get them again. Pasta was better than Olive Garden in Huntsville and better priced. Pizza is good. Stuffed mushrooms delicious and fries are good too! Thumbs up, we will be back.

Why did I wait so long to try this restaurant? On the surface it looks like a typical suburban overpriced restaurant slash sports bar with sub-par food. Well, it's not overpriced, especially compared to the other chain restaurants, and the food is actually pretty good. I've tried their pizza, wings, and sandwiches so far and they've all been fantastic. It's family friendly but there's also a bar area good for non-family groups. They seemed a little understaffed on one occasion, but that was on a weeknight so perhaps they weren't ready for a crowd that evening. I recommend the jerk wings, buffalo boat, and the buffalo pizza.

I was craving pizza all week, and Pie in the Sky satisfied that craving more than I expected. When we first entered and looked at the menu, it was very Mellow Mushroom-y, and I had some pre-dissapointment feelings about it. Our waitress Aubrey was very attentive, and agreed with us on the high prices for the cocktails. I stuck with a cheap glass of house Cabernet Sauvignon which was actually quite delightful, and turned into two glasses by the end of the night. We ordered the Herbivore pizza with whiskey habanero sauce as the base. Aubrey warned us it was spicy, which we have heard before and was disappointed by the lack of spice, but this lived up to it's name. I also ordered a side of their house made hot sauce and it was just enough to put it over the edge for me. The pizza was delicious. A bit too much crust for our liking, but better more than less! I would have included a picture but we ate everything before I remembered my penchant for documenting our dine ins on yelp. That's how good it was. There was another waitress nearby who loudly complained about a bad tip someone gave her, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. But our waitress was awesome. And we left a good tip. I think. I dunno, my boyfriend paid. But he usually leaves a good tip even with crappy service.

I rarely give a five star review, but I have been here twice now and I am gluten free and their gf pizza dough is the tastiest I've had. The service is great. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect and the toppings aren't scarce or overwhelming. Very happy with this place.

Went with my kids and my sister and her family. Was our first time. Everyone found something they liked on the menu. I went with a small pizza and it was great. I ordered thin crust which was not cracker-crust thin like some but perfect blend of crispy and chewy crust. Sauce was very tasty. Had mine topped with pepperoni and mushroom. Mushrooms were fresh and very tasty. A touch on the greasy side, but then I DID order pepperoni. Overall a very good pizza and I would go bacf for it without hesitation Service was very good. Attentive and helpful without being in-your-face. Decor and ambience fun. All of us- ranging from 6 to 40-something- left happy we had picked Pie in the Sky for lunch. Will be back.

Went for our second visit, first time was good, both service & pizza - this was just meh, service was ok, but slowish - pizza wasn't good at all & we tried 3 different ones...thin crust & traditional - toppings didn't taste good, crust was very doughy & didn't taste good at all...won't go back

Good pizza, good drinks, nice place to eat. Service can vary depending on how good your server is. Our server didn't ask what crust we wanted and we ended up with a thick crust when we wanted thin. Then the server acted like it was our fault and had an attitude the rest of the time we were there. We complained to the manger and I hope he took care of the matter.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was not super busy which was nice. The service was amazing and the food even better. Our order got mixed up which is understandable and even though we were willing to give them time to correct it they already had it taken care of. Not only did the fix the order but they gave a discount because of it. There are not many places that will admit a mistake and then go that far to fix it. The food was great and well worth the cost. We cannot wait to go back and try something else!

Definetly cool. I'll be a return customer. My first visit and was really impressed. There were 4 adults and 2 small kids in our party, ording a variety of appetizer, pizzas and sandwichs, and everyone seemed to be happy with their food and wait service. Our waiter was very attentive, helpful and enthusiastic about the food and beer selection.

I just wasn't impressed... With anything. The serving staff was cold and distant, the pizza was mediocre at best, and the gluten-free menu is a joke. My friend and I ordered the spiral cheese stick, and it was all right. There was a little too much garlic and way too little cheese, but it was edible. After that, we ordered a White Pie- a staple pie for us. We order it at every pizza place as a trial run. After fifty minutes of waiting, this tiny thing that was supposed to be our pizza came out. It was a sad, shriveled mess, and it tasted about the same as it looked: burnt and nasty. And then they wanted us to pay eight dollars for some apple pie! No, thank you. I will not be returning to this establishment.

3.5 stars = 3 for the food but 4 for the alcohol selection. The calamari is a hit and miss. First time (2 months ago), it was great. They were crispy, cooked but not chewy and pipping hot. This time (2 days ago), it was luke warm, sitll cripsy but very overcooked. It was rubbery like chewing gum. The salad was nothing out of this world = edible. Ordered a pizza with steak and mushroom (can't remember the name); it was good but missing steak. The crust had good taste. For the price, it was extremely overpriced. A small ("personal pizza") was $14! Outragous... The server was definitely nice and tentative.

We decided to eat here after reading all the good reviews. We went on a Sunday around noon so the place was pretty packed but we were seated quickly. The staff was very friendly and one thing I've never seen before is that they let the kids play with pizza dough while they wait for their food. Needless to say, my three year old had a blast playing with that stuff. We got a large pizza for three adults and one child. That was a perfect size...plus the pizza was pretty good. The only thing that turned me off was when we got our pizza it was literally drowning in grease. I understand that pizza is greasy but that was ridiculous. But to sum up my visit...I'll most likely be going back.

I think Pie in the Sky is my favorite eat-in pizza place. It had a few growing pains at first, with new servers and whatnot, but they've gotten past them. They have a lot of food options here beyond just pizza; but since I love pizza so much, I haven't actually tried them! They have a bunch of specialty pizzas (I recommend the shrimp scampi pizza or baja chicken. Beware of the white pizza, because it has WHOLE cloves of garlic and your breath will be terrible!), and then of course you can make your own. They have a great topping selection, WAY beyond normal the normal pepperoni, mushrooms, etc! They also have different sauces you can put on your pizza too! What I like best though, is the crust options! They have regular hand-tossed and thin, but they also have Ultra-Thin (which is thin crust with toppings all the way to the edges) which is my favorite. They also have gluten-free for those who need that (and I'm sure don't regularly get a lot of pizza in their diet)! The decor is very bright and energetic in the regular dining area and the bar area has a cool look to it too! I definitely recommend this place!

too heavy on the toppings. less is more toppings were overbearing, the italian sausage was...not appetizing. Love the environment, great beer selection, service was mediocre

The pizza was very good but I was disappointed with the outer crust. It was kind of toasty and a bit hard. Overall great pizza. I will go again.

My son and I went there because we got lost and couldn't find Pizza Inn. We love all kinds of Pizza and can appreciate everything from a gourmet brick oven pizza to Tombstone. We just love Pizza. That being said, this was pretty good. I am not much of a fan of using polenta in the prep process, but it was still good. The toppings were abundant and fresh. The cheese was nice and stringy and the cokes were kept flowing. It was a little greasy, but pepperoni can be like that. No harm/no foul. We walked over to the window to watch them make pizza and a waitress stopped and handed my son a blob of dough for some reason and walked away. That was weird. He kind of looked at me and set it down on the table and we went back to our table. We do wish our waitress wasn't all tatted up. Ergggg. Seriously? Will return. It was good pizza.

I'm a big fan! the four cheese calzone is delicious! There's something about the sauce that is unlike the big box, delivery places or PH. The ingredients just taste FRESH and the crust is NOT oily - unlike those other places. And the stuffed mushrooms are awesome - with a wee bit of a kick, but just the right amount to make you want to eat them all by yourself! Very cheesy, and just the right firmness. The only place I like better in Madison is Pizza Inn bc they have a buffet and aren't so expensive.

I give pie in the sky two thumbs and a big toe down!! Worse calzone i have ever had. The "spiral bread" was a U witj NO flavor. The kitchen staff lost the order for it too. Unfortanately they found it. The pizza we haf was nasty too and expensive!! A waste of $45. The i had to go get ice cream to get that horrible taste out of my mouth. I will not be back!!

Pie In The Sky did not really impress me. I ordered the happy family without sausage. The pizza crust itself was abundant, but disappointingly bland. I came away from this experience wishing that I had gone to Marco's. I'm not even a frequent patron of Marco's but I have had their pizza enough to know that their crust is so much better. As far as the "fresh toppings" go, I don't know how you can tell since they're all baked on to the pizza. I might try it again after they've had a little time to get settled in. Perhaps the new staff just does not know what they're doing yet? I'm rating this at three stars only because I can't do it at 2 1/2

Me and the wife went there. I must say it was very good. I got a pizza and my wife got club wrap, she took half of it home.I got a bacon, onion straw pizza with the whisky habanaro sauce which was good but it was way too hot for me. but that was my fault. The best part was the Blue pants strawberry beer if you like beer and strawberries than try it. sounds wierd but itwas tastey. They have a big menu and lots of choices we will be going back and Ashley the wait staff was great. They have Lots of beer on tap. 5 stars for the beer.

Pie in the sky! Finally went last night and will definitely be going back....soon! The decor is appealing with lots of TVs for the sports fan. The staff is friendly and attentive & they have 34 beers on tap. We got an appetizer of boneless chicken wings/bites. OMG! I think they are the best I have ever had. We got the garlic Parmesan & whiskey BBQ habanero. Both were beyond expectations. Then we got a pizza, can't remember the name, but basically a supreme. It was yummy as well. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a little expensive and the pizza dough/crust could be spiced up just a bit more so that it is more flavorful. Great place though in Madison.

Since we are from out of town we are looking for more quality over quantity... The price of the pizzas is a little on the high end, but if you split the check with some friends it makes it well worth it! We started out with the kalamari, it was nice and tasty but could've used a little bit more herb seasoning in the batter. It was nice appetizer though, enough for 3 people so long as you aren't starving... We had the spicy mexicana? (can't remember the exact name off the top of my head at this moment)? Or something like that and it was actually delicious! The spice on the meat was just right, and the jalapenos give it a nice kick! The sour cream give a little bit extra, but they could have used a lil bit more on top... we ordered it with the classic dough not the thin crust and it was cooked nicely! Also here is well it's a good selection of beers, about 30 + beers which was great to have with the Pizza, especially their little 2 ounce sample glasses. Definitely have to eat here again! Surprised more people actually haven't commented on this place as it is really good, too new? Well worth it in my opinion and I have eaten at a lot of Pizza parlors! Our waitress was excellent as well as she was really atentative, but some of the others workers seemed to talk a little too much, but I didn't pay that much attention to them anyways as I was too busy eating the delish food!

So me and the family were down by Target on 72 in Madison, and we just happened to catch this place on opening day. The decor is definitely more updated and modern than you see in most of the places around town. There is plenty of seating, and you can sit inside or outside. I know this place has beer, but as for liquor I have no idea. Not much of a drinker really. I do know they have a pretty large menu. Wings, appetizers, pasta, sandwiches, and of course pizza. There is a section near the kitchen where kids can sit and watch the pizza dough be tossed, and they can play with pizza dough themselves that is handed out by the kitchen free of charge (you can get a wad of dough at your table too). We had 2 appetizers, a pizza, and standard soft drinks. We would have gotten desert, but time did not permit. What I could see of them though, they looked good. The best part about this place is that everything appears to be quality. We ordered 2 appetizers, the bread sticks with the mozzarella in them and some stuffed mushrooms. The breadsticks were ok, nothing stellar. They were soft and chewy, but they didnt have much flavor. These could really use some garlic butter and a bit of parmesan on top, then they would be pretty good. The mushrooms though, they were fantastic. Probably among the best stuffed mushrooms I've had. The mushrooms themselves were small.. or regular sized really. Portions get skewed some when dealing with restaurants... But anyway, back on topic. These little delicious things were stuffed with a cheddar cheese and pieces of jalapeños and I think a small bit of bacon as well. They had a little kick to them, but not enough to overwhelm your average diner. Mushrooms, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, bacon.. all good stuff - but the real star is the breading. I'm a fan of unique things, and the pizza we had was good (get to that later), but the mushroom breading was what stood out the most to me. It is crunchy like a breadcrumb and beer batter type mixture, but is neither dry like a breadcrumb breading is, nor was it squishy on the inside like a beer batter. When I inquired about it to the waitress (great service by the way) she helpfully asked the chefs about it. Apparently its a mixture of seasonings, a particular type of flower, and pizza dough along with various seasonings. It all melded together so well. Probably one of the best things I've eaten in the Huntsville area. For our pizza we ordered the namesake Pizza, the Pie In The Sky Pizza. For the life of me I cannot remember everything that was on it. It was like the entirety of the kitchen rolled into a single pizza and delivered to my table. It had to weigh like 10 pounds. One slice of it was enough (especially after the appetizers) to be a meal in itself. To be totally honest though, there was probably too much going on here. It sounds like a good idea to order this for the experience, but really I think there are probably better pizzas on the menu. Too many conflicting flavors at play to feel like this was a cohesive pizza, rather than just something the owners decided to throw together to be massive. This is definitely something you eat with a fork. Don't get me wrong, it was more than edible. You can definitely get a large sample of their toppings from this pizza. The individual toppings tasted great, but all together I just couldn't see myself ordering this again. The dough was good and crispy at first, but under the heat and condensation it lost a lot of that as time went on. In fact there was so much condensation and grease off this thing that I wasn't sure it would make it to our house in the to-go box we had to get (3/4 of the pizza). I'm not saying it was a bad pizza at all. In fact, I would recommend this over a Dominos or Papa Johns any day, and since their prices are actually pretty competitive along those lines, you'd have to be crazy not to take that advice. What I am saying is, given another chance, I'd skip on this and choose something else. From what I did gather from this pizza, the toppings are top notch, the cheese is good, the sauce is OK, and the dough is good as well - so I'm sure a good pizza can come of this, just not in this massive form. It's too bad really. A namesake dish should be a flagship for the restaurant in my opinion. So as you can see from this review, I am a bit disappointed in the "Pie In The Sky" pizza, but I would like to try something else a bit more cohesive as a dish. The Stuffed mushrooms were the standout, and the breadsticks can use some work. All in all a good experience. Our service was friendly and attentive. There was an overall good vibe in this place. The food was good, and the decor was inviting. I will be back to this restaurant in the near future. Thanks for reading my wall of text.

So my husband and I went here on Saturday, May 5th for dinner. We did get there early (5:30-ish) so were able to get a seat pretty quickly...about a 10 minute wait. The decor reminds me of the Mellow Mushroom over in Providence, just not so psychedelic. My husband ordered wings and I ordered the personal size Margherita. The wings were apparently really good based on how fast my husband ate them. My pizza was really not that great...in fact, it actually didn't taste like anything at all. The crust tasted "foamy"...like it was made from frozen dough. I had to ask for some red sauce to put on the pizza just to get some kind of flavor. It took a good 20+ minutes for the food to come out. The waitress was pretty good and they did come clean the tables up, but overall I wasn't that impressed. I didn't even take the rest of the pizza with me since there was no sense in ingesting tasteless calories.

Great pizza and great service all five times we have been there. Only caveat is that the back room where large groups usually are seated can be quite noisy. Happy Family and Baja Chicken pizzas are particularly notable! Highly recommend, only problem you may have is getting a table during peak times, but it is worth it.

Today was my first experience with Pie in the Sky Pizzeria but I can't stress enough that if you are ordering pickup to ask for Kacey. I was very nicely greeted by name when she answered the call, c'mon people caller Id. The amazing thing was the reception that I received when I went in to pick up my pie. Again she greeted me by name and I was momentarily taken aback by that. I have to admit to a bit of big brother paranoia for a split second but (revealing my age here) I felt like Norm walking into Cheers. Kudos all the way around. On to the order. The Greek salad is my favorite so I couldn't pass the opportunity to order one here. It was very fresh and contained everything that one would expect with the exception of Kalamata olives instead of the usual black that you get in HSV. They concoct their own dressing and I found it to be a great accompaniment to the salad. As a Greek salad aficionado I'd give PiSP a five out of ten but as far as HSV goes, I'd up that to a nine. According to the pizza connoisseurs the only good pies come from NY and Chicago. Coming from the latter I can attest to that mentality to an extent. I tend to exclude those places from my assessments of local pies and so far HSV hasn't had much to offer. I was a bit surprised by the size of the crust roll on the pie that I received. Just like most people, I was thinking that more crust equals less toppings. This is generally true unless you are marketing a pie that counts the crust roll as a separate part of the pie. I found the topping covered crust to be not at all soggy and actually quite good for the amount of toppings. The crust roll is another thing entirely. That is what one would expect from a great pie, a bit tough, chewy, not at all burned, Something that is great for the sauce dipping crowd but still not something to be left on the plate by the remainder of us pizza loving people. I've heard from close friends that the service when dining in can be glacial slow. Please keep in mind that this is a Nashville company trying their first restaurant out of state, things can and should, take time to perfect. Just remember to ask for Kacey when you order pick up, she'll make you think that other order out restaurants are staffed by amateurs.

My dad & I tried Pie in the Sky this week, since we were nearby & it was lunchtime. We will DEFINATELY return! We started with the Sloppy Joe-Seppe Fries (their version of chili cheese fries). They were very tasty & had unique flavors that you don't usually find on chili cheese fries, like yellow mustard. We've big mustard fans, but it worked well. He had five of their BBQ Marmalade Jumbo wings. (They were much larger than normal wings.) He devoured them quickly. I had the small Margherita pizza. It was delicious! It was everything it should be from the tomatoes to the basil to the fresh mozzarella. We were full, but our waitress mentioned a dessert that we decided we HAD to try! It was the Cookie Dough a la Mode!!! Words could not do it justice, but I'll try. The base was a larger than normal, slightly baked, soft, warm chocolate chip cookie. It was topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, & chopped M&M's. It was truly the best dessert that I've had in years! The service was GREAT! I loved the modern, fun decor! We had Coke & tea - both with multiple refills without asking & even to go cups. The prices were very reasonable.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
