Super weak yet overpriced margaritas. Bland food. Easily the worst mex food I've had since moving to Huntsville.

Good food, I had the Hawian Quesadilla. Very good. It isn't an awesome place but you won't be disappointed either and sometimes... that's just right.

Not authentic at all. No flavor in anything. Salsa was bland. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas and I got a hot plate full of onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. Nice side plate of rice, beans, pico, sour cream and guacamole. And about a fork full of meat. My server barley spoke English which is normally a good sign for good Mexican food. I think he might have been acting now that I've had a taste. Restrooms were not very clean. On a good note my dr pepper was authentic. This might be a great spot if they changed their hours to when the bars close. Normally drunk people think everything taste great at 3 in the morning.

We found the drinks, food and service good. Luckily we live fairly close, so this will be our go to place for Mexican food. Also we found the prices were decent.

I think their food is great. I have been getting the pollo loco for years, and it has always been good. Recently they've started putting their refried beans in little hard tortilla bowls, which I don't particularly like. Their prices have gone up over the last few years, though it's cheaper is you go at lunchtime. Their seems to be a lot of inconsistency in the strength of their margaritas. Sometimes I'll get one and it is vary strong, but occasionally you can barely taste the tequila. They're still pretty good either way. They do trivia one night (I think Wednesday, but can't recall for sure), so if you don't like the louder atmosphere of trivia questions invading your dinner, you might want to avoid then. It doesn't seem like very good trivia, but I don't know a whole lot to compare to for that.

Was ok, have had better, meat was dry, coke was flat. Great service though. Loved the decorations a very beautiful and lively. I will go back and give another chance.

Ah the White House, you are fantastic. Is it Rosie's? No. But it isn't trying to be, so let's not judge it on the Rosie's standard. This is just plain good Mexican food without all the refined decor of Rosie's, and you know what? I like it. Here you will find solid food options and good, speedy service. The chips and salsa are house-made (a must) and are tasty. The chips are a little bit thicker than I would normally like, but still good. When I come here I generally start off with a Border Margarita. Don't miss out on this folks, it's only a dollar or two more than the house margarita but is miles better. These folks make the best margarita in town. For food, I like the grilled chicken nachos. Very simply chips, tons of white Mexican cheese (if Mexican cheese is the proper term, I'll let the cheese snobs decide) and nicely seasoned, tender chicken throughout. Uncomplicated and delicious. The simplicity of this dish may turn some off, but I think this is the example of what a nacho dish should be.

Nothing is special about this restaurant. The food is just like any other locally owned Mexican restaurant in Alabama.

(The Focus) Food and service (The Inspection) I usually come here with my friends about maybe once every other week. The service isn't all the best but not the worst I have seen. I have only had one problem with them(waited about 40 for someone to come and ask me if I wanted a drink but no one came) but other than that the service is ok. The food, is average, the owner and some of the staff are friendly, others are a bit shy or a bit laggy. I havent gotten a wrong order yet on their terms( I accidentally ordered something else than I usually do. When the waiter questioned me if that was what I wanted I told him I was sure. But I was wrong) (Final analysis) The foods ok, the staff is the same, the décor could use some touching up, but other than that, it's an ok restaurant. -The Inspector...

Ended up here at the end of an exasperated search for brunch on a Sunday in Alabama. The decor is blinding. The menu is large and has every item/combination that you could ever imagine. The service was extremely rushed- we were given about 30 seconds to determine our order and were checked on constantly in a rushing fashion. The food is extremely mediocre - no real flavor - just bland, melted, typical. Cheap drinks. I have to imagine there is better mexican in Huntsville and I plan to look for it at a food truck!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
