Great venue! Had the chance to see several plays here, in addition to Bill Cosby, a fantastic Bollywood show, and Annie Get Your Gun. I loved them all! If you ever get a chance to see Broadway Theatre League production, treat yourself, it's worth it!

Nice home show layout for the fall.

Went here for the Songwriter's Night last weekend and it was great. The VBC has lots of choices for space, and the dinner was setup backstage in a large concert hall. Food was good, service was good, room was a good setting for a group at a musical event. The Songwriter's Event was in a smaller theater and was terrific. The acoustics enabled us to hear the dialog as well as the music, and the performers were outstanding! This is a pretty unique event, and well worth attending if you want a great night out. The VBC staff are A-ok.

Huntsville isn't like the rest of Alabama. Thanks to the influx of German scientists who brought their culture with them when they arrived after the war, Huntsville developed quite the thriving performing arts community. That's not to say that Huntsville wouldn't have done it without the influx, but there's a reason that the largest performing arts venue in the city is named after that community leader. I've got so many happy memories from the VBC, starting primarily with seeing great shows at Fantasy Playhouse, then actually being in those shows, then ushering for the Broadway Theatre League in the Concert Hall, attending prom in the South Hall, graduating from high school in the Arena, and just a few weeks ago, picking up my number for the Cotton Row Run in the East Hall. The Center has been around for a while, but they maintain it well. There's lots of parking and lots of bathrooms. As you can tell from my list, they've got enough different kinds of spaces to host a plethora of events. There's always something to do and see here.

A living breathing giant. The VBC is CONSTANTLY under construction, but I've been so pleased with the remodels that I can't even complain about it. Huntsville is a growing city so I appreciate it when the public areas around town try to grow to accommodate the masses. I have yet to even see all of the parts of the VBC, but the arena, the large halls (plenty big for large conferences and art shows), and the orchestra hall are fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend visiting for a Huntsville Symphony Orchestra concert. The musicians are highly skilled and we really enjoy listening to them play.
