This little neighborhood bar is clean and well lit. It does get smokey at time, but there are currently no smoke free bars in south Huntsville. (Edit- There is Bandito South Side, but it's more restaurant than bar) I can't stress enough how clean this bar is. And it has plenty of televisions for watching the game with friends. The jukebox is Internet ready, so it's unlikely you'll find nothing to play. Just don't bother if the tvs are loud for the big game. The back game room has two pool tables, two PowerPutt games, a Golden Tee game and Silver Strike bowling. A dart board is being installed, but wasn't up on this visit. There are plenty of regulars and the feel is more neighborhood bar than sports lounge. There is always nice people in good conversations. Every bartender I've has has been top notch. Tonight's, Heather, knows her beers and prices and makes a great Kari Blue Eyez, the Hole's signature drink. If you're in South Huntsville and looking for a nice, clean, quite place for a drink, you won't find anyplace better than The 19th Hole.
