This restaurant was very disappointing. We went to it thinking they would have great knowledgeable waitstaff dressed as superheroes to excitedly serve my 5 year old. Instead my son spent the whole time waiting for the superheroes to come out while a non-enthusiastic waitress served our not amazing food dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. It could be so much better if they committed to the theme and actually had superheroes... Will not waste my time there again.

So, as it turns out, supper heroes isn't the type of restaurant where you can get served by superman. So what?! If it was, they wouldn't have burgers for $8.00 or be appealing to clientele other than people with five year old kids. I'm 23 and my guy and I love it there. It's a fun and upbeat atmosphere without being cheesy and played out. I like comics just as much as the next person, but getting served by someone dressed like batman seems silly to me. First of all costumes such as those are expensive and cumbersome. Finding someone who wants to work in a hot restaurant in a full-on Comic Book suit is probably going to be impossible. People should do their research before electing to go somewhere. I don't think it's fair to rate a restaurant based on that. But anyways... I love supper heroes. The food is great. The fries are AWESOME. The burgers are greasy and wonderful and reasonably priced. It's not disneyworld, but it's definitely family friendly and I've had nothing but wonderful service. And whenever I've gone there it is packed! So obviously there are many others out there who love it as much as I do!

Great family dining experience. We all tried something different and everything was awesome. It was difficult to decide what to try. Plenty of interesting menu options with something for everyone.

Excellent restaurant. Great service and food.. I just love the super hero concept! Makes me feel I am kid all over again. Amazing burgers and fries! It's short of 5 star cuz I wish they had a veggie burger option, which I absolutely love. But for most people this restaurant would fetch a 5 star. I have to mention the great service here again. Very friendly staff. !!

Great local restaurant with fast, friendly service and good food. Nice comic book theme throughout and inspired menu. No gluten free options though which is disappointing.

This place is ok....But I feel like I was expecting more for some reason.... My Burger was pretty good but my son had a hair in his burger.... And the red drink that they serve was kool-aid that wasn't sweet enough.

A local hole in the wall that that makes a great attempt at something creative and a little gauche. The badly painted windows had my young son amazed. He couldn't understand why he couldn't buy the little characters inside the display box. He immediately found the little play area and found it quit amusing. There was definitely diner level food but they made a good attempt at offering some hero themed meals. This place has a great idea and most geeky people will enjoy it for its niche theme. I would love to see some updates on hero type tables or some kind of superhero birthday. I would recommend it for something different on the way home from the city.

Dined on a Wednesday evening with coworkers. Overall, staff was informative and prompt, food was tastful, and value was high. The restaurant has around 15 for top tables, and only two where occupied when we arrived. The hostess/waitress/cashier quickly seated us, dropped menus, and brought water. The menu is actually made to look like a comic book. Kinda cool! The menu highlight was the many varieties of burgers (with choice of beef or chicken). The combinations are sure to please any pallet. Ask are priced at 7.99 with fries and slaw. I had the Mexican style burger, with chicken, and subbed fries for Mac and cheese. The decor of the restaurant is comprised of comic books on every way, some action figures scattered about, and themed tables. It reminded me of a perfect place for a comic book enthusiast to have a party/dinner. Our food arrived quick, and was flavorful. My meal resembled two chicken tacos with a cup of slaw and cup of mac and cheese. The taste was all good, but presentation left much to be desired. For the price i payed, the portion was a great value. I would come back with my kids to celebrate good grades or a birthday.

I absolutely love this place. Have been so many times I can't count. Every time the food is amazing and atmosphere great.

Great place to go, especially if you have younger children. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. Never a long wait for food and so far has always arrived fresh! I've had several items so far and they all tasted very good. Portion sizes for the price are very generous! You WILL leave full!

My family and I came here tonight and it was very tasty! I had chicken strips and my husband had a Mexican burger type thing and both were delicious! Will be back:)

Went with a friend and the food was amazing. I definitely will be going back and bringing more people with me to try it out. The atmosphere is great and the staff were extremely nice. I love local dining and this is rated at the top of my list.

What happens when two people, with a unique vision wanna create the best burger joint in the South East? You count your lucky stars that you live in Huntsville!!!!

Great deviled eggs Unique place with some really cool things on the menu - 4 different kinds of the best deviled eggs that I have ever had!! One is an avocado type, another is a cranberry/pecan... My chicken salad croissant was good..didn't much care for the waffle fries...but who can really compete with chick-fil-a when it comes to waffle fries? Another note, I have been a server and a mascot in high school - if you think your server should be dressed in costume then you are out of your mind!! And please tip your server at least 18%!!

We really love Supper Heroes! They have such a great concept with comic book themed menus. The burgers are so good. We each try to order a different one each time, and each time it becomes the new favorite. It is a rare feat for most restaurants to have so many items I really like, so to me, it is a winner! I haven't tried the salads or platters, so can't speak to them.

This place was awesome. The staff was very courteous and attentive, and the food was top notch. The atmosphere was great, with comic books and action figures adorning the walls. Definitely a place I'll be going back to.

the food was great, the menu was fun, not just a kids place, it is great for the whole family. I would recommend to anyone who likes burgers and just good food.

Decided to make the small trek from S Huntsville because I was definitely intrigued by the idea of a comic book themed restaurant. The place is moderately cramped and was a bit chaotic. The combination of the close proximity of the other diners (about a 3/4 full restaurant for Sunday lunch) and upbeat music, it was a bit noisy for my taste. On to the more important stuff, though: the food. We started with the fried pickles and I had high hopes based on other reviews. They did not disappoint, nor exceed expectations. The consistency was really right on them. Barely greasy, the breading stayed attached nicely, and while salty and seasoned with Cajun spices, the dill taste really shined through. For my meal, I got the rise and shine sandwich. The egg was plentiful and well cooked, the bacon was crispy and had full flavor, and the cheese was nice and melty. I chose this sandwich partially because I wanted the sour dough bread... It was so overly buttered that it was soggy instead of crisp and toasted and tasted, well, like butter. Also, while admittedly my own fault, I overlooked the 'dressed with' section and did not realize mayo was a standard condiment. There was a lot of mayo. A lot. It wouldn't be my first choice for a while, but I'd certainly go again... To try the salad that comes in the edible bowl that looked really tasty on the other diner's tables.

OMG!!! The food is delicious, service is awesome and the atmosphere is uplifting. The menus are laid out like a comic book with creative names and food that matches this creativity, no boring food here. I had the cowpoke, family had moms house and bat out of hell. We couldn't resist sampling each others food. All three items where over the top delicious. While savoring every tasty bite I took in the comic book decor and the children in their favorite superhero costumes, adorable. I wished I would have gotten a chance to tell the owners that they need to open another restaurant closer to Madison! :)

Different and entertaining for the kids. Food was good and reasonably priced. Our waiter, Gabe, was super nice and knowledgable about the menu and obviously enthusiastic about the place. He shared pictures of him in costume and encouraged us to come back on a costume day. My kids thought he was great. We will go back.

I just went here for the first time the other day, and I loved it! I had a burger, it was the best burger I've had in a really long time, and the fries were obviously super fresh. I also loved the décor and the staff were really awesome. I will go back.

I enjoyed this restaurant very much. The waffle fries were fresh and delicious, and the slaw is some of the best ever, if you like it with a little kick in it. My burger was flavorful and juicy. The waiting staff was very nice, and even the cook and the owner came out to talk and ask us about our experience. The atmosphere is terrific. They even had the Incredible Hulk playing in the background on television. And the menu itself is an adventure to read. I really liked their menu. My only regret is they are one of a series of restaurants participating in this trend of being closed on Mondays. I really wish restaurants would simply hire enough staff so they can be open seven days a week.

in a word......YUMMY!!!!! went tonight with my husband, son, and mom.....kiddo had the USED CAR SALESMAN (traditional cheeseburger).....i had THE BEATDOWN (cheeseburger with blue cheese, grilled onions, and dijon sauce on an onion roll).....my mom had the SOUTHERN FISH AND CHIPS (fish filet on cornbread with fried green tomato and spicy slaw)....and the hubs had THE BAT OUT OF HELL (bacon wrapped meatloaf sandwich)....it was all DELICIOUS!!! all were served with spicy waffle fries and spicy slaw....also very good....moderately priced, family friendly, fun atmosphere.....will be adding this one to the regular rotation....can't wait to go back!!! the music was great, a good movie playing, and the service was friendly. it never occurred to me to expect the waitstaff to be dressed as superheroes, and i didn't miss it at all!!! everyone was having a great time and enjoying good food!

My family and I came in for a few days to Huntsville and while looking for some local places we kind of stumbled on this place. First thing is that if you love comics and super heroes you have to check it out just for that. Secondly the place while not something that screams out at you from the road, once inside you have super friendly staff and a vibe that is very down to earth and easy going. Lastly and the most importantly, the food rocked. Sure it may not be the fanciest but the meal we had was way tasty! Burgers are great and loved the devil eggs as an app. Local or out of towner, "True Believers" need to come to this place and have a great time and great grub!

3rd time here. Have yet to try something I don't like. The fried pickles are amazing. The fungus among us is my favorite burger so far. Though the rest were amazing too. The coleslaw is not your typical coleslaw, it has horseradish and a kick. The burgers are pretty unique. Also if you love super heroes, you'll love the decor. Staff is always friendly and quick.

Delicious! This place delivers EVERYTHING you could ask for in an independently owned restaurant-- cool atmosphere, quick service, friendly staff & most importantly, absolutely exquisite food! Family friendly & extremely affordable, Supper Heroes is the best choice in the area & beats Sonic, McDonald's, Burger King & the others like a masked vigilante in the night. Try it. You won't regret it for a moment.

Maybe the best burgers in Huntsville. Definitely some interesting choices. No alcohol and kid friendly. I'm not a fan of the slaw, but that's personal taste (I just don't like spicy slaw anywhere). They will change a burger to a chicken sandwich if you prefer, and sometimes that is even better (though sometimes not, just experiment). Be warned: small dining area, so if the lot is full you might be in for a wait.
