I loved how the waiter folded the top of my takeout bag.

It was pretty good. The fried rice was good and the meat dumplings were ok. First time in about 3 years but pretty good food.

This week was my first time back to Changs since they had an overhaul in management some months ago. It's still basically the same chain as before but now maybe slightly more evident that it is indeed owned by a private equity firm. For instance, your chop sticks are already at the table with you. No more asking. The "special" three sauce service disappeared as did about half the drink menu. This isn't all bad, but some of the finer points of efficiency are still lost; they have yet to heat the water for hot tea appropriately before bringing it out. The menu has more upside than the slimmer drink list, however. There's still a lot of the same Changs things--salt and pepper shrimp, Singapore street noodles, basic American Chinese fair. But now there's an expansion of non traditional items and a few slight modifications as well. The lobster rice is one of a number of new editions to the menu that actually is a very welcome change. It used to be crab rice which I always thought was lacking... something. Not all of the new editions and mods work out... but that's to be expected. For example, the "new" version of the Hunan hot fish, however, is a sauce-heavy shadow of its former self. There are still plenty of items for people to enjoy here. If you're a fan of American Chinese, it's still a good spot. However, the finer points and draws are missing for me. But that's fine, too.

PF Chang is always consistent where ever you find one. I enjoyed a nice meal at a slightly elevated price but still reasonable. The bar area is dark with plenty of seating options but if you are watching a game above the bar and you are sitting in a booth the center high top tables will block your view if occupied. Did I mention it's dark? Perfect for a date if you don't want your husband or wife to find you. It's seat yourself in the bar area but 7 servers passes me without acknowledging me. Finally I asked one and another server soon appeared. Very nice girl but referred to me as Hon, Sweetie, dear, and babe, not Dr Awesome which is my true pet name. After the order it was all broiler plate food comes out great timing and a good time was had by all.

I am admittedly shocked at how good this chain restaurant is...Not usually my cup of tea but I was pleasantly surprised. My dinner mate and I shared the lettuce wraps and the crab wontons. Both were on the happy hour menu, where they did not skimp on portion sizes. The wontons were some of the crabbiest I've had and I don't mean their mood. =) The lettuce wrap filling had a great crunch (water chestnuts, I believe), even though not what I expected, very tasty and mild. They only provide 4 lettuce 'cups' though, which proved to be not enough. I ordered the Pad Thai (if you've read my other reviews, I really like Pad Thai). I have now tried all other Pad Thais offered in Huntsville and, again shocked, this is my favorite. The noodles were perfectly cooked, one of my main complaints, and it wasn't overly sweet. It also had a really good amount/size of fillings (tofu, chicken, egg, cilantro). I'm also very pleased with the wine selection and prices.

Terrible! The wait time was 35 minutes, but the food was 50! Our waitress Brie was incompetent and rude. I know she did not put our order in. She completely forgot about our table, no refills and brought out 2 different appetizers, after we received our original order from a food runner. We spoke to the manager, who finally brought us our food. She never came back to the table, except to bring the bill...bad service and attitude. She didnt have that many tables and the ones she did all got their food before us....she forgot to eneter our order.

The good points here do outweigh the negative. The hostess was wonderfully friendly. Our waiter was very good. My Wonton Soup was very good, as was our hot tea. The Fried Green Bean appetizer was a bit too spicy hot for our taste, but we ate it all. I give it three and a half. Our desserts were special and very good. I might have said excellent, had a drop of chocolate syrup not dripped on my shirt. I suppose I should have been more careful (or worn my napkin?). I found most of the music selection a little annoying, but it wasn't loud. That's a two. My wife's water glass had a jagged broken base that was a finger safety hazard. That's a two. She told the waiter to destroy it, and he took it and promptly brought her a good one. We had a lit candle on our table. That's a nice touch, especially as the overhead light was dim at happy hour. This oversize candle was a little TOO bright, however. I give it a three. I was considering blocking the direct candle light from my eyes by draping a napkin over our teapot handle! We left warmed, filled, and happy.

Stopped in after a movie. The team of hosts quickly seated our party and our waitress came shortly thereafter. Not sure if this is normal but the waitress took our IDs when we ordered beer and closely scrutinized and wrote down the expiration dates, kind of weird but ok. The food was good and atmosphere pleasant for a chain restaurant. I would go again if given the opportunity.

Tonight's fare looked and tasted good, but the temps were off: my Ahi was over-seared (and warm in the center), while my fried green beans were actually cold. I brought this to the staff's attention and they offered to replace - we were in a hurry and let it go. The manager comp'ed the special and dessert!

I've now eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time it was generally OK, but nothing special - I really expected something more from a popular, sort of upscale chain. I've eaten at P.F. Chang's restaurants elsewhere, and they were just fine, but this one is not so good. The most recent and last time (I emphasize last) I ate here with my wife, kids, and mother-in-law (total of 6) on a Sunday afternoon. The service was really very poor - it took 45 minutes for our order to arrive. After several of the tables that had been seated well after we ordered received their food, I registered a complaint with the manager, who didn't really have much to say other than that they were having trouble getting our food out. The food itself was just mediocre; it was OK, but not great. For one of the dishes the chicken was really rubbery and ill-textured -- like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. As we completed our meal and were waiting for the check, the server brought out several additional plates of food that we didn't order, and told me that the manager thought that we might like to try some of their other dishes, on-the-house. I felt like this was a paltry attempt to make up some ground, and really rather stupid, since we had our coats on. I won't be back, and I would not recommend this place.

Our meal was amazing, wonderful and delicious! However, our server (DJ) was the best part of the meal. He was very polite and attentive. Plus, his sauce he made complemented all our dishes we had. Probably one of the best severs that has ever waiting on me. We truly enjoyed our evening.

A few weeks ago i had a particular craving that needed satisfying but since the menu is so abundant i had asked my server John H. what he thought i might enjoy with a particular glass of wine. Once we arrived at a solid conclusion, my meal had been delivered and devoured... The meal was great. But the reason i am leaving a review is because I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, and attention to detail that my server John had brought to the table. Keep up the good work John and Christine :)

Was initially a wait of 5-10 minutes but we ended up being seated in 5. The server sat us at the table closest to entrance near high traffic and uncomfortable lighting. There were 7-8 other tables that were vacant. When we asked to move she stated that we'd need to be placed back on the wait list. There were only 2 other parties of 2 waiting now. We decided to leave without giving our business and a nice tip (my husband enjoys tipping generously). Now we decided to walk - in at Monaco for the Prive dinner and movie and we are glad we did this instead. Not sure if we'll return to PF Chang's. Didnt feel very welcomed or cared for even after we decided to walk-out.

I visited this place for the first time and was expecting it to be a nice place to dine but it was a complete disappointment. The host at the lobby was weird and not at all welcoming. It was initial wait of 15-20mins and later almost 30 mins wait for the food to arrive. We felt completely ignored. The food was okay. I won't be stepping this place again.

Visited this PF Chang because we love their food and prices -- and were here at Bridge street for couple days looking around, after an interview at NASA. Looking at moving from DC area and wanted see what Huntsville had to offer...and loved it! This PF Chang was what I expected and more --- we eat at the chain a few times a year and love it in Northern Virginia and this one did the trick for a fix! Not sure if ours had same happy hour special or not, since we usually don't go to happy hour --- but since we left kids at home for trip -- got to go. Prices on drinks and appetizers were great. And the appetizers were same size as regular, like the mega filling chicken lettuce wraps --- just like 40% less cost! I let my eyes get ahead of me and got 3 appetizers to go with my 2 beers -- and couldn't eat it all. I think we had one dinner, 3 appetizers, 2 margaritas and 2 beers for like 40$! Insanely good deal on great stuff~! And our waitress was very nice and as friendly as everyone else we met in Alabama -- hoping it works out and we can move down and join your great city!

I had not eaten at this restaurant in years, but I was so pleasantly surprised ! The parking lot for the shopping mall may be packed but the restaurant was not crowded. I sat at the bar and had a friendly knowledgable bartender named Jason. He gave great suggestions on the happy hour menu. The crab wontons are made in house with real crab....delicious . Also the chicken satay has spicy peanut sauce which is totally yummy. The Kung pao chicken tacos are spicy and crunchy with jicama ...awesome. Jason's suggested the Mai tai that is fruity and not too sweet..a tasty alcoholic treat :) The Happy Hour menu ..is great and very affordable !!!! Come alone or with friends...and enjoy

We called and was ensured we could have a dog in the outdoor patio... Once there, we were mockingly turned away (as in woof woof no). So happy to take our business next door to a more welcoming establishment among many in this mall. I don't think I can ever step into another PF. Chang's...

My husband and I stopped here while staying in Huntsville for an extended business trip. For our appetizer we tried the crab stuffed wontons which were delicious. We ordered the pad Thai and Kung pao chicken for our meals and both were very good! For a chain restaurant we were both impressed. The service was very good as well.

One of my roommates from college was of Indian heritage, and the Chinese restaurants around campus were always trying to hire him because he had brown skin and kind of looked the part, assuming customers were willing to squint and use their imagination. P.F. Chang's, on the other hand, doesn't even put forth this token level of effort. If you're interested in slow service, bland food and absolutely nothing that resembles an authentic Asian dining experience, this place may be just what you're looking for.

I'm a firm believer that PF Changs is just about the best mid-level chain in the country. More specifically, the Mongolian Beef is the best chain dish. PF Changs, though never authentic, will always have a special place in my heart as solid, tasty Asian food. I've been to this PF Changs several times over several years, always at the bar area as a solo traveler. Service is always spot on and great, and my most recent visit was probably the best of all. Unfortunately, the food portion was disappointing by PF Changs standards. This time, I had a Pear Mojito, which is always tasty and strong, even during happy hour. For dinner, I got the Beef a la Sichuan, extra spicy. Having never had this dish before, I kind of wish I had ordered something else. It was good, but (a) wasn't all that spicy, despite being a Sichuan dish ordered extra spicy, and (b) it was largely veggie filler with less meat than I'm used to. I'm gonna chock it up to a poor choice on my part, not a general reflection on the restaurant, but I can't be certain. I got some dessert as a birthday treat to myself - Chocolate Dome, a flourless chocolate cake in dome shape. They were hella creative with the name, I know. It came with some fresh fruit and some raspberry sauce, on the side (at least in my carryout). The cake itself was small and not great...moist but wasn't terribly chocolatey. The raspberry sauce was artificial tasting and absolutely horrible, so I'm glad it was on the side. I still love PF Changs and have had great experiences at this specific location, so I'll just hope it was a one-off negative experience. Again, service and drinks were phenomenal, which helped offset the disappointing food.

I ordered take out and it was lousy. I am in town for only a few days and thought I couldn't go wrong with one of my favorite chain restaurants. I was wrong. Fore take out Chinese, PF Changs cost double when compared to regular take out. I am okay with this because usually their quality is very high. I had crispy honey chicken and the breading was soft and chewy. My rice had stay bits of uncooked pieces that were very surprising. I should of taken a chance on a local place.

This was by far the worst PF Changs I have ever been to. We ended up choosing to get a to go order as there was a 2 1/2 hour wait with no tables turning overs. No people waiting in the takeout area and we chose the usuals - lettuce wraps, calamari, bam bam shrimp and Mongolian beef. With the exception of the beef the others were so off they were thrown in the trash. The shrimp were so mayonnaise-y it was disgusting. There were such mushy mushrooms in the lettuce wraps I almost thought there was eggplant in them and my son actually spit it out. The restaurant was clean and typical in design, but after 40 minutes waiting for our to go order they mumbled that the rubbery calamari had been messed up and then even forgot the fortune cookies. Sad sad experience.

I hate this chain...not only is the food bad but so is the service! We came here because the whole family was in town and my cousin who lives in Canada turned 21 (the drinking age is 19) and we wanted to celebrate now his age to drink around the world well US was pretty much the last place. Anyways he had his passport and everything but they weren't allowed to serve him alcohol? Um excuse me why? What else should he bring for identity if a passport isn't enough? A social security card or gym pass? You can fly around the world with a passport but you can't order alcohol in Alabama if your from the states? That's bullshit because he also lived in Alabama when he was younger too! What a damper on our night! We had a lot of problems because of this even my aunt who had 4 kids and is in her late 30's couldn't order -__- Anyways the food it didn't really mattered what we ordered all of it was OVER SALTY! Probably the most over salted food I've had in my years of living -__- Sad to say but I'd rather stick to panda express or pick up stix

So we finally ventured to the famous P.F. Changs and it was everthing everyone had said and then some. The service was friendly and the food was awesome. I dont know what took us so long to visit one of these, but it wont be the last. The only thing negative I have to say was the lighting. Could have been a little brighter. But you know you have a great restaurant when the only thing I can complain about it the lighting, lol. Great place, if your in town and need a place to eat, stop here and get some great food.

Most of my regular readers know I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but I have dined at several P.F. Chang's in the Atlanta area and I recently attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at the one in Huntsville, AL. The outdoor deck area is a beautiful place to host a dinner for a large party, and the service, while initially scattered, finally began to cohere later in the evening. Dinner began with an assortment of appetizers, served buffet-style, along with platters of crispy fried green beans that were delivered to each table. Unfortunately, having been recently diagnosed with a gluten allergy, I was unable to partake in the buffet. Even though some of the items were gluten free, all dishes had been cooked in the same woks, so I got the opportunity to sample the gluten free menu now offered by all P.F. Chang's restaurants. I started with a cup of the egg drop soup, which our kindly server brought to me with a heaping bowl of fried things, apparently served with the soup. (They're not wontons, but I don't know the name of these little fried dough bits.) Regardless, being on a strict gluten free diet, I knew I could not eat them. When I pointed this out to our server, she stammered, moved them further away from me and said, "Don't eat them then!" Point taken. The soup was okay, but definitely on the bland side, and needed a bit more salt. Since soy sauce substitutes for salt shakers at P.F. Chang's, I asked for a bowl of gluten free soy sauce. Well, actually, my husband requested it on my behalf, and was told in no uncertain terms that all the soy sauce at P.F. Chang's is gluten free. Um, no. We persisted, and she went off in a huff to check with her manager. A few minutes later, she was back, chagrined and bearing two small bowls of their gluten free sauces. Once the entrees were delivered to the buffet, I ordered my main course, the Singapore street noodles. This dish is a mix of shrimp, chicken, and vegetables stir-fried with rice noodles. It came to our table and looked appetizing, but I could only find a few pieces of shrimp. Even so, I began to eat, and had taken no more than a few bites, when my fork speared a wilted, but very recognizable, crispy fried green bean, coated in batter and definitely NOT gluten free. So I stopped eating, and when our server appeared to check on our meals, I showed her what had happened. She immediately took the dish, offered her apologies, and promised to bring me another dish on the house. In the meantime, my fellow diners were enjoying the buffet. Dishes receiving the highest marks were the chicken lettuce wraps and the spicy chicken. (Which, according to my husband, was not spicy at all.) The drink orders were also a disappointment. The frozen margaritas were too sweet, and my husband didn't even finish his vodka and club soda. He said, "something just tastes off." So we stuck with water for the remainder of the night. Within ten minutes, my server was back with round two of the Singapore street noodles. This time, the dish was piping hot, fresh from the wok, and full of big juicy shrimp. Delicious! Again, I dug into my bowl of noodles, even sharing some with my husband. But lo and behold, I spied something bright blue on my fork. Turns out, a piece of a broken rubber band had somehow made it into my dish. Something was definitely off in the kitchen that Friday night. It happens. I decided not to make a big deal out of it, but then the manager came over to check on me. So I showed her the rubber band. She apologized profusely, offered to comp my entire meal, including the soup, and also brought out a complimentary gluten free dessert - the sinfully decadent flour-less chocolate dome - along with everyone else's desserts. Bottom line, the food at P.F. Chang's is okay, but pricey. Portions are huge, though, and leftovers can make several additional meals if you enjoy this type of cuisine. But the service at P.F. Chang's is to be commended for their valiant efforts to ensure I got enough to eat at their restaurant. Even so, I've had much better Chinese food elsewhere, and I likely won't be back any time soon.

P. F. Chang's China Bistro has a fairly wide menu and the portions are very large. Plan on sharing with a friend or bringing home a doggy bag. I LOVE that they offer brown rice in addition to the usual white rice. Service was a bit slow, but I was at the bar and they were pretty busy back there.

I usually don't write reviews for chain restaurants...but I just had to for this particular one. I was visiting my sister and her family and it was in between my nephew and niece's birthdays(turning 12 and 13). I wanted to take them someplace nice and they wanted Chinese food so PF Chang's won by default. There was a 15 minute wait for lunch which I thought was a little surprising but no problem. After we were seated and I got the time to check the place out it was exactly what you think it would be. Huge, spacious, dark and moody...and corporate...which is usually not my style. Cookie cutter waiters and manufactured experiences. Well...not exactly. I was so pleasantly surprised by our experience here. First of all our waitress (I am kicking myself for not getting her name) was so fantastic! She was personable, professional and kind. They have really nice lunch specials that are at a very affordable price. And my favorite part was the little dessert shots they have. They come in a wide variety and are a perfect amount of sweet at the end of a good meal. All said and done the bill was around $65 for 2 appetizers, 4 meals, 4 drinks and 4 desserts with tax. For a quality meal that tasted delicious and wonderful service. No complaints here. I love when I go into a place with a certain expectation and then leave with a whole new perspective. Thanks to all who work here for such a nice experience. We will be back.

I've been to PF Chang's a few times, and the food is really good. The service I've had has always been excellent, and the amount of food you get for your money is decent. Keep in mind that the cheaper lunch menu is based of items in the rest of the menu, and you get less food. It's still enough to fill you up though. It feels pretty upscale, and the dimly-lit interior with the soft music add to this atmosphere. Don't go there without at least a polo shirt. Khaki's preferred, but not required.

3 1/2 stars I came here for lunch during the work week. It was really packed and so it took a very long time for our group of seven to be seated, served and out the door. From the time we sat down, it was close to an hour and a half before we were able to pay the check and leave. It's not really feasible for a work lunch if you're on a tight schedule. Aside from duration, the experience itself was okay. The food is decent but not very authentic (surprise, surprise) and a little pricey. Our table ordered lettuce wraps that were tasty. Most people ordered a lunch bowl which consists of a moderate portion of the entree with a scoop of white or brown rice. Satisfying but nothing memorable. Lunch bowls are $7.50 to $9.50 and include soup. They also serve their full dinner menu at lunch.

Super good staff, clean, and delicious food! Our server was awesome! She checked on us the appropriate amount of times and when we asked for a drink recommendation she asked what kind I usually like and made a recommendation from there. Not just trying to sell me on the most expensive thing. Food was perfect! Proportions were great! Restaurant had an elegant romantic feel which we appreciated!

The menu says "rolled to order" spicy Tuna roll. I asked for brown rice and they refused fairly abruptly. So, apparently not really rolled to order. Customer service has gone out the window.

I love this restaurant, but this last time when I went the service was not so great! It was around 3:00 in the afternoon. First off, she did not make her special sauce for our food, forgot some of our order, and was not very attentive to how we were doing. However, she was doing a lot of stuff it seemed even though the business was not busy at all. I ordered the hot and sour soup, vegetarian lettuce wraps, and a cup of rice. It was quite delicious except the rice was really dry and kind of hard. Overall, good food but bad service. I really love their hot and sour soup! I will go back, but maybe during a regular dinner/lunch hour to receive better service.

Like this place a lot, although I rarely seem to crave Asian food. I've only ever experienced good service at PF Chang's. We are attended to quickly and the servers are kind. I like that the light isn't so bright (some people may hate that it's a little darker atmosphere), makes a dinner more intimate/cozy to me. I can't say I've ever had their dessert, but their adult beverages and entrees are full of flavor and priced fairly.

Your typical chained restaurant. It's not authentic Chinese, but the food is still flavorful and edible. The service is spotty and slow around crunch time. Nothing fancy, but one of the better food options around Bridgestreet.

It's 6:15pm on a Monday evening. How do you RUN OUT of pork dumplings? Well, that's what this location did. Went to grab a bite after work, thought that pork dumplings and pepper steak sounded real good and where else but PF Changs. Apparently, I was mistaken.

For what it is (over-hyped chain restaurant Americanized Chinese food), PF Chang's is pretty good. The service is decent and the interior is well kept. My husband and I made reservations and when we got there on time, we were informed that our reservations had been lost. An interesting concept considering we had made said reservations online and called to confirm an hour before. We couldn't be annoyed though - no one else in our party had shown up and they got us a table as soon as they could. The 'PF Chang's For Two' menu is a fantastic choice if you have two very hungry people or 3-4 kind of hungry people.

They no longer serve duck or lamb - my fav dishes - Chengdu lamb was great, so was their crispy duck. :(

Stopped by here while in town for business. Had a great waiter, Sean. Very attentive and friendly. He suggested the kung-pao chicken for lunch. Also order egg drop soup to complete the lunch special. Was the chicken good? Yes. Was the meal worth $10? No. I know this chain is well known for its large portions, but lunch is a different story. I just didn't have a whole lot of chicken and that was disappointing. I did get a great dessert. Something like a peanut butter chocolate cake. About $3 and really tasty. Had a nice lunch, but I would sooner go to a more casual Chinese restaurant for more bang for my buck.

Fantastic meal and great service. Try the Mongolian Beef, it is amazing. Also, the bowl of soup will feed a family of four. Best thing, however is their customer service. We misplaced a gift card at Christmas, the manager worked with us to identify the card, cancel it and reissue a new one. He went above and beyond and did not need too. More places need to follow suit in taking care of their customers!

Well...it is better than Panda Express for twice the price. Mediocre food at a snail's pace...never again.

Food was decent, fairly large portions that can be easily shared. The quality of food was comparable to any other fast food Chinese restaurant. Level of service was fine, friendly and kept my drink filled. But it took nearly an hour to prepare three dishes of what was essentially fried rice. I think the sauces are a waste of time and not really good. The atmosphere is very dark, what I think is to hide a not so clean environment, our table was sticky.

I really enjoy PF Changs. Yes, it can get a little pricey, but the dinner for two option is pretty reasonable for all the food you get. I love the changs spicey chicken and the mongolian beef. I also really love the shrimp dish with the melon. It sounds crazy, but it tastes delicious. My favorite appetizer is the lettuce wraps (those are a staple for us). I've had a few issues with hostesses in the past (like being passed up for a table even after making a reservation) but the servers have always made up for that. If something gets messed up with your order they are always happy to fix it and with a smile. I like that each server makes their own special sauce, but of course you can adjust it if you wish. The very best concept they have is the shot glass desserts. What an amazing idea. I almost always pass up dessert at most places because after your meal it's nearly impossible to eat one of their huge desserts. I never really need an entire wall of chocolate, gross. But Changs has 10 or 12 (can't remember the exact number) tiny desserts that are severed in tall shot glasses. They are the perfect size for a little something sweet at the end of your meal. They have tiramisu, red velvet cake, carrot cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and several others I can never remember (tiramisu and red velvet are my favorites). This restaurant is hit or miss with most reviewers, but I can't help but love it.
Tonite was our second visit & it was great as always - I have to laugh when I read some of the reviews - of course it's not 'real' Chinese, neither are most Chinese restaurants (Panda express? Seriously?) this is more Chinese fusion & it's tasty & well prepared - it's a well run chain & we've had good service, both in the restaurant & in the bar tonite - hubby ordered a dish that was too spicy for him, tasted great, just too much - not a problem, he got a new dish...restaurant is clean, food is good & even creative...you won't find rare Ahi on any Chinese rest menu! :-) we always go early & never have an issue getting seated in more than 5 minutes

This chain restaurant is surprisingly enjoyable. I didn't have high hopes originally, but was glad to be wrong. I have visited P.F. Changs several times, at both lunch and dinner and been happy with each visit. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is very nice and the food is delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken with black bean sauce and I could eat their brown rice by the bowlful. The pan friend dumplings are simply great. I always look forward to a visit here!

With a high-dollar Chinese restaurant, I was hoping for authentic Chinese food. Sadly, it's just over-priced strip-mall Chinese. Price is not consistent with the quality of the food, and ultimately if you want good Chinese I would recommend Fulin's in Decatur over this restaurant for good Asian food, Ding How II's Saturday dim sum, or Mei Wei. If you just want a pricey mediocre American-Chinese restaurant, go here. Chang's, if you're listening, serve actual Chinese dishes. People would like it and it would be cheaper. Oh, and don't skin the eggplant, that just turns it into texture-less snot.

I've always been a fan of P.F. Changs. Chinese (yes I know American Chinese) food is my favorite. I have never had a bad experience with a server, they've always been awesome when I've been. Especially on special events (like birthdays), they always make a big deal. I will point out an issue my parents have had. I'm not sure of the methodology they use for seating people on busy nights (walk-ins vs. reservations), but the majority of the time after waiting a while, they'll walk back and find a plethora of empty tables. The hosts/hostesses have now learned to implement use of the curtain behind them (I'm positive it's only purpose is to hide the emptiness of the restaurant to waiting diners, why else would it be there?) but you could always just seat more people, just saying. (I am aware that you don't seat large numbers of people at once so as not to overwhelm the servers, but come on figure out the balance) Food wise I love pretty much everything I've had here (even spicy stuff, which is a testament since I'm a well known weenie when it comes to spicy foods). I like the lettuce wraps (duh!), the crispy honey chicken or shrimp, and the pepper steak. Other good choices are the potstickers (dumplings, whatever!), Chang's Spicy Chicken, and any of the fried rices. The sweet treats (I think that's what they're called, the small desserts) are also a great option if you love sweets (like me!) but don't want to over do it after a meal of not so healthy Chinese food!

You've got your hole-in-the-wall American-Chinese food, and then there's P.F. Chang's, which proclaims its presence with a pair of giant horse statues flanking the entrance. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and filled with tables. The light is dim and does a good job of shrinking the space once you are seated, affording a sense of intimacy that would be lost in bright fluorescents. The servers are fun and engaging, each one mixing up their own sauce concoction from the selection of condiments at the table (I like to ask them how they came up with their sauce and what they like about it). Each section on the menu is pretty extensive, and the servers can offer some good recommendations (a particular gem was the crispy green beans as an appetizer, and I echo the suggestion). A word of warning: the bowl orders pack an enormous amount of food, so plan to share or take a significant portion home. A full order of fried rice or bowl of soup fall into this category. Also, their hot & sour soup is a bit different--I'd been familiar with a thin, spicy broth with perhaps some tofu and a pepper tossed in, but this is chock full of interesting and unknown goodies. It's not at all bad, but it was a little surprising at first (and I was eating it for several days thereafter since I ordered the bowl). I've mainly been with small groups, and while a bigger party could likely be accommodated, it seems to be more directed to groups of 2-6 diners. There's also a full bar to the left as you walk in, with seating at the bar and some tables.

Yes, I was in Alabama a couple months ago... My aunt and her family insisted on this "Chinese Bistro" How I justify my 3 stars... It's pretty consistent with other PF Chang's (have gone to several) but nothing over the top spectacular except the family I was with. Cleanliness - 4 stars --- when a bathroom is well maintained, rule of thumb: the kitchen likely is as well. Service - 3 stars --- ok, but nothing to skip and jump over. Food quality - 3 stars --- we ordered several dishes, some were good, some kinda blah. Generous (bland)chicken but not generous with prawns at all. Too Americanized and overpriced for lots of fluff. I like going to Chinese restaurants that Chinese people actually go to. That's generally a good sign. "Even in Alabama," there's a Chinese community. None were eating here though. If you're really really craving Orange chicken, go to Panda Express.

In general, I avoid chain restaurants. I do like this one though. The service is good and the food is predictable and consistent. I like their lettuce wraps and calamari for apps. As for the man dish, pretty much everything is good, not great but good enough to give it a try.

We ordered take-out. The food was great ,as always, but the service was less than desirable. I was told the wait should be about ten minutes. Twenty five minutes later, and after hearing all the employees gathered to sing "Happy Birthday" across the room, I walked up to the unmanned register. An employee/hostess came by and asked if I would like to place an order. I told her that I was actually waiting on an order. She asked if my order was for the dynamite shrimp, then turned to the counter behind her to get our food. It had been sitting there the whole time. The food had actually made it out within a minute of placing the order. Which, can also be disturbing since that means it must have been pre-cooked and ready to box up and send out. Regardless, we wasted 24 minutes.
(3)
Ari W.
I just want to give an update on the wait time-- It is not as bad anymore, it's more like 20 to 60 minutes wait now. Still, I'd make reservations before I go. If you have a hard time deciding what to get in this place, I personally recommend 1. the Lettuce Wrap. It is an appetizer, but it's actually very filling and can be a small entree. It's a crowd pleaser. 2. Singapore Street Noodles. 3. Dan Dan Noodles. I tried other dishes like Kong Pao Chicken, Da Li chicken, Beef Suzhan,...etc. all just "meh, ok". However, Singapore Street Noodle is got great flavor. You can't get good Singapore Street Noodle in all chinese restaurants. Lastly, although this is a chain restaurant, it could be slow at times, but their management & staff are great. They do care about their customer, so If you have any issues, just bring it to your server's (or manager come check on you occasionally too) attention, and they'll iron the kink out.

Years ago PF Chang's was a great place to go. Always crowded, and the food was always tasty. I recently lunched there for the first time in over a year, and was badly disappointed. I ordered what I thought was a dependable item, cashew and almond chicken with egg drop soup. The soup tasted like it had bacon grease in it, and I could eat only three spoonfuls. The chicken was drowned in an extremely salty unidentifiable dark brown thick liquid, served over common cheap riceland rice. This is the type of Asian food I'd expect if I ordered it at the Cracker Barrel. Hate to give these guys a bad review, but honesty must prevail.

Michelle B.
This is the second PF Chang's that I have eaten at. The food was just as lovely as the first time! We went for lunch and the portions were, as usual, huge! I got the spicy scallops which were cooked to perfection. Everyone at the table agreed that I had the best dish! My husband had a chicken dish, and while it was good, the sauce was a little one the sweet side for my liking. My daughter had the panfried noodles with shrimp, and they were awesome. Beautiful decor, just as all the other's I have seen or eaten in.
(4)
Chris T.
This place is just a dressed up run-of-the-mill Chinese-American chain restaurant. They have decent grub if you're into that. Nothing much else to it. Drinks are extremely overpriced. As someone else has already said, if you are looking for Asian food do not come here.
(2)

PF Chang's in Huntsville is just like PF Chang's in DC or PF Chang's in Miami. It's pretty good every time but it's not going to take home prizes for originality. I am dropping them a star because of a personal, non-food related experience I had recently. My 2-year old son lost his shoe somewhere in the Bridge Street area. When we called PF Chang's (where we had dined that evening) to see if the shoe had been turned in, they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I will think twice about spending my food dollars there again.
(2)
Michael W.
I went today for lunch and the server did not have menus for us. Seriously. They had a shortage of menus. We just told him what we liked and he figured it out. They also seemed to be missing silverware and some small dishes. Did someone rob the store? We had a decent server but I expect more from pf changs.
(2)
Justin A.
This is just another average Chinese restaurant... except they charge more. There's nothing special here. If you were to place similar dishes with similar presentations side by side from PF chang's and the china dragon up the street from my house I couldn't tell you which one came from PF Chang's. It seems to me that everything at Bridge street is high priced average goods. The Mexican place across the street is just as bad and Connor's is garbage too. Can somebody shoot me a PM and tell me what's so great about this place?

PF Chang's, like many restaurants at Bridge Street, is over-priced and pretentious. The food is decent but is nothing near authentic Chinese cuisine. There are a dozen Chinese restaurants in Huntsville that offer better prices, atmosphere and service.

VIP Duck was not worth $20 in Alabama. For good duck, go to the Sun Cafe and get Peking Duck. $15 and awesome.

This place is just a dressed up run-of-the-mill Chinese-American chain restaurant. They have decent grub if you're into that. Nothing much else to it. Drinks are extremely overpriced. As someone else has already said, if you are looking for Asian food do not come here.

I went today for lunch and the server did not have menus for us. Seriously. They had a shortage of menus. We just told him what we liked and he figured it out. They also seemed to be missing silverware and some small dishes. Did someone rob the store? We had a decent server but I expect more from pf changs.

Chang's...

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

(5)Jon M.
(2)Jenifer G.

Absolutely the best. My wife Terri just loves going there. I like the lettuce leaves appetizers. Sometimes we have to wait 40 minutes for a table at bridge steer location.

Chang's...

I just left this place. I cannot comment on the food because after sitting at the bar for 10 minutes with no one around taking even a drink order, I left. I did see about 4 employees taking a break in the corner, but they couldn't be bothered, apparently. . . First and last chance I'll give this place.

This store has the worst service. I would recommend going elsewhere. We've had 4 different servers so far, wrong drinks brought, been here 30 mins and nobody has taken my order. While this restaurant has been okay in past, it has definitely fallen off a cliff.

Our meal was amazing, wonderful and delicious! However, our server (DJ) was the best part of the meal. He was very polite and attentive. Plus, his sauce he made complemented all our dishes we had. Probably one of the best severs that has ever waiting on me. We truly enjoyed our evening.

(5)Scott S.

(2)N E.

(2)Jenny P.

(5)Barbara G.
The menu says "rolled to order" spicy Tuna roll. I asked for brown rice and they refused fairly abruptly. So, apparently not really rolled to order. Customer service has gone out the window.

(4)Panda B.
Your typical chained restaurant. It's not authentic Chinese, but the food is still flavorful and edible. The service is spotty and slow around crunch time. Nothing fancy, but one of the better food options around Bridgestreet.
(3)Jeff C.
It's 6:15pm on a Monday evening. How do you RUN OUT of pork dumplings? Well, that's what this location did. Went to grab a bite after work, thought that pork dumplings and pepper steak sounded real good and where else but PF Changs. Apparently, I was mistaken.
(1)Ashley W.

(2)Jason C.

Decent place to eat, but not worth the drive to West Huntsville or the price you pay for the food. The service is okay, but expect a lot of sitting and waiting. I had a problem with my waitress because I sat down and the hostess told us the waitress would be right with us. I watched the waitress talk with someone she knew for about 7-8 minutes while myself and the rest of my family waiting to get drinks and menus. Not a good first impression. The food was average, but the portion was small. The rice was bland and had no color or design. Not worth the $14 I paid for the entreé. The lunch prices are more fair but they're only offered certain times during the day and week. Comes with soup, rice and an entreé. More reasonable for $10. If you're looking for a nice sit down Chinese place, this is a good fit, but I would only stop by if it's close.

(4)Charles G.
(2)Aimee W.
Have yet to have a bad meal at this location. Service is good. The food quality for dining in is great. Kind of touch and go with the take-out.
(4)Amanda M.
Chinese-American. It's basically amped-up food court Chinese. Also, I ate there twice within a couple months when it opened. I got the same thing both times and both times it made me horribly sick for days. (Lo mein tastes much better going down than it does coming up.)
(2)Meredith P.
(4)Paul L.
Very nice atmosphere, professional crowd, I love eating here at least once a week for lunch... quick and courteous service at the bar, reasonable prices (about $12 for lunch), great food, good stress-relief! :)
(4)Gerhard J.
We ate here last year and I gave them one star because they let us wait until we left. Well yesterday we gave them another chance. This time we only waited 15 minutes. The food was very good and the service was even excellent.
(4)Jay F.
This particular location is not as good as other locations The food quality is inconsistent and service is inconsistent. I like the hot and sour soup when it is hot (temperature wise ). The P.F. Chang's in Franklin, Tn and Birmingham, AL are much better.
(3)J T.
Yep it's a franchise. Well for my last trip here my friend and I ordered a chicken and a lamb dish. The chicken dish was very tasty and well prepared. I was a little sad to find out that they had let themselves run out of asparagus and I had to change my side order.. One thing I was not a fan of was the lamb dish I ordered. The meat was fatty and of poor quality. Good service from the staff.
(3)Kevin N.
Awesome experience. Great customer service! All of the food was good. Fried green beans as an appetizer were great. Manager of our event went out of his way to accomodate our party at a fair price.
(5)Trevvor C.
(4)Jim N.
Went to dinner with family while in Huntsville last week. They seated us very quickly, provided quick service and excellent dinners all around. We had appetizers, one salad, and two chicken dishes...all were wonderful. The price was reasonable for what we got and they remain a very consistent and good dinner choice.
(3)Athena S.
(3)Angel E.
In general, I avoid chain restaurants. I do like this one though. The service is good and the food is predictable and consistent. I like their lettuce wraps and calamari for apps. As for the man dish, pretty much everything is good, not great but good enough to give it a try.
(4)John E.
VIP Duck was not worth $20 in Alabama. For good duck, go to the Sun Cafe and get Peking Duck. $15 and awesome.
(2)Susan C.
(3)Ari W.
(3)James M.
I've eaten here twice several years apart on business. The food is great, the service is great, and the prices aren't too bad. I particularly like the Mongolian Beef.
(4)J A.
Service was just fair, a little slow. Food was fine, normal for PF Changs. Dining room was too dark for my preference.
(3)Sarah R.
I loved how the waiter folded the top of my takeout bag.
(4)Brandon E.
It was pretty good. The fried rice was good and the meat dumplings were ok. First time in about 3 years but pretty good food.
(3)Gary L.
(2)Michelle B.
(4)Chris T.
This place is just a dressed up run-of-the-mill Chinese-American chain restaurant. They have decent grub if you're into that. Nothing much else to it. Drinks are extremely overpriced. As someone else has already said, if you are looking for Asian food do not come here.
(2)D D.
(2)Michael W.
I went today for lunch and the server did not have menus for us. Seriously. They had a shortage of menus. We just told him what we liked and he figured it out. They also seemed to be missing silverware and some small dishes. Did someone rob the store? We had a decent server but I expect more from pf changs.
(2)Justin A.
(2)Madras M.
Service was excellent. I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I have eaten in sveral PF Chang's but this one was the worst of all!
(3)Rico C.
PF Chang's, like many restaurants at Bridge Street, is over-priced and pretentious. The food is decent but is nothing near authentic Chinese cuisine. There are a dozen Chinese restaurants in Huntsville that offer better prices, atmosphere and service.

(2)Sarina V.
(1)Trista K.
(5)Barbara G.
The menu says "rolled to order" spicy Tuna roll. I asked for brown rice and they refused fairly abruptly. So, apparently not really rolled to order. Customer service has gone out the window.
(2)Faye B.
(3)Anthony D.
(4)Maria S.

I've eaten here twice several years apart on business. The food is great, the service is great, and the prices aren't too bad. I particularly like the Mongolian Beef.

Service was just fair, a little slow. Food was fine, normal for PF Changs. Dining room was too dark for my preference.

This place is just a dressed up run-of-the-mill Chinese-American chain restaurant. They have decent grub if you're into that. Nothing much else to it. Drinks are extremely overpriced. As someone else has already said, if you are looking for Asian food do not come here.

(2)Madras M.
Service was excellent. I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I have eaten in sveral PF Chang's but this one was the worst of all!
(3)Rico C.
PF Chang's, like many restaurants at Bridge Street, is over-priced and pretentious. The food is decent but is nothing near authentic Chinese cuisine. There are a dozen Chinese restaurants in Huntsville that offer better prices, atmosphere and service.

Chang's...
