Steak was awesome. My husband & I went there for Mother's Day. Even though they got my order wrong, I still got a free side dish along w/ my original side dish I ordered. I gave them 5 stars because of the food & the sweet service

My two favorite guys took me to dinner. The hostess was very friendly and inviting. Our server came within 2 minutes of our being seated and took our drink orders. It was pretty busy but she let us know she would be right back to take our orders. My six year old wanted to order his own food and the server could have been a little more friendly towards him. She was training someone else and thankfully the other girl has more personality. Our server was great at the server part but she was not very warm or friendly. Food was awesome! To management: it is very sad to have the hostess standing in the doorway and not allow them to wear a jacket or something. Get a Logan's monogrammed sweatshirt or something. It was in the 20 's last night with a windchill of about 10 and that poor girl was freezing. Kudos to her that she still kept her smile and inviting personality!!!!!!

Great food, Great service, and well priced. Logan's on hwy 72 is always good, Christina are server took real good care of us. I had chips and queso as an appetizer, it had a great blend of cheese, tomatoes, and peppers. Then the kickin' Logan's chicken salad was awesome with corn, black bean, and jalapeno salsa fresh lettuce and colby jack cheese, with a large grilled chicken breast seasoned just right with fresh ranch dressing and I almost forgot about the yeast rolls hot and buttered. Then for dessert the banana cream pie was delicious the bananas were some of the freshest I've had and the graham cracker crust was perfect. I will definitely be back soon!!!!

The enthusiasm and smiles just aren't here. We asked if we could have a booth instead of the table, The hostess turned with a solemn expression and without an answer towards a booth. The waitress didn't introduce herself and later when asked "what's for desert?" she replied "I don't know". I can almost taste the carrot in the coleslaw. The sweet potato fries are not worth ordering as a side due to lack of taste. The mesquite wood grilled salmon definitely sounds better than it tastes. It's covered with what looks like seasoning but I didn't taste it. For birthdays they have no free dessert. The waitress replied that what they will do is "sing and embarrass you for free after you pay for a dessert". The men's restroom has urinals that are so low you get to endure piss splashing on your legs.

I'm not really a big "fan" like the four stars are supposed to indicate, but my Girls Night Out gang had really good service here last night. My super large filet took a while--maybe 20+minutes to come out, but it was cooked mid rare, as ordered. Like others are stating: nothing exceptional, just standard chain steakhouse fare. My GNO dinner companions had a chicken dish with a sweet potato, and the salmon. I tasted the salmon and it was overcooked for my palate, but everyone seemed to like their meals. I missed the option of steamed broccoli as a side, and didn't want to try the 'steamed veggies' because they are typically awful. I got the sauteed mushrooms, which was the low point of the night, since they were super salty, but, so what, it's a Logans. At least 3 different food runners brought the food out, as we staggered our orders due to arriving at different times. Our waitress was young, and always smiling, and the food runner who brought my steak asked: "do you mind cutting into it to ensure it is cooked to your liking"? which I thought was a nice touch. Oddly, they leave the steak "markers" in the steaks, or at least she did, when they bring them to the table. You know the color coded plastic things that indicate if it's rare, medium rare, etc? When I worked in restaurants we were trained to remove those when serving the plates. Oh and GNO friends shared coupons, so I got $3.00 off. Restaurant was only maybe 50% full. Then again it was a Tuesday night.

Consistently good food at a fair price. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. Good cheap steaks cooked to order. The managers always come by and check on you and are open to comments. Bar has a decent beer selection and ice cold mugs. Try it sometime. For a chain it is pretty good.

A solid 3.5 star rating, rounded down to 3. ATMOSPHERE & AMBIANCE 3.5/5 A casual, family-friendly atmosphere on a late afternoon is what we settled for one Sunday after church in late August. Hubby and I were seated in one of the big booth tables where one could slide in/out on either sides of the table. Hubby liked the fact that there was a bucket of peanuts on the table along w one empty bucket to toss your shells in. SERVICE 4/5 Our wait staff seemed quite busy yet attentive and quick with our requests when they finally saw us flagging them down. They were also knowledgeable w our questions and order. There was a shift change w our table and sometimes I'm just not good w that when it comes to dining. Oh well. It's out of *my* control. Lol I did appreciate the last waitress packaging up a to-go cup of the cinnamon sugar spice for spreading at home. Upping this portion to 4. ;P FOOD 3/5 Immediately after placing our order came out the hot bread buns w a cup of creamy butter on the side and a cup of cinnamon sugar. The combo spread onto the hot bread was divine. I've been watching my carb intake, but I devoured 2 buns since I didn't have any breakfast. I was hungraaaaaay! 8D We ordered the following dishes to share off of the 2 full meals deal menu: MESQUITE WOOD-GRILLED SALMON w choice 2 sides of Grilled Mushroom Skewer and Sweet Potato Fries. The salmon was grilled to perfection w a slightly crunchy exterior (mostly on the bottom side) and succulent inside. No sauces were needed for this dish as it was delicious!!! 8P BLACK ANGUS SMOTHERED STEAK TIPS w choice 2 sides of Macaroni & Cheese and Grilled Skewered Vegetables. The steak tips were topped w sautéed onions and mushrooms in some kind of gravy-like sauce. The steak tips missed the mark. 8( There were about 5-6 big tips, 2 of which were edible. The rest of the tips were difficult to chew even though I requested my steak tips medium, but they were well. Hubby spent about 2 minutes chewing 1 piece and finally gave up and discreetly discarded it in his napkin. I noticed the tough texture while attempting to cut the pieces into small bite size pieces. Not what I expected or hoped. The steak tips were flavorful without a doubt but extremely tough to chew, no matter how long we chewed it. It was obvious these were mostly gristle pieces w tendons. 8/ I was not pleased with this at all! On the other hand, the sides were the opposite. The macaroni and cheese was served hot and creamy just the way I like it. And the grilled vegetables slid smoothly right off the skewer and was even better in my mouth. VERDICT & RETURN 3/5 I'm partial with our first experience, but that won't stop us from giving them another try. Next time we'll opt for actual steaks and hope for the best.

I have been to Logan's a couple of times now. It's your average chain restaurant, nothing truly spectacular here but also nothing terrible either. The service has always been good when I've eaten there. We did go there one time, when they had a coupon running in the local mailer, and they ran out of chicken fingers before 6 pm which I thought was odd since that's a pretty common choice for people, but I'm sure the rush wasn't necessarily expected.

Not sure about this place....We have eaten here twice. The first time we ordered a steak special and it was very good. But, the last time we went, we were very disappointed. The drink that I ordered was very small, but very expensive..not worth it, and my steak was not tender at all. I ordered a rib-eye and it was not tender like a rib-eye should be. Not sure if we will be going back anytime soon. :-( UPDATE: We will never be going back to this place! After writing the above review, we were contacted by someone claiming to be an area supervisor/manager (Deborah). She told us what we wanted to hear and promised to send us two meal cards so we could give them another try. We were told that we would receive them in 7-10 days. That was over a month ago and we still have not received anything! I emailed her letting her know this and she replied stating that she would check on the status. That was the last time that I ever heard from her. I have sent her several emails since then and she doesn't even have the courtesy to reply! And guess what...still no meal cards! Lol! That just shows what type of customer service they have! If you can't even trust the higher-ups, then I can only imagine how the restaurant is run! Stay away from this place!!

This is a restaurant that wasn't horrible but also wasn't great. Would I come here again? No. The customer service is ok. Our waitress was nice but she forgot to get us menus and utensils. Perhaps she had a busy moment, which we all do. The fresh bread was good but very buttered up. The menus, chairs and items around the table were or at least looked greasy. We were seated in the bar dining area. Maybe it was from the buttered bread or peanuts. We ordered drinks and dinner then left. It was an A-ok experience which doesn't warrant a return.

Yesterday was my second visit since mother's day weekend. The food was good both times, and the service was excellent. Both visits were during their weekday early dinner specials (3p - 6p). Two people can eat for $15 - $20 depending on whether they want desert or not. The two for $20 dinner menu consists of an appetizer to share, two main courses, and desert items from the special menu. The main course includes two sides. Last time I had the Southern fried Catfish, and this time I had the half rack of Baby Back Ribs. The fish was good, and the ribs were awesome, tender with the meat falling off the bones. My sides consisted of a side salad with blue cheese dressing and a mushroom skewer. The salad could have been great if I ordered the dressing on the side as there was way too much dressing on the salad. The mushroom skewer was terrible, the mushrooms were not seasoned and were dry. Now my mother had the vegetable skewer (which I tasted) that included a couple of mushrooms along with 2 pieces of squash, tomato, and onion, which was seasoned well and was absolutely delicious. My dad and I both had draft Amber Bock beers. I had a 22oz glass for $3.99 and my dad had a pint glass for $2.99. The deserts are huge. The four of us shared the warm brownie with ice cream driziled with chocolate sauce and walnuts and we were unable to finish it. The atmosphere is very casual and very similar to Lone Star steakhouse with containers of all you can eat roasted peanuts with the shells tossed on the floor.

Never had any problems here before but Father's Day was the worst experience I have had at any restaurant. It was crowded so my daughter and I sat to wait with until our turn. After an hour I asked at the desk about our table and they insisted they tried buzzing us and calling to tell us our table was ready. Our device never buzzed and I never gave them a phone number to call me. We finally were seated and after about fifteen minutes I had to go find a waitress to serve us. She took our order and we waited some more. Forty five minutes later we got our steaks with my daughter's overcooked but she decided to just eat instead of waiting who knows how long to get another. I know they were very busy but they lost my business forever.

There is a lot I could say about Logans Roadhouse. The fact that "Roadhouse" makes me think about one of the most kick ass Patrick Swayze movies (or any movie for that matter) ever made. The pure giddy school boy pleasure I get from eating free peanuts (in a bucket on every table), piling said peanut shells on the table, and then in one fellow swoop brushing them to the floor. Men, the eternally overgrown little boys that we are, love being encouraged to make a mess. I even enjoy kicking all those peanut shells with my boots on the way to being seating. Not to mention any place that displays cuts of meat in a cold case front and center is my kind of establishment. The ambiance is a cross between country cabin, and Americana with cool antiques, signs, signals, and travel posters. Ah' the steak house. It's an American icon, and in this foodies opinion Logans holds up. Sure you could spend more, and get a steak boiled in butter (Ruth Chris anyone), but I like an affordable steak from time to time with little hassle. Logans provides good beer prices, delicious rolls as starters, not to mention the peanuts, and there food is good. I've never noticed the slow service stated elsewhere, maybe because I'm having so much fun eating my peanuts or drinking my beer. My food is always cooked to my specifications, and for a steak joint the prices are right. You are going to spend $15-$25 on a good cut of meat anywhere, but there are also your burgers and sandwich options in the $10 range. The real decision maker is the wife. Logans provides fun salad options for her and I can convince her to keep going back. Nothing like her being happy with her greens on one side of the booth, and me as content as can be on the other side; building my peanut shell castle, drinking my beer, and chewing my meat. The wife and I frequent Logans on average once a month. I've never been dissatisfied with what I've received for the price, and I enjoy my experience. What's right: ambiance, food, drink, and price Need's a little work: Food service can be a little slow, but drink service is good while we wait...

No longer a favorite. They have changed their menu selections and quality of food has gone way down. We even asked our waitress what was going on and she confirmed the menu changes and quality of food had something to do with the amount of food that would fit on a truck for delivery. Oh well, Logan's may save money on their delivery, but are losing a customer and now a post on Yelp to add to the mix.

A chain restaurant that appeals to the typical Huntsville crowd. The food is average quality, but I am always unsatisfied by the service. It seems like the wait staff always ends up apologizing for how long it took to bring out the food. As I tell my friends, they're good for large groups no larger than two in size.

I was disappointed. When the highlight of your experience is getting to throw peanut shells on the ground, you know you have a problem. Service was a little slow and the BBQ pepper jack burger tasted more like a microwaved sausage patty. I'll be avoiding this place going forward.

(The Focus) Service and overall experience. (The Story) We had my sister over this weekend and a friend decided to come along with her. So we were going to go out for dinner since we wouldn't have enough for all, some of us picked olive garden but they wanted something new. So the roommate suggested that we go to logans roadhouse, from that moment I knew it was going to be a bad night. But with a open mind we go to Logan's and wait outside for about 5 minuets to be let in. After walking through what felt like was a maze of spent peanut shells and filth we finally reached out table and brushed off the peanuts and sat down. We were then greeted by our waitress, who was a wonderful waitress btw, and ordered our food, I got the shrimp while my mother got the steak. My drink was filled every time I reached halfway so the attention to the customer was excellent, however not even that could save us from the experience that was about to take a turn for the worst... After waiting about an hour and a half our food finally arrives. By this time we are halfway full on drinks and peanuts and go ahead and dig in, and immediately spit it back out. The top of the food was warm, but barely, this was the first sign that our food had been sitting under the heat lamp for a LONG time. The second thing was the way my shrimp reacted with my teeth, RUBBERY! I wasn't the only one suffering at the table though, my mothers steak was ice cold, literally ice cold. Want to know why? They didn't even cook it, my mother always orders her steak medium rare but seriously, how could you even screw up something so simple? The cook did it rare but my shrimp was rubbery and over cooked? My sisters salad was apparently bland and didn't have a lot of sauce on it, dads steak was over cooked but not by a lot. After seeing our waiter pass our table to go into the kitchen(right next to our table btw) we pulled her off to the side and proceeded to inform her about the situation, then after telling her the full story she replied by telling us(discreetly so she would be fired) that the weekend staff sucks... horribly and on a weekly basis. And warned us not to come on the weekends(don't worry we aren't coming back). Then the manager comes out for a stellar performance on trying to get moms steak back to the kitchen so they can "reheat it". What amazes me is that if you didn't cook it correct the first time, do actually think that we will trust you to get it right on the second go? I wasn't paid attention to with my rubbery cold shrimp because face it, they knew I wasn't important because I wasn't paying the bill and couldn't do jack on it anyways if they wanted to. And for $60? I don't think so. (Final analysis) There are two ways of not having a horrible time that are easy and simple to follow, My way: Don't even try with this place. It's to expensive to be sitting in a trash can waiting to be served crappy overhere priced food(I would hate to see the kitchen). The waitress's way(WARNING MAY BE RISKY): Do not come on weekends just weekdays. God help your soul if you do! -The Inspector

I have been to this Logans location a few times and have had nothing but problems. My most recent visit i had two waitresses fighting over our table. Their frustration with each other was made awkwardly obvious to us. The food was average. On one occasion i had to send my food back because it was still frozen in the center, and they always seem to be out of EVERYTHING. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

  • D J.

Unreal. They were ready to take us to our table when the manager stopped them and told them not to seat anyone else because the kitchen was behind. After 20 minutes we were seated. Waited another 10 minutes before drink order was taken. Waitress did not bring splenda so we finally got some from another table. Waited on food over thirty minutes. Waitress was poor to say the least. Table next to us was given their dinner free because of their 30 min wait and when we tried to use coupons (which we asked about using before we ordered) we were given a hard time. This was a similar experience to our last visit there. WILL NOT be back.

Artery--clogging? Nah, long or short, you only live once. Lovely Danielle made the meal memorable, with warm greetings, fast service and helpful recommendations. Between the wings, baby back ribs and prime ribs, my partner and I ate so much delicous, greasy meat that it's a miracle that we didn't both suffer heart attacks on the drive home. A vibrant restaurant scene, this is a local's restaurant (chain) that is worth checking out. But don't go too often, the lumen of your arteries are finite, afterall.

My family is obsessed with their dinner special - 2 meals for $13.99. We usually get take out. The food is consistently good and you can't beat the value. I really like their salads - sister loves their chicken fingers.

Not impressed. Service was overall awful (our server was sweet, I just think that they are way understaffed and disorganized). I believe it is way overpriced for what you get... at least my meal was (the triple shrimp skewers). The am positive that the drinks were watered down. I will never go again. There are LOTS of other steakhouses to choose from.

We were seated in the bar dining area. Maybe it was from the buttered bread or peanuts. We ordered drinks and dinner then left. It was an A-ok experience which doesn't warrant a return.

Consistently good food at a fair price. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. Good cheap steaks cooked to order. The managers always come by and check on you and are open to comments. Bar has a decent beer selection and ice cold mugs. Try it sometime. For a chain it is pretty good.

I was disappointed. When the highlight of your experience is getting to throw peanut shells on the ground, you know you have a problem. Service was a little slow and the BBQ pepper jack burger tasted more like a microwaved sausage patty. I'll be avoiding this place going forward.
