I came here on a whim with some friends. I got the Queso Burrito hoping to get the best of Chipotle and Moe's have to offer in one burrito. What I got was a burrito that was decent but not nearly as good as either of those places. I can't say I intend on visiting again on my own unless I'm already at Bridgestreet and don't want to leave but don't want to spend a lot to eat.

I also have the best service every time I go here. The food is amazing and their salsas are great too. Lime is probably the cheapest restaurant at Bridgestreet but it's also one of the better ones there. It's a cross between fast food and a sit down restaurant. I love the food and I am never disappointed whenever I go there.

The food was so so good. Everything tasted fresh and it didn't take too long to receive. The salsa bar was very neat, the prices are reasonable too. This is the best Mexican food I've ever had in Huntsville. I recommend the steak and queso tacos!!

The food is verrrry mediocre. Theres a lot of flavor to be desired. Staff is friendly and attentive which is great. Prices are ok. Decent amount of seating. Overall it was fine for a quick bite after shopping.

My girlfriend and I went this past weekend, and I was extremely hungry so I got two entrees (the big cali burrito and a small fresca quesadilla) and the girlfriend got a avocado bacon quesadilla and everything was great! We always seem to have good food there. And the fact that they have like 20 different hot sauces to choose from. Not to mention that the creamy cilantro dressing that comes with the quesadillas is perfect. I got mine without guac, or salsa cause I'm not a fan of onions and they were very accommodating. Anyway, we have gone here numerous times, and we will continue to do so because this is a great middle of the road restaurant that's the best bargain in Bridgestreet.

I had never actually heard of this place until my coworkers told me about it, then I fell in love with it!! their burritos are so freshly prepared and love the fact that every time I call ahead my food is ready. My recommendation... the queso burrito with beef. you can't go wrong with that. get it on Mondays and it comes with the drink for 5.99. Lime makes me forget Taco Bell!

This is really sad that in this day and time a restaurant can not afford to illuminate food prep and cooking areas adequately. The end result of this is me getting sick. I uploaded a picture of the steak avocado ranch quesadilla. The steak was raw. Ate there Saturday evening 19 April 2014. Probably last time ever.

Lime Fresh could have killed/severely injured me. I really wanted to send this directly to Lime Fresh corporate, but every time I try to load their contact page..it doesn't load. A chunk of fish in my fish taco had a sharp inch long end of a wooden skewer inside of it. Thankfully, I inspected my food before chowing down. No apologies from staff. Please beware of eating here, or at least inspect your food carefully.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. I liked their salsa bar, I thought it is a cool concept. They serve many types of salsa, such as the traditional Pico de Gallo, and the really spicy habanero salsa. My favorite was probably the pineapple salsa. The servers were friendly and the food came out fast. We got three fish tacos and a fajita combo platter (steak & chicken). While the seasoning was alright, the tortillas for the fajita were hard and a bit too dry, and the fajita meat was chewy. As for the fish taco, the fillings was tasty, but somehow they only filled two tacos, and the third one was barely filled. Check my pictures and I challenge you to find the third taco on my plate. Another thing that bothered me about these tacos-- the fillings were wet. Not moist, WET. The tacos were dripping all the time. Not sauces, water! It's messy and inconvenient. I wonder if they were running low on the fillings, and so they just gave me whatever was left from bottom of the pot. Dislike. Lastly, the chips were stale. I want this newly opened trendy restaurant to be good, but unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. After this experience, Rosie's is better in taste and also value IMHO. However, since this place is new, perhaps they are still ironing the kinks out, so I will give this place another try......eventually.

I only go to this place on Friday nights for the happy hour ($2 tacos and $3 margs). I've always really liked it. Its fun to sit out on the patio and people watch. The food could be better (I got really bad food poisoning from their fish tacos -so AVOID), but the location and the price cannot be beat. I think the prices are fairly reasonable and the food is OK. Nothing to write home about, but nothing too terrible (besides the fish tacos). Bottom Line: Perfect place to enjoy the patio and kill time before a movie. Not too expensive, but not too delicious either.

It's rare that I have an experience at a restaurant that is so bad that I wake up the next day thinking about it. This was my first time here. Put simply, the food is overpriced and mediocre, the chips were stale, the tacos were soggy, and the staff was rude. My drinks were forgotten and when I asked nicely whether I was supposed to have gotten them when I paid for my meal, I was told, "I can't get them for you, so you should get up and complain." Really? If you have $25 to spend on crappy Mexican food made by apathetic teenagers, get your own kids to cook it. Otherwise, go to Rosie's; at least the food is good and the staff is respectful.

The woman at the front was very helpful and patient while we ordered. They have a lot of options, and it was good for her to give us a rundown of what's popular, and what she personally liked. The food came out quickly, and was well prepared. Definitely a pleasant surprise, and a place I would go back to.

I tried Lime on several occasions and was always disappointed. I tried to enjoy it, but every time I ordered veggie tacos, I always got pieces of meat in my tacos. Since this happened numerous times, I've boycotted this place. It is overpriced as well. Reading other reviews, it seems like they always mess up their orders. I do not recommend this place. If you're looking for Mexican food in Huntsville, you might as well head over to Chipotle.

Chipotle is way better in atmosphere and taste. The music here was way too loud and the "servers" seem really pointless. I didnt like the salsa bar at all, it was a mess and there was spilled salsa everywhere. I have given this place like 4 tries and every single time the food was not good.

    Great fish tacos!

The tacos here are seriously lacking. I can make a better fish taco at home. Matter of fact, I think I will then bring it up to the management team so they can use my recipe. On the good side, very extensive hot sauce selection and their frozen margarita taste OK, although they're not real. As far as I'm concerned, Chipotle is way better in my opinion. I used to work for a chain called Costa Vida and Lime Fresh can learn a thing or two from Costa Vida AND Chipotle.

Not all that it's cracked up to be. The food is ok, and the music is too loud to actually enjoy going here with anyone. They only have a beer and wine license so the margaritas aren't even authentic. Way over priced!

Really love it. The pineapple salsa made my life! Love the energy in the place. Refreshing!

I enjoy this place. Great location at Bridge Street, right on the water instead of on the main road. You can sit outside and not have someone walk by looking at your food every 2 minutes. The food is fresh, the service is friendly and quick. The only thing I could say is, I wish the serving sizes were bigger. I've left there still hungry.

Dirty and even plates look worn. Food was fair but service poor. I will never go back

I keep coming back here for some reason. I think I just really want it to be good as it's in a good location. But I have been disappointed with every visit, and I think today was my last time. It is overpriced for what you get, and it does not live up to the "fresh" in the name. Burritos are typically stuffed with the cheapest ingredients, like rice, then they add a few specks of meat. Today, my wife and I tried the quesadillas instead, and I would say there was an adequate amount of meat in them. My wife got the "steak", which was the consistency of a shredded car tire. (It was awfully dark, too, which makes me wonder...) I had the chicken, which was ok, but not exciting. With 2 cups of water, we ended up spending $19.96, which would have gotten us a feast at one of the better burrito chains. I did enjoy the 10 or so tortilla chips that came with my meal, although they were a little stale. The nicest thing I can say about this place is that they do have a great assortment of salsas and hot sauces to cover up the mediocre food.

not sure why it's a "fresh" mexican grill. Chips were stale, quesadilla was old, staff is rude. The food was not good at all. It's a shame because it's a great location, right on the water if you sit outside. I was very disappointed.

Ate here last weekend - very overpriced, would prefer Qdoba or Chipotle for same serving size, lower price and better flavor. The burritos were big but the flavor was just not there. The rice was not cooked right, it had a mushy texture as if overcooked but hard center. The chips were also not cooked properly, one single chip could have a stale part and crispy part, most of them were this way or were completely stale. Would prefer to go to Cantina Laredo.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
