Stopped here while in town on business, based on Yelp ratings. The Good: Nice atmosphere, very friendly service, amusing names for sushi rolls (try the Viagra roll, it's good), excellent sushi. The Not So Good: my soft drink was flat. A nice place at this price point should provide cloth, not paper, napkins. Our spring rolls were absurdly hot and I burned my tongue, which detracted from the sushi that followed. This is what happens when you put speed before customer experience. If you fry something in hot grease, let it sit a few minutes before you put it on the table. I'd much rather wait than scorch my mouth.

I stopped by this place at Chinese New Year Eve. I had a very nice dinner here. I was sitting at the sushi bar. The sushi chef are Chinese. This is my first time here. I ordered the dish with 24 pieces of sashimi. The fishes are fresh. If you like raw fish. It's worth to try the dishes.

Had great dinner with my bf, and it is great to get half off wine on Tuesday. Nothing can stop me eating sushi! Restaurant is clean and friendly, has wifi ( you have to ask for pw). Servers are nice as well. You gotta try volcano, it is AMAZING!

Man, this place consistently amazes me. It's pricey but I LOVE the food here. Atmosphere is dark and relatively quiet. And the sushi rolls are just out of this world. Top notch quality and taste. One of my fav. places. Yes, it's pricey. :)

Service, ambience excellent. Superior quality of food. Excellent sashimi. We ordered "The Boat," which easily feeds two and is $50.00 -- and worth every penny. Best sushi I've had since living overseas near Hawaii. Go! Go! Save up a little, and go; it's worth it!

I like the specials for half off on certain days of the week. For instance, Monday is half off beer, Tuesday is half off wine. Food wise, thumbs up on quality. I got the Alaskan roll and the salmon treated very fresh. Udon has a clear, crisp taste. Fried calamari was decent, ok sauce. Service was friendly but not as frequent as I would have liked.

The place caters to the drinking 20 something. If you are not in that category, you won't pleased? Sushi is good. Service is juvenile.

Huntsville had limited sushi places, and this is at the top. Also have some traditional Japanese noodle dishes and a nice bar for drinks. Good atmosphere for a date

Food is good but service sucks. Had the worse server EVER there. Her name was Memorie and she gave me a bad memory from the experience at this place. She was rude and rolled her eyes every time she came to our table. With this kind of service We gave her a less than 20 percent tip because she certainly didn't earn it and to make matters worse she got an attitude and yelled at us for not giving her a decent tip. To which I told her she certainly didn't earn it. I usually let a lot of stuff go but when she wanted to confront us about the little tip she really didn't earn, then at that point she pushed me over the edge and I went to her manager Savannah and placed a complaint. I can only hope Savannah fired this girl so she doesn't leave other ones with a bad memory as Miss Memorie left us with a horrible memory. If you have her as a server I would recommend asking for another one because she is awful. hopefully she was fired because I can not recommend this place to anyone after this horrible service! So disgusted with this unacceptable service at this place. Be forewarned!

The prices were okay but at home in Hawaii we would have had a lot fresher fish and sushi rolls. My California roll was soggy because the mixed veggies next to it was wet from being steamed. The teriyaki chicken I had was a typical thigh grilled and with Teri sauce on top-nothing special about it. The waiter was at least very professional and courteous.

Excellent sushi and sashimi. Lots of rolls including the contrived gimmicks for non-sushi eaters but all good. Even the one with peanut butter! Nice bar too.

Surprisingly enough, this place was pretty good. I had Philadelphia and tuna rolls. Decently priced, pretty good sushi, atmosphere was good..overall I would go back there...as a matter of fact, if I live in Huntsville, I will frequent this place.

Is this authentic Japanese cuisine? Not by a long shot. But I'm okay with that because what is served here is a very delicious American cousin to the real thing. The rolls are always fresh and full - no wimpy California rolls here! The ginger dressing on the salad is absolutely delicious, and the miso soup is the perfect balance of flavor (not too salty or pungent). The volcano roll is great! If you like spicy tuna rolls but find they're never spicy enough, have no fear - I Love Sushi delivers a punch that will open your sinuses faster than shoving the entire chunk of wasabi provided in your mouth. It's hot in all the right ways and I get this every time I come. If sushi isn't your thing, for dinner there's a $15 meal that comes with rice, miso, salad, and two main dishes of your choice. The mains range from salmon teriyaki to vegetable tempura to gyoza, and everything I've stolen from my boyfriend's plate so far has been wonderful. The main plate also has fresh sauteed veggies on it, so if you're looking for a hearty, well-rounded meal that isn't sushi, this is it! Can't recommend this place enough; best sushi in the area hands down!

We live in the Northern Alabama area and it always nice to try out new sushi joints. I have heard about I Love Sushi a few times and the last dinner night with friends we decided to try this one out. I am really glad that we did. This was a really good sushi and the service was good. We had a table of four, ordered some general rolls off the menu, and enjoyed the entire experience. I am not really that big on rolls as a general rule as most of the time the flavors do not mix well or are over done. They did a nice job of balancing flavor, texture, and presentation to make some nice roles. The fish was nice and fresh so next time I am going to go for some sashimi and put it to the test. The prices were really good also, which is a real plus. My wife and I will most definitely be back here.

  • Sonny K.

The food was excellent, and the sushi chief is pretty passionate about the food. The price is decent and there is a good variety of food between traditional Japanese food and sushi. I particularly like the Curry kasu (breaded pork) rice, Burrito Roll, and the soft shell crab. The wait staff is pretty good, very friendly but the place does get very busy over the weekend, go early on the weekend.

We had high expectations going there because of high ratings on yelp, but this place didn't live up to all the hype. I, personally, feel people get a little carried away by the good ambience rather than the food (taste and quality). In no way am I saying the food wasn't good; I'm just merely stating that I don't think they deserve 5 stars. The sushi here is good and the seafood is as good as one can expect at a mediocre sushi joint in a small-medium sized town that isn't very close to the coast. We tried various different rolls that looked and tasted good (not delicious). We also tried nigiri and a few different items a-la-carte and thought everything was OK. There were two things that bothered me the most with the food at this place for which I took off 1 star a piece: 1. Soy Sauce - I can promise even the folks from the deep south who are accustomed to eating fried food and food with high sodium levels will have a heart attack after a bites of food dipped in their soy sauce. I don't think this place uses kikkoman; maybe some shitty grade soy sauce that is extremely high in sodium level. They didn't have a low sodium soy sauce alternative to offer. 2. Stingy when it comes to using fish in their rolls - These guys tend to use very small amounts of fish and seafood in their rolls. It almost seems like they try to fill their rolls with vegetables and other cheaper items instead of using the real deal. All-in-all, my experience here was OK, nothing less and certainly nothing more. I will, someday, go back again just to make sure I was not wrong with my assessment. Hopefully, they will read my review and make a few necessary amendments. Who knows - things might be better and tastier next time. :)

This is my go to sushi place and when your in the "South" your options become slim. I Sushi uses the freshest ingredients and is always adding new rolls. Burrito roll will blow your mind! 4 stars instead of 5 only because they do not have any specials like buy one get one or something like this even if its only for lunch.

    (4)
  • Eric H.

My seared tuna salad spicy tuna roll was good and tasty! The tempura had a little more breading than I prefer. Service and atmosphere were great.Sushi was as good as the name implies.

One of my favorite foods is definitely sushi, in all its forms, so I have to say, I may be a little more discerning when it comes to sushi restaurants. From what I have gleaned from most sushi places I go, its really easy just to make sushi that is OK, just ho-hum. As much as I wanted/want to like this place, because I think places like this are necessary in places like the (fairly) rural South, I just have to say that the sushi is just OK. I kind of feel bad for saying that because, obviously, the most important part of great sushi is high quality, super fresh fish, in northern AL, we don't have the ability to get really great stuff that is superbly fresh, unless of course you want to eat largemouth bass sushi, which I imagine is less than tasty. Now, after saying all of that. If you want to eat sushi in Huntsville, this is more than likely your best bet. I have eaten at a few other places in town that have been downright dreadful, just uncreative, sloppy, and depressing. Blech! So, best sushi in town in my opinion, albeit a little "eh..." sometimes.

  • Yunus H.

The best sushi place in the area by far. It really is on par with those who are familiar with places like Sushi Samba, Sushi X, and Blue Samurai in larger cities like NYC, Chicago, and Tampa without the extravagant prices, but with a really consistent level of quality. The restaurant is intimate and expect long waits at peak times... but I have found a late lunch is really what I prefer as the quality never drops off, and the wait staff and sushi chefs are really friendly and the TV always happens to be on the best sporting event going on... I would recommend the "Roll Tide Roll" an excellent roll for those University of Alabama fans... btw, they also have an "Auburn Tiger Roll," nonetheless the restaurant is an excellent place to take a date also and they have a decent selection of japanese beer and sake as well... I love I Love Sushi!!!

  • Blake H.

Good place to get some sushi. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is that it's so popular and crowded. They're opening a new store in April, I think, in Madison. Wonderful food and a great bartender. It's the best sushi place around.

    (4)
  • Kevin W.

For something different, the oyako don is one of my favorite authentic non-Americanized, Japanese items. Think of it as a rice bowl infused with a chicken and onion omelet on top. Avoid the chicken teri don, as the rice was drenched in ranch sauce - yuck. With abundance of Yelp reviews, read the others for sushi recommendations. I'll just say that the sushi - spider roll, spicy tuna roll, eel roll, and caterpillar roll - was authentic, fresh, and delicious, although a bit saucy.

Best sushi in town. They have some unique offerings that diverge from normal sushi items, which makes them stand out from the pack.

I guess I should start by saying I am NO sushi connoisseur. I stick with what I know I'll like (nearly always a roll with shrimp, tuna, or salmon). I tried I Love Sushi simply because of all the marvelous reviews. It is about 45 minutes from my house, so I may only be able to eat there on rare occasions but I was very pleased with the whole experience. I felt like the service was pretty good, but our waitress did seem kind of awkward. She seemed embarrassed about asking us for our IDs when we ordered beers and she was kind of easy to confuse (not that we were trying to confuse her). I thought my sushi was excellent. We had the Viagra Roll, Roll Tide Roll, and Auburn Tiger Roll. All were super tasty and just as good as any sushi I've had in this area.

  • Meredith J.

I loved their sushi cuts, and was the best fried rice I have ever had. I'm a sushi snob so that is saying a lot. I ordered the roll tide roll and the sashimi selection. Was delicious. Favorite was the tuna and salmon. :D

  • William T.

Staff was very slow to service and cold in their behavior. I gave my simple order at the sushi bar which took over 30 minutes to fulfill. The bartender was nice enough to allow me to charge my phone so a for you. Service delivered my food late as mentioned earlier. Quality of the food was good for the most part. The wasabi was hardened and seemed to lack in flavor. I did leave my card as I performed one of my worst pet peeves and that is being on the phone when dealing with other people.. She handled it well however I didn't get my card back. They had it in the safe up front and promptly returned it upon my arrival.

My husband and I finally found a good sushi spot in Huntsville, since we moved here. At first I was hesitant to check it out because of the name. But I read some good review's on yelp, I wanted to give it a try. Our waitress was pretty helpful with the drink menu. She even suggested we shouldn't order uni since that was one of the reason I stopped by. I can't find good uni anywhere here but they have great sushi rolls. Can't wait to come back with my friends and family.

Alls I know is that my wife son and his wife all of those places. Every time we come to Madison, for making our trip into Huntsville to one of those two locations, between Madison and Huntsville. My wife recommends the California roll, and that thing they make with cucumbers, I think its called a cucumber roll. Spot on

I would definitely eat here again. The sushi was very good and the wait staff was friendly and courteous. I had multiple rolls and enjoyed all of them. There is nothing negative that I can write about this place.

  • Meghin E.

I love this place. Some of the best unique sushi rolls in Huntsville. My favorite is the Viagra Roll which is shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, hot sauce, and masago with a teriyaki type of sauce drizzled on top. They have a pretty good happy hour for martinis and wine on certain days and certain times. The fried rice is great and very fresh! I love the ginger salads as well, and their vegetable tempura is great! I have yet to get anything there that I did not enjoy. Sometimes the wait time is a little long but only due to all the food and rolls are made to order. Overall great place to eat!

My friends and I go to I sushi about twice a month. Most recent- Sunday before Memorial day for lunch. It was busy, not crowded, we were seated promptly, our waiter Jason was attentive and efficient, but not hovering and the sushi was delicious and fresh, as always. Another happy experience

  • Jim B.

I ordered shrimp tempura with cooked veggies, brown rice, a salad and Miso soup. It was a dollar up charge to get the brown rice. I was totally surprised with the shrimp. Extremely small with just some sauce on it. It is suppose to be large shrimp or prawns that is deep fried. Not even close. The veggies were cold. They brought white rice not brown. Had to get new veggies and brown rice. But the biggest disappointment was the small regular shrimp that was suppose to be shrimp tempura. Definitely will NOT go back.

  • Ava H.

This is my go to sushi restaurant. It is always delicious. I've come here to often I really have tried a lot on their menu but my favorite is the Chirashi. It comes with one of the best ginger salads and a miso soup and it is a bed of warm sushi rice with selection of different pieces of sashimi on top. Their grilled squid appetizer is also good along with the seaweed salad. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. My friends love the fried rice or tempura as well. A few rolls to try are the Super Crunch Roll, Roll Tide Roll, Viagra Roll, Burrito Roll and the Pink Pleasure Roll. The atmosphere is nice but sometimes on a Friday or Saturday night the wait cam be up to an hour. They do take out which is always delicious. Their is a bar inside as well. Come here and eat some sushi! You will love it.

Yummy in my tummy: Viagra roll, love wheel roll, salmon skin hand roll (which I cannot find at my go-to Huntsville sushi spot), and various sashimi. I would say the fare is pretty Americanized, but it is fresh, delicious, and doesn't lack on portion size. As they note on the menu, the sauces really are an art.

Darn good! I was going for 4 stars but i cant see a reason i didnt like it. Spicy tuna was yummy, basic but yummy. The tropical could have used more mango Sake list small Miso soup needs tofu They have soy paper and I like that too! I would definitely come back here

I love sushi is the best sushi I've had in Huntsville. It's a pretty far drive if you don't live in or near Jones Valley, but if you have a real craving it's always my suggestion. The servers are always really attentive and happy to make suggestions if you're new to the restaurant or new to sushi. I recommend the roll tide roll (which hurts a little to order as an Auburn fan haha!) and the burrito roll. They also have a lot of hot food options in case you have some non-sushi lovers with you!

  • Mike M.

The cut from the yellow tail was from the fattier lower belly and thus exquisite. Their volcano roll was $10 which is about average but they committed the mother of all sins. The salmon that topped the volcano roll was from a can and it was pretty obvious from the consistency of the bones. Who does that? Lastly, the cut from the spicy tuna roll was tiny!

  • Derek Z.

Pretty damn good sushi. We started with edamame for 3 bucks and fried stuffed mushrooms. Double down on the edamame and skip the mushrooms. They appeared to be stuffed with Krab and were under seasoned even with the too thick hoisin-esque sauce. I split the Chef's Sashimi Platter for 18 dollars with a fellow diner. It had some great salmon and excellent eel but i wasn't crazy for the dual white fish nor the tuna. This is strange because tuna is basically my favorite fish. I think the fatty quality of the salmon and eel were so excellent the white fish were blocked out even though i ate them first (i won't delve into sushi etiquette). I'll even forgive the use of an inedible garnish on the plate. I don't know why a decorative leak upsets me so. Whatever hits the plate, it should all be edible. So no decorative kale or manipulated leak top please. Fellow diners had the viagra roll, which was tasty. And also some fried dish with rice on the side which i didn't try. I saw the lunch specials and thought they could be a little cheaper for more return customers. All in all, we got out of there for about 15 a head excluding tip. Not bad, but a little more bang for the buck would be appreciated.

Not quite sure why the hype about this place. I went there for lunch and it was a big disappointment. There was no hostess up front. After 5 minutes, a waitress walked by and I asked her to be seated. She said hold on... another 10 minutes, the hostess finally came to walked us to a table... Later found out that the hostess was busy talking to another patron about a side business that he's trying to get her apply for. Had their lunch special w/ soup & salad. The salad was old & soggy. Soup was typical miso. The rolls were inconsistently, different sizes. It's an okay restaurant; there's better jap places in HSV. Still like Edo the best for lunch...

Did not come with high expectations given the land-lockedness, but was pleasantly surprised. Succulent salmon and tuna, delicious rolls in generous portions, and an excellent nabeyaki udon, perfect for late night cravings. Not bad for a little restaurant in a strip mall.

This is my first sushi outing in Huntsville. The only reason I went was because of the reviews on Yelp. I'm glad I went and will definitely be going back!! I ordered a Volcano Roll, Diamond Roll, and Crunchy Shrimp. All 3 were delicious and I want to go back and try 3 different ones. I took mine to go so service can't really be commented on but the cashier was very friendly and told me her favorites.

The last time I ate at I Love Sushi was in 2010- it was fine but not memorable or Yelp-worthy. I had sashimi there last weekend and liked it more. You can get a great idea of how a Japanese restaurant is by their sashimi. They can't hide their raw fish behind fried tempura bits or orange mayonnaise/spicy sauces. I tried the tuna, yellowtail and squid. The squid wasn't chewy- it was sweet, creamy, and stood on its own without even needing wasabi, lemon, or soy sauce. The tuna and yellowtail were great too. They charge $5-6 for a serving of sashimi, which is usually 3-4 slices, depending on the size. I also tried their seaweed salad- pretty standard but tasty too. I was impressed at the expansion of the restaurant to include a hip bar area. It reminded me more of New York City than a suburb in Alabama. Yet, the crowd is still laid back, and the service is friendly. I would return!

Well, after a few years I have gotten over my last experience and tried it again. I figured, hey, it was mostly a management problem and a lot can change since then. I have to admit that the service has improved a lot. Hubby and I were quickly taken back to our table and our server was excellent. Our food was pretty good. My favorite Japanese dish is oyoko don so that's what I ordered. It was great. Better than some others I have had in town. The sushi was good too. One problem I did have with this place is that I could smell the nail salon next door. Maybe it was just where we were sitting, but it was enough that a few weeks later that is the first thought that comes to mind when I think of this restaurant. So I guess if you have a bad sense of smell or a stuffy nose and you are in the Jones Valley area and you're craving some Japanese, this is the place for you.

Best sushi we have had in Huntsville. My favorite roll (as hard as it is to order because of the name since I am a Tide fan) is the Auburn Tiger roll. My wife loves the Caterpillar roll and our son loves the Philly roll. The Edamame is always fresh and the house ginger salad with Miso soup round out an excellent meal! Our 2 year old daughter also loves the Philly roll and loves to pick any of the fish off the Rainbow roll and my Auburn Tiger roll!

  • Ben L.

Been here a few times and never has disappointed me. This night I decided to have an all sushi dinner which is rare for me. Out of the various rolls I had, the Auburn Roll was the best. It had tempura shrimp in it to make it crunchy and tasty. My recommendation.

I wanted to see what sushi was like in the south so I decided to come to this place as it seems to have the highest ratings. I guess it was decent for being a sushi restaurant that's not near the ocean. I ordered the gyoza, which comes with a vinegar soy sauce, perfectly how I like it. I also ordered a hamachi (yellowtail), ika (squid), scallop with mayo, and a spicy tuna roll. The cuts of fish are the smallest I've ever seen. I do admit that the fish was pretty fresh. The hamachi was not as fatty as I like. My favorite was the spicy tuna, they add crispy batter into it so it has a little crunch when you eat it, something I have never had before. Not somewhere I need to eat at again but I'm spoiled coming from Hawaii and also having lived in Japan.

  • Andy M.

I Love Sushi has surpassed Edo's for the best pure sushi restaurant in HSV. The Burrito Roll is a sensation, but I am definitely with the minority as I pass the Viagra Roll. All the standard sushi rolls are solid. The don dishes are ok, but nothing spectacular. Parking can be a problem on busy nights.

Excellent sushi! I was surprised to find a place with the same quality and selection that I'd grown accustomed to while staying in New Orleans. Very nice presentation, quality ingredients, decent wait staff. A few could be less interested in flirting with the college guys at the other tables, but overall very competent.

After having lived in Japan for 4 years, I get a craving for sushi every so often, so my wife and I tried this place out. They have a lot of rolls and not so many nigiri selections as most American sushi joints do. We started with a few appetizers; chicken yakitori and gyoza. Both were very good. I ordered a roll tide roll and a viagra roll. The roll tide roll was good but I enjoyed the viagra roll much more. My wife had the stuffed avocado (stuffed with scallops, shrimp and cheese and baked) and she liked it. The serviced was great and the prices were moderate. I would have given them five stars if they would have been able to make my wife's favorite nigiri, kani kama cheese, but they did not have the tools and ingredients. Kani kama cheese is sushi rice topped with a crab stick, sprinked with cheese, dressed with a sqiggly line of mayo and then braised with a kitchen torch and served immediately while it is still hot.

We decided on this restaurant based on great Yelp reviews. This was a much needed break from all the BBQ I had been eating. Fish was very fresh. There was a great selection of creative rolls. All rolls were under $10, which by West Coast standards is inexpensive. My husband had a lot of chicken and steak dishes to choose from. He said the spicy chicken was "no joke." Great service, fresh fish, reasonably priced. I recommend Roll Tide Roll and Tropical Roll (tuna, mango, avocado.)

Best sushi in Madison County by far. It's not only the best sushi, it's the best price too. After living in Japan for a few years and trying all the other offerings in the area, I've settled here. Try the rainbow roll, volcano roll, makeral and unagi.

Very nice, modern looking sushi bar. The fish was wonderful and the rolls were very generous. Not what you'd expect from a strip mall sushi restaurant.

I Love Sushi serves about the best sushi in town - that I've tried. My experience at I Love Sushi was unexpected and turned out be lovely. My girlfriend and I were seated in the private room, with the recessed table, which was different for me. It made the experience a bit more fun. Apparently there were no more seats available so we were placed in there. :) The food was fantastic with surprisingly large portions. We did not expect so much food and accidentally ordered too much. haha The price seemed a bit high at first, but after realizing how much food we got my initial suspicion was soon dismissed as a mistake on my part. The price is quite reasonable and well worth it. The wait staff was very good during my visit. They seemed very quiet and 'behind the scenes' for the most part. Many times I would notice my drink was refilled and failed to remember the waitress attending to me. =-/ The atmosphere was nice. I have seen more decorative restaurants, but it was clean, neat and cozy.

Good food, good location, better service! Every time I've been here the waitress has been very helpful (different one each time). The sushi is fantastic, possibly the best I've had since I've been in Alabama. The other menu items are excellent as well (love the spicy chicken). Whenever me and the wife head to the Rave for a movie we have dinner here because it is simply the best.

  • Meredith P.

Good place to get some sushi. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is that it's so popular and crowded. They're opening a new store in April, I think, in Madison. Wonderful food and a great bartender. It's the best sushi place around.

Surprisingly enough, this place was pretty good. I had Philadelphia and tuna rolls. Decently priced, pretty good sushi, atmosphere was good..overall I would go back there...as a matter of fact, if I live in Huntsville, I will frequent this place.

Excellent sushi! I was surprised to find a place with the same quality and selection that I'd grown accustomed to while staying in New Orleans. Very nice presentation, quality ingredients, decent wait staff. A few could be less interested in flirting with the college guys at the other tables, but overall very competent.

I loved their sushi cuts, and was the best fried rice I have ever had. I'm a sushi snob so that is saying a lot. I ordered the roll tide roll and the sashimi selection. Was delicious. Favorite was the tuna and salmon. :D

  • Ajay R.

My seared tuna salad spicy tuna roll was good and tasty! The tempura had a little more breading than I prefer. Service and atmosphere were great.Sushi was as good as the name implies.

    (4)

Probably the best sushi in town. Love the burrito roll (wrapped in rice paper) and the viagra roll.

Don't let the name fool you, you don't have to love sushi to eat here. They have all kinds of great Japanese food choices.

Very nice, modern looking sushi bar. The fish was wonderful and the rolls were very generous. Not what you'd expect from a strip mall sushi restaurant.

Alls I know is that my wife son and his wife all of those places. Every time we come to Madison, for making our trip into Huntsville to one of those two locations, between Madison and Huntsville. My wife recommends the California roll, and that thing they make with cucumbers, I think its called a cucumber roll. Spot on

Great sushi but be prepared to wait for it. I love the food but it takes some time to come out. If you have the time though, you're in for a treat.

I would definitely eat here again. The sushi was very good and the wait staff was friendly and courteous. I had multiple rolls and enjoyed all of them. There is nothing negative that I can write about this place.

I've been back to I love sushi and the service seems to have improved. Needed to give credit where credit to due. I still recommend this as the best place in H'ville for sushi.

My friends and I go to I sushi about twice a month. Most recent- Sunday before Memorial day for lunch. It was busy, not crowded, we were seated promptly, our waiter Jason was attentive and efficient, but not hovering and the sushi was delicious and fresh, as always. Another happy experience

Best sushi in town. They have some unique offerings that diverge from normal sushi items, which makes them stand out from the pack.

  • Amy K.

    (3)
  • Meredith P.

    (5)
  • Mitchell H.

    (4)
  • Ruth P.

  • Elle E J.

    (4)

My seared tuna salad spicy tuna roll was good and tasty! The tempura had a little more breading than I prefer. Service and atmosphere were great.Sushi was as good as the name implies.

  • Talon K.

  • M A.

    (4)

Surprisingly enough, this place was pretty good. I had Philadelphia and tuna rolls. Decently priced, pretty good sushi, atmosphere was good..overall I would go back there...as a matter of fact, if I live in Huntsville, I will frequent this place.

Excellent sushi! I was surprised to find a place with the same quality and selection that I'd grown accustomed to while staying in New Orleans. Very nice presentation, quality ingredients, decent wait staff. A few could be less interested in flirting with the college guys at the other tables, but overall very competent.

Very good sushi. Wide variety of rolls as well as other Japanese dishes. The atmosphere is decent and the wait staff was good. I went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed my rolls.
