Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Had an amazing Saturday lunch. Sushi and hot tea. The Ti Kuan Yin hot tea is delicious. Miso soup is not as spectacular as some other places I've tried. However, the food is good (enjoyed the Alaska roll - Salmon with cucumber and avocado, also spicy tuna yum yum) and of good quality. Ambiance is great. Will definitely be coming back. Lunch special is a great deal.

I recently tagged along on a business trip to Huntsville. I was craving some sushi but didn't want to eat alone at the restaurant, so I ordered a pickup lunch special & took it back to the hotel. I checked their website & saw a banner ad scrolling across saying "15% off online orders". I love a deal so I ordered on the website. You click the menu and then click on the item you want & then add to basket. They've got a lunch special, 2 rolls for $9 or 3 for $12. I went with the 3 rolls, choosing salmon & avocado, crunchy shrimp and spicy yellowtail. So my total, after discount & with tax was $11.28. Not bad. You pick if you want soup or salad online, I picked salad but I received salad & soup. The restaurant is large on the inside. I was greeted by the host & I told him I was picking up a to go order. He said the total & charged my card & the. Went & got my food. He wasn't the friendliest; but not rude. They've got a fountain in the corner that is quite loud, a plus or a minus for some. My three rolls were inside one container, my soup in a plastic bowl & salad in a little container. The hot soup was put on top of the sushi, which seemed like a silly thing to do. The salad was your average Japanese/American salad with lots of ginger dressing. The soup smelled medical, like the white powder on latex gloves and I didn't try it because of the smell. The rolls: my favorite one was the salmon/avocado roll. The salmon tasted very fresh & there was a large amount of salmon & avocado in the roll. I enjoyed the flavor of the spicy yellowtail. It was minced which I'm not crazy about. I like when they marinate the fish in the spicy marinade. It was flavorful though, I would've liked a little more spice, but I know some aren't huge fans of that. Lastly was the crunchy shrimp roll. It was okay, a lot of panko crumbs inside & not much shrimp. All the rolls had good rice on them & weren't chewy or falling apart. If I'm ever back in Huntsville I'd eat here again.

When the first chef gone, the food there is totally different. I don't like the boss there, seems he or she is too mean to their employee.
(3)Laura W.
I think the sushi and soups are to die for here. Never had a problem with the staff and the quality of the food is always spot on. I have eaten here at least fifty times. Highly recommended the Shaggy dog roll!
(5)C. M. F.
Ate here a while ago and found the food and ambiance very nice. I had the Korean soup and it was awesome! Loaded with seafood. Service was good and fast. Nice clean bathrooms as well.
(4)Michelle K.
Excellent sushi! The flavor a and presentation was beautiful. We tried a few items at a time with kids and it was delicious. The waiter was nice. They ran out of the beer on special and the wait was a little long but it was clean and quiet. Trendy!
(5)Ed L.
So I ate here twice in the past 3 days because of the crab rangoons. You can find these everywhere but they are special at this place. Even the soy sauce taste better here. Had a lot of different appetizers all amazing. Ton on variety and higher quality than your average Asian restaurant.

Each time gets a little better. Today I skipped my normal late lunch elsewhere about huntsvegas and went to Four Leaves instead. As a result, they're officially 4/5 in my book. The four leaves roll is still my favorite of the house but now I can say the Fantastic Roll is a go-to as well. Our waitress was attentive and friendly... quickly switching out a lukewarm teapot for a better one, and providing even an extra pot on the house. The vanilla roiboos and the Ti Kuan Yin teas were both delicious and among the best I've had in town. I've had the blood orange and apricot black teas also... I haven't had a bad one yet. Strangely enough, my late lunch teammate says the pad Thai at Four Leaves has no rival in Huntsville. It's the fresh basil and cilantro, so they say. I'll try it eventually... There's just so much else on the menu to sample first. I've always thought I'd like this place; today removes doubt.

Great service and a great meal. Food was fresh, large portions, good price and came out fast. Sesame chicken pieces were huge and I couldn't finish my meal. Happy hour prices for beer were really good too.
(5)Andy M.
The wife and I shared an order of Hibachi Beef for Sunday lunch. It is hard to fault anything here today. The music was mostly light jazz. (Why American music in an Asian restaurant?) The nicely folded napkins were paper. I might have expected cloth napkins in such a nice place, when the average meal is pushing thirty bucks.
(4)Jonathan W.
Great Kong Pao Chicken. the waterfall adds a very nice environment accompanied by some serious jazz music
(4)Susan M.
The sushi selection is AMAZING. I ordered the sashimi dinner. The presentation was gorgeous. I highly recommend this restaurant.
(5)Nicoleta P.
I truly enjoyed this place, the decor is nice, the teapots reminded me of home :) Service was fast, Jolie was a great waitress! The soup, delicious, and the sushi/sashimi dinner combo came nicely arranged and contained more than enough fish, seriously even 4 people can have enough to eat from that. I am looking forward to return to this place and try new items from their menu. Another great thing: they have military discount!
(4)Silkia B.
All great! Service, ambience, quality of food. I am very picky when it comes to food... all I have to say is that I really liked this restaurant and I would come back again. I had thai chicken basil, miso soup, and squid salad; and green tea.
(5)Rob D.
This place has wonderful potential. The service was alright. First of all, please clean the water your fish live in, it is cloudy, dirty, and all around unattractive. Secondly and more important is the food. I ordered the yaki udon noodles with chicken, the noodles were good, the vegetables were good, but my chicken was a mix of either hot or ice cold. I have been sick with a stomach bug twice after eating here twice. Fix your cook staff and please live up to your potential.
(1)Christy H.
We went to Four Leaves for the first time finally. The atmosphere and decor is very nice and the service was good. However, the food is so-so and quite expensive. The egg drop soup is bland with a weird flavor. The sushi was ok, but is better from Fresh Market and Drake's across town. I had the Thai Cashew Chicken, which had weirdly thin and heavily breaded chicken strips with way too much salt. I really wanted to be wow-ed at this place, but was not. I may try it one more time.... but I won't be rushing back anytime soon.
(3)Amy T.
This is our third visit food was good and service great. Sundays are a good time to go right after church.

I will admit that I find it very difficult to write a review of Four Leaves Asian Restaurant because I've eaten here four times, and I've had either had wonderful experiences, or awful experiences. The first two times I ate here, back in January, were fantastic. Both times my party was waited on by the same waitress named Kat. She's the Asian lady with the rat tail for hair (seriously...) She was a real live wire, but a great waitress. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and they even brought us out these little bread roll thingees with a sweet cream butter-like sauce to put on them. I can honestly say I had no complaints, especially since the second time was unplanned - Texas Roadhouse had an hour+ long wait. But the past two times, both in late February 2013, my experience was less than good, hence the 3 star review. They seem to be constantly changing things, and that's never a good thing with a restaurant this new. During my 3rd visit, we came around 8:30pm on Saturday and the place was quite empty. We sat down and I knew we where in trouble when our waitress recommended a tea that was simply awful, and cold to boot! A few minutes later, I asked about those little rolls and was told that they no longer give them out anymore. Then, when our entrees arrived, my Asian Grilled Chicken was served to me on a chilled plate. Seriously, the plate was cold to the touch. So you can guess how my food was. Lisa, my girlfriend, had a Shrimp Walnut dish and it was cold as well. Cold Tea. Cold Chicken. Cold Shrimp. Ugh. We had bought $100 worth of half-priced gift certificates and at the conclusion of the meal were regretting decision. This past weekend, we ate dinner there on Sunday night around 5:30pm and it was again empty. There were perhaps 4 other tables with diners there. Lisa and I decided to try something different after our last experience. I ordered the Kong Pao Chicken (Kung?) super spicy and it came out not very spicy. It tasted pretty good, but I wanted it super hot. Lisa ordered a noodle dish and said it was "decent.." I was there with my boys and they both liked their food. My oldest had a sushi roll although the waitress told him that the roll itself was deepfried, but It wasn't. He still liked it so it all worked out in the end. My youngest had a Beef with Onions dish and he liked it. One thing I will say about this place is that the ambiance is nice, it's very quiet so it's great for a date or if you want to talk to the person you're eating with, and they always make the coolest garnishes. They didn't disappoint the last time I ate there - they did this cool blossom radish for my youngest son's plate and I had this butterfly looking thing with cucumber peel and orange wedges. They were pretty darn cool. I don't know if this place is going to be long-term. I have never seen it crowded when just across the parking lot is Texas Roadhouse which always has ridiculous lines. Then again, it's rare to ever see an Asian restaurant in Huntsville crowded, save PF Changs in Bridge Street. Those first two meals were incredible and I do hope this place makes it. But given that I still have $25 worth of GCs to use, I better get back there quickly before the gift certificate becomes worthless.

I've been to Four Leaves several times...each time was for lunch. I really like this place, mainly because the lunch menu prices are great. I haven't eaten there for dinner so I never bothered to look at the dinner prices. I love their sushi and Thai Coconut Curry. The place is also really nice and has an elegant feel to it. Service is always good...probably because whenever I go its only one or two other tables taken. But so far I have no complaints and will continue to come here.

We had chose this resturant on a random night and glad I chose it. It was amazing !! The Interior, The waiter, The food and overall a really nice time. If you are reading this and you want to go at night..just make sure your kids are well behave. Night Time is a big transition from day, its really quite, kinda fine dining-ish. I took my Five year old and he behaved but he yells when he talk, he dont know how to talk a table voice and he makes these noises with his lip..he was good enough to not get stares from other people. I had the Yaki Somba and the Rainbow Martini..it was Amazing !!!! If your child is a picky eater than this will be a good choice since its just chicken, noodles and veggies (My son loved it)
(5)Phoenix C.
Good selection of pan Asian fusion food. We got the rock shrimps, spicy seafood salad, and sushi bento. Would recommend the rock shrimps but the salad had a bit too much dressing. The bento is quite a good deal since you get to try different items, however the rolls were not what we are used to: the rice was warm and not vinegared. Overall, service and ambiance were great. And you might find many dishes worth trying as they have everything from teriyaki to thai curry.
(3)Paul T.
After several more visits, I've decided to update the rating. Again, the food is not bad, but slightly overpriced. Service was the deciding factor for the low rating last time. However, I think the service has improved. More importantly, I brought my wife here for lunch lately. She liked the food, service, and ambiance. Hence, the updated rating to four stars.
(4)Adele L.
Decor and music-upscale, service-perfect. I am always skeptical that any pan-Asian restaurant can do justice to all the dishes in multiple cuisines. I came away convinced this kitchen can do it because every one of our random choices was delicious. Tuna Dumpling appetizer - Excellent! Silky, fresh tuna wrapped around crushed avocado and chopped green onions. Amount of tuna was consistent with price. Do not miss the Viper Roll, it's my new favorite. Yummy tempura shrimp and blessedly free of cucumber. As a first-time customer, I ordered the Pad Thai. It's a great point of comparison between kitchens. I just loved their version, a perfect amount of chili oil and sweetness. I would describe it as mildly spicy. If you can't tolerate spiciness at all, don't order it. The shrimp were big and fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Yakisoba and found it needed chili paste. He likes dishes more spicy than I do. His noodles were tastier than Sonobana's, making him wonder if they were really soba (buckwheat), because-of course-healthy is usually less tasty. It turned out they were ramen noodles made from flour and eggs. This is a great first date choice, just get a table some distance from the noisy fountain. If they reduced the pump speed and increased the pool water level, it would operate as designed. The fish would actually like this.

I don't do many reviews but I had to for this place. It was the best Chinese food I have ever had! It was incredible; super nice staff, beautiful place and delicious food and drinks. I highly recommend the Kung Pao Chicken or the Chicken with Garlic Sauce!
(5)Faye B.
I really love the ambiance of the restaurant. It's very fancy and nice inside. I had the sesame chicken. It was very pretty looking. The pieces of chicken are huge! I enjoyed it but I would have preferred if the small pieces of broccoli were a little less cooked. However, they too were very nice looking. I also got miso soup with my lunch. It was pretty good. I wish there was more seaweed in it though. I also ordered an AAC role (Avocado, asparagus, cucumber). It was pretty good, but I think the avocado was sitting out for a bit because it was a little brown. HowHowever, they too were very nice looking.ever, it still didn't taste bad. The servings are huge and it wasn't too badly priced. :) I would eat there again.

Four Leaves is the best place for Asian in Huntsville. We go there often and are never disappointed. Katsu roll is the best!
(5)Dannon M.
They do not accept the coupon listed! Do not dine here. I am sure there are other places in the area with better ethics.

I don't know what's happened here. Four Leaves was my "go to" place when I wanted Asian food for lunch. Always good service and excellent food, plenty of customers (but not crowded) but then Thursday I went for lunch and it was like a different restaurant. Beside myself there was only one other diner in the restaurant. The service staff was completely inattentive. I ordered the lunch sushi special which includes soup, salad, and two rolls. The hot and sour soup earned them the star, I never got the ginger salad, and my sushi order was completely wrong and it was not good. The ingredients were not fresh which is essential to sushi. My drink did not get refilled until after the meal. The waiter did not check on my table and I couldn't get any of the wait staff's attention to correct the problem. I told the waiter all this when he presented my check so he reduced my bill by 15%, but that is not compensation enough to get me back.....good-bye Four Leaves.

On a recent trip to Huntsville late one evening I stumbled upon 4 leaves. What a beautifully appointed facility. Even though it was close to closing time and most people had finished and left, I was greeted very pleasantly and served graciously. I had simple appetizers for dinner and was very pleased with the presentation and flavors. I will be returning to test the main courses on my next trip to Huntsville.
(4)Avery L.
If your in the mood for Asian food look no further. They have Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Korean menu items and their all great! Their sushi rolls taste a good as they look. Very good staff and one of my new favorite places to eat.
(4)Kathryn Y.
The food was some what editible but the service was HORRIBLE! The Worst place ever. The waitress doesn't smile and the boss is on her computer the whole time we were there which was about almost two hours. We never got a refill on our drinks. Totally disappointed on our decisions to eat there. What a waste of our money and time!
(1)G Z.
For a Chinese restaurant, it has an above average ambience. I feel like maybe the owners noticed the long lines outside PF Chang's and think they could do the same. Not that I'm a great fan of PF Chang's for authentic Chinese food, but I will rate this place one star less for food choices and decor. I did not try their sushi but looking at other tables, they seem to be doing quite elaborate things with it. Food prices may be a tad below PF Chang's but above Ding How 2. For quality and more authentic Chinese food, I would choose Ding How for their dim sum during weekends. If you are a tea connoisseur, you may like Fulin's specialty tea like Tik Kun Yam ( something like that). For Huntsville standards I'm rating this 4 stars but for bigger city standards this should be a 3.
(4)Michael T.
Although I'm not the biggest sushi aficionado, This place was great! Definitely the best in Huntsville!
(4)Meredith P.
This is restaurant is brand new and while I understand every place will have growing pains when they first open, but I was very disappointed in the service. After we were seated, 15 minutes went by before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. We were one of 3 tables in our waitress' area too. After she took our order our appetizer and food came out pretty quickly except for a bowl of soup we ordered which apparently "someone else had taken for their own table". I understand stuff happens when multiple servers need their food, but don't tell your customers. The table the was seated after us also never received part of their order either, and it wasn't just our server, because we noticed grumblings in other sections too. The feel inside is nice and I like the decorations. The menu is diverse and the sushi was pretty good. You could tell the sushi chef knew what he was doing! Overall we liked the food, but I was so put off by how bad the service seemed to be, I don't know that I'll be coming back anytime soon. Hopefully they can get the issues worked out.
(3)Daniel B.
Best People Watching in Huntsville. The food was overpriced and the udon noodle dish was super bland but, the interior decoration was awesome. Check out the restrooms! I am sure that I saw Kim Jong Il, in the restaurant, he had the glasses and looked dead on. He still lives! Another lady came in looking like something from a spaghetti western. And last, but not least, the music was great. They played the old school batman theme music followed by some surfer music that sounded like Dick Dale.
(3)Panda B.
Had carry-out for lunch on a weekday. The place was empty, but it was nicely decorated, new and clean (duh!) Ordered Mangolian Beef lunch special. It was good. There was lots of Beef, a bit cheap on the rice (tiny tub). Not the best hot & sour soup (but I'm pretty picky for that), also very small portion. It looked like they have good sushi offering too from the menu. Probably will re-visit for a sit down in the future.
(3)Sebastian B.
I'm here on Business and found this gem close to my hotel. Who knew I'd find such excellent Asian cuisine near Huntsville. I had the Korean short rib appetizer and I couldn't stop eating it. So tasty and tender with a perfect presentation. Then the Thai Basil Chicken fried rice again blew me away. Fresh ingredients and cooked to order dishes this is a must visit restaurant. As a guest of the near by hotel I got a 15% discount. So I paid it forward, be generous to your wait staff!!!
(5)Tara K.
The food was great and so was the service. I went there for lunch and we had General Tao's Chicken with rice and sushi. The sushi meal was only $9. And it came with soup and a ginger salad. The soup was just ok. The sushi was really good. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the salmon avocado roll. I ended up taking a few pieces home and eating them later. We will be back, probably this week!
(5)P H.
As always this place pleases the belly and mind! Our waitress Jolie was excellent, which made the food even better! Will come here again! They also give a 15% military discount!
(5)Aisa T.
Decorations are nice--service is horribly slow and the price is not worth it. Took our waiter 10 minutes to bring our drinks after the 5 minutes it took him to greet us. Unacceptable in a restaurant with very little customers. Will not come again.
(1)G M.
I was in Huntsville on business. The Four Leaves Asian restaurant was nearby so based on other yelp reviews I gave it a shot. I was very pleased. I ordered the Mongolian Beef. It was superb! So much food could not finish it. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant!
(5)Aimee W.
One or go-to places for Chinese and sushi. Highly recommend as the food is delicious and the service is very good.
(4)Keri B.
I don't know... This last time: waitress complained about everything the entire time serving us, then a friend was munching on her carrot garnish and was informed by the wait staff taking the plates that they REUSE THE GARNISH from other plates and just rinse it off! She almost threw up her entire meal thinking about it. Completely unsanitary!! Even though I've had a good experience & delicious food before there, I (and friends) probably won't be going back again. :(
(2)Jeff R.
Very nice place with great food and wonderful service. Better than PF Chang's! I had lo mein with chicken and fried rice. Both were great. The spring rolls were great too, nice and hot. The decor was a nice surprise; as well as how the dishes were presented. Very beautiful and peaceful.

As a girl born and raised in Beijing, and a resident of Queens before moving to Huntsville, I've always felt that the Chinese food in this town is lacking. While Four Leaves didn't exactly "remind me of home", it definitely is superior in quality of food compared to the other offerings in town. Interior Feel: I've never really cared about "ambiance", but it was just a LITTLE bit weird seeing non-asian waitress wearing traditional chinese garb. Beverage: They have a good selection of tea, reasonably priced per pot. The oolong was pretty good. The vanilla rooibos is also pretty delicious. Appetizer: Standard affair in terms of selection, taken from various asian cuisines. Beef satay was nice and tender. Good effort on the shumai's, i wouldn't be as foolish as to believe it wasn't frozen, but it tasted pretty fresh. Entree: Very wide selection, a little light on the vegetable dishes. You can get anything from sushi dinner, General Tso's Chicken, to curry. I had the Walnut Cream Shrimp and Chicken, fairly generous portion, nice candied walnuts, a good show of quality when compared to the sloppy gooey stuff you get at buffets. Bill: it's a bit pricey, but it was worth it for me. Service: Chinese restaurants are not known for their service, and I can really care less as long as the food is good, but the service here was great.
(5)Daniel S.
Very good Asian food and great service! I had spring rolls and Mongolian beef - both were great. I really liked their soy sauce which seemed to taste a little different than your "standard" soy sauce. Also, I really enjoyed how the food was presented; It was decorated with vegetable garnish made to look like flowers.
(5)Bryan H.
I always try the sampler when going to a new sushi place. I liked almost everything but I had 3 pieces that tasted "real fishy". I like the atmosphere and service....but still not as good as "I Love Sushi"
(3)Gary L.
Clearly superior to the local competition. Spring rolls = A, sushi = B, hot buns = A, rice = B. Did not use sushi rice, was either average Thai or good domestic, the only disappointment. A little pricy but not bad. Service was really good. Glad they're here, I'll surely return.
(4)Manuel M.
Besides the waitress needing to learn some manners the food was decent. Not enough to bring back my business back immediately but maybe next year.
(3)J L.
My fiance and I went to this place today, to have a few drinks at the bar and were very disappointed. The drinks were very weak but very expensive. Also, the bartender seemed to be on something....he was very hyper and when pouring the drinks, he seemed very shaky, and was also acting a little weird. He also did not pay too much attention to his customers sitting at the bar and to make matters worse, when we went to pay the bill....he asked, "do you want change"? The bill was $32.52, we gave him $40.00 and he didn't even give us back any coins. Did he really expect $7.00+ tip for the few drinks that we had. It was just rude of him to even say that. I don't think we will be going back there again!
(1)Ginger C.
The atmosphere and food quality are great, the prices are reasonable and the portions are large without being ridiculous. With 4 kids who all love Asian food, we cannot afford to take our family of 6 to restaurants where entrees are $20 apiece. Here, the food is priced well. Someone else compared it to P.F. Changs -- in my opinion there is no comparrison, Four Leaves has better food, gives you more of it, for less money. (For example, the Gyoza appetizer at P.F. Changs is $10, and your get 5. At Four Leaves, the same appetizer is $8 and you get 6). The decor is classy and simple, and the staff is always friendly. We are becomming regulars.
(5)Michele B.
AWESOME Food and Service!!! Having lived in California for 13 years this is only Asian food I will eat in Huntsville! I have never been a huge fan of PF Chang, although it is good, Four Leaves is 10 times better. I had Oolong tea and Hibachi, both were very good. The fried rice was good and the soup and salad were both very good. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the chairs are very comfortable so you feel like you can stay awhile! I would HIGHLY recommend Four Leaves!
(5)David Y.
We're visiting Huntsville from out of state and we stumbled upon this place completely by accident. My first impressions were that they were trying to copy PF Chang's (I despise that place, by the way), but this was much cleaner, much quieter and much better service than PF Chang's. Anyway, our server was excellent. I started out with wonton soup. This wasn't the best wonton soup I've ever had in my life, but it was definitely the best wonton soup I've had in a few years. For my entree I had the moo goo gai pan. This is a fairly simple dish to prepare and get right, yet so many places who try to do the upscale PF Chang's thing get wrong - including PF Chang's. The moo goo gai pan was spot on. Perfect. My wife and daughter ordered kung pao chicken and orange chicken. Their dishes were great as well. If I'm here on business or if I bring the family to visit, I'm sure I'll be eating here again.
(4)L.A. H.
Went for dinner last night. Had tried them when they first opened and it was ok, but decided to try it again. They have really figured it out. Everything was great, happy hour prices were excellent. They will make your food as spicy as you want, we got the orange chicken extra spicy and the fried rice, both were excellent. Also split the Korean wings, the sauce is incredible. We liked the hot and sour soup as well. The service was good, they seem to care about customer service. It's a plus too that the interior is a nice atmosphere as well. Will definitely be going back.
(5)Paul L.
Ordered the Chirashi and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs...was so so....not sure I will go back again. Also ordered the Saba (i.e. mackerel) and the chef said sure, then 10 min later the hostess said that it was not fresh enough for then to serve to customers. I was surprised the chef didn't tell me that directly. It's my dumb own fault, should've picked up on the hints.... thy other items may not be fresh either. Again, it was ok. Back in October of 2013 the place had really good food. Not such the case on this particular visit though.
(2)Joey B.
I have visited here twice and had bad service both times. The food is really good but I won't give back to a place with poor service. The staff wasn't knowledgeable about the menu and they weren't attentive to our table. Hopefully the management will correct these issues because there is potential for a great restaurant here.
