Always love eating here. Very consistent. Love the fried okra, mac n cheese, green beans, and hash brown casserole.

Many years ago, my family frequently stopped at CB while on the road. A few years later, I tried to boycott them but my family usually won out - I never went on my own. Now that I am living in the South again (and assume - hope - that their employee policies have changed) I am in love with CB again. Love whatever I order. Wait staff is always friendly, usually fast but not always. And some times they kept me well stocked on sweet tea - and other times the glass is constantly empty. Good value. I'll be back! (along with my family)

I have been to several Cracker Barrel's on my travels, and this one is pretty good! The main reason I like it, i it's open for breakfast on a Sunday!! (The Heathens!!!). And it is near my house. I love the Country boy breakfast, Country Ham, 3 eggs, Biscuits, Gravy, Grits, cheese potatoes.......Mmmmmmmmmm. They leave me alone to just sit and eat and catch up on my Nature and Science reading.

Took 30 mins to get my order-waitress said she tossed my order she thought I had gotten my food-it didn't happen

Outstanding. We don't eat there as often as we like. Last time the food and service were exceptionally good and we decided to go back and see if that was a fluke or if they were the same. They are still exceptional. The service was polite and fast. We were seated within a very few minutes and had our meals within 10 minutes. The food was great. The management ion this location has discovered the secret to running a great place to eat. The building was immaculate and orderly. I had chicken livers and my wife had fried catfish. We will be regular customers.

Tonight my fiance and I went to dinner and ordered off the breakfast menu. From the second I ordered I specifically let the server know that I wanted my eggs OVER MEDIUM. I made sure to put emphasis on the fact that I did not want them too runny. Once another server dropped off our food I cut open the egg and it ran all over the plate and she offered to have them remade since she saw that the ticket said over medium eggs. The remade eggs were EXACTLY the same. I asked to speak with the manager... This is what he said after I told him my issue with the eggs... "I made those eggs myself. Here at Cracker Barrel this is how we make over medium eggs, the white is hard while the inside is soft. Do you want me to remake them?" I declined since I had already specified twice within 20 mins what I wanted. Over medium eggs ARE NOT DIFFERENT at different restaurants. I appreciate that he offered to remake them again as it is his job to make sure I am happy... However agruing with me when I have already told him and two servers that the eggs were too runny is NOT the appropriate way to approach the guest. When a customizable item is not to the guests liking then there should be zero backlash on the part of management or any other staff. I could understand if I was asking him to change the flavor of the gravy or the biscuits... But this is not the case. My complaint is no longer about the eggs, but how the manager approached the situation. Needless to say, I left there upset tonight. P.S. I posted a picture of my eggs. Also, the kitchen staff should learn how to make more than over ever easy and scrambled eggs.

We like Cracker Barrel. Or as my granddaughter use to call it "The Corn Place". They had a billboard with a huge ear of corn on it. As a general rule we enjoy our visits to the restaurant and have never had a bad meal. Until today. Granted its a holiday and there was maybe a shortage of help in the kitchen so we really weren't going to complain. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food and then most of it was cold. The gravy and grits were inedible. My wife is diabetic so we didn't say much to the waitress, we just wanted to eat. When we checked out the cashier asked the obligatory question....was everything ok. So we told her. She called the manager and we told her too. Debbie, the manager, took care of the whole bill. Wow. We REALLY weren't looking for that. Really we would have been happy with a discount but Debbie wouldn't hear of it. She apologized and is the reason we'll be back. It might take awhile but we'll be back.

Generally love their biscuits, chicken and dumplings, etc...especially their turnip greens! Man! Tonight, however, was different. Though I was in a rush, that was not the issue. It was busy and I dealt with the wait. But I ordered the plain hash browns with my sirloin-egg-grits-biscuits combo. The sirloin had a good taste, but if I'd tanned all the gristle I found in it, I'd have shoelaces for a year. They brought gravy I asked to omit, brought hash brown casserole (WHICH I HATE) when I slowly, specifically, nicely asked for plain, and brought one strawberry jelly when I asked for a bunch of blackberry...only. And the grits were cold. I couldn't melt the butter, even when mashing it. CB needs to get their act together. It's one of the few bad experiences I've ever had there, but they made it memorable. I had a good waiter, but didn't have time to send 65% of my food back. It was the kitchen's fault.

One of my recommended Cracker Barrel dinners: GRILLed chicken fingers, carrots, green beans, and spiced apples (for desert) Yelp tries to be helpful and asked me if they have "outdoor seating" As in typical of all Cracker Barrels, they "have outdoor seating" but not for Dining... just relaxing on the patio in one of their rocking chairs.
