If you are sick of froyo, then this is the place for you! There's just not enough of these places around. So happy to have a really good ice cream shop near my home. The ice cream is great with lots of flavors from which to choose. Lots of sundaes to pick plus you can create your own. Great milkshakes. Prices are good and there is a kids size as well which is perfect for me and my diet ; ). Outdoor and indoor seating is available.

Brewster's prices (maybe more--$8.00 for two one scoopers?) and now generic ice cream. (Is bluebell coming back?) I can sure tell the difference. Then the girl gave me a bad time about using my Amex--asked me three times if I would use a different card. I like to use it. I get points for it. How much more can it cost them? Pretty much run by HS kids. It's close, and it's local.

It's little shops like this that make it hard to go to Marble Slab, Coldstone, and Yoforia. Sometimes you just want the real, homemade thing and this is IT! For the cheap I got 2 scoops (really 4) for our family including a brownie sundae where we got to choose the type of ice cream used. Add ons weren't extra, service was all about the customer. I could get used to this. Water was complimentary and we could enjoy the ice cream as a family wit our very spacious table. I will definitely bring the family back here along with my sweet tooth! Great ice cream...great place.

Our normal experience is this place is wonderful...as long as the owner is around. As an example, as soon as he walked out the door this afternoon, the two young ladies were more interested in what was taking place in/with their phones, than the customers, or wiping down the tables for the next customers. We would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the employee issues.

Blue Bell Ice Cream is the "crack" of ice cream! Great little mom and pop ice cream shop. Everyone was really nice. Quick and efficient. Will definitely be back!

This place is adorable. The staff was beyond sweet, it was clean.... The only issue I had was the ice cream is a bit icy. They use blue bell ice cream so if your a fan of that you will probably be happy. Wanted to love this place for the staff and the cute decor but the ice cream was ....o-k-a-y.

We stayed in Hoover for the night on our way back from Florida.. We wanted ice cream, so we did a search on my iPhone and this was the closest place. The staff was very friendly.. And also very patient as we had NO idea what we wanted. The red velvet cake ice cream might be the best I've ever had.. It was delicious, and very fairly priced!

Nice to have a real ice cream shop in Hoover with plenty of old school flavors. Top notch service too.
