Love the gyros...but kind of pricey for the quality/quantity of what you get

I hate to do this to Taziki's, but if you want a good restaurant experience, this is NOT the location to choose. I workout a lot, so I commonly order an extra protein, grilled veggies and fruit along with my talapia & rice. I asked for no salad about three times since feta cheese is absurdly unhealthy. It took 3 employees about 4 long minutes to key-in this order while one of the cooks looked over their shoulder and started the order. Attitudes became more & more sullen with each attempt to enter my order. I was the only polite person involved:) This staff is uncharacteristically devoid of affect. Zero personality. When the most bumbling of the employees brought my food, I pointed to the salad underneath my talapia and said "I ordered no salad" and he mumbled "he already put it on there so it was too late". Good thing I don't have a dairy allergy or the whole plate would have been sent back. No apology, mind you. Just some furtive mumbling. As I ate the rather undercooked veggies and the unseasoned chicken, I curiously waited to see if the manager would ask how my meal was. He made 6 trips past my table without eye contact or anything. When the original bumbler came back to take plates away, I asked him to leave the plates and send out the manager. Suddenly, the manager was nowhere to be seen. I was planning on recommending a training session for his employees, not requesting a refund. I left. This is not a representative location for this otherwise outstanding restaurant chain. No wonder it was nearly empty at 6pm.

This was my third time for takeout at Taziki's. I had the pork loin feast. About 5 hours after eating it i was awakened with nasuea and stomach pain. I then had 3 bouts of vomiting (every two hours). It is a day and a half later and i have had nothing to eat since. Just some gatorade and buillion. i won't be going back!

I found it just OK. Fish was kind of soggy, rice was hard and had large clumps of salt in it. The fare is definitely greek with a different flare. I would make the analogy that this is like the "Greek" Panera bread. Somewhat generic.

This is a good place to catch a quick lunch. Service is counter order, and they bring your order to your table when it's ready. The restaurant is casual and the quality of the whole experience is a lot better than a fast food stop. I like the chicken feast that includes a nice fresh salad and a side. I also like the dolmades, but this is the only place I've ever tried one. A dolmade is a mixture of rice, ground meat, and seasoning wrapped in a grape leaf (rolled like an egg roll). You eat the grape leaf. The flavor is hard to describe; it 's a light tangy taste and very hard to compare with anything else that I've eaten. I think there are three dolmades in an order and i really enjoyed them.

As promised I now updated my review to a 4 star since they seem to have fixed the a/c. No complaints now.

The food was great and reasonably priced. I had the Greek chicken salad, with a side to cucumber and tomatoes. My daughter had the chicken Gyro with seasoned potatoes. She is a picky eater and liked it. I wasn't sure if I should just leave my plates on the table, and I did as I didn't see trash cans. Place was clean, but the set up can be better.

Came in and had the grilled tilapia. It was really tasty. Taziki's seems to offer good quality, healthy food at decent prices. I know it's a chain but good job guys. One suggestion is to move your drink machine away from your pickup counter. That seems to cause traffic jams with people waiting on food and people trying to get their drinks.

I'm in love with this place. Their Friday pasta is to die for! I love the pork sandwich with roasted potatoes and extra chutney aioli! Love love love this place! Service is great too and so are their salads!!!!

I visited Taziki's during lunch and, after finally tasting the food, I just don't get what draws people to this place. Maybe it's the convenience to many office complexes in the area. I had the tilapia and...it was just tilapia. I should probably go back and give this place another try, but I'm pretty sure I never will. The struggle to find a park just isn't worth the likely disappointment. Nearby Alternative: Naji's Pita Gourmet

Kinda a dissapointment today. and I always get the same thing the chicken salad sandwich with tomato cucumber salad as my side. my salad was so sour from the dressing couldnt taste the vegetables. the bread was dry and the lettuce was overpowering my sandwich. you can be better....

I have been to many Greek restaurants all over the country, both chain and local mom and pop places. Nothing tasted Greek at Taziki's. The Gyros were meager portions for the money. My Greek salad did not have one Calamata olive, and maybe, at best 3 extremely small pieces of feta cheese. The worst was, I was dying for Greek Lemon Chicken Soup. What I got was, literally, Mexican Chicken Tortilla soup. When I went up to the counter to complain, I noticed the cooks and food preparers were all Mexican, and speaking Spanish. Well, I guess that explains my soup transformation. They must think people from Alabama don't know the difference!?!

I thought Taziki's as good. Gyro was tasty if not a little "fancy"...I have never had one before in any place that was that slick. You order and then sit eventhough the restaurant has does not seem to be that kind of a place. The system worked well though. Menu was good an comprehensive. Staff was fine if not a little rushed. The locations is in a higher end new box shopping center. Not your usual greek location, but well worth a visit. I will go back again.

So Taziki's is nothing uber-special but the food is fine for the money. I like going here in a pinch and don't want fast food (I consider this medium food). Tasty. Try the dolmades, they are to die for!

I was visiting and we decided on this place to try..I always love good Greek food! I ordered the basic boring chicken pita and my boyfriend ordered the pesto chicken pita. I have a feeling their Greek salads would have been amazing because I got a side thing of dressing for the pesto sandwich because it was overwhelmingly pesto-y.... I believe Pesto is such a tricky spice...if not enough the food it totally bland and if too much the flavor is overbearing. With the help of the dressing it was okay. The sandwiches came with a side which I chose the tomato and onion salad which was marinaded in the Greek dressing and was delicious! I love TOMATO'S! The other side we got was the rice which had no flavor..it really was just rice. It also came with chips. All-in all for a wrap, side and chips it was a really good deal and I thought the chicken was really moist and delicious. I would just try something different to give the actual GREEK side a chance :)

The name of this restaurant is perfect. Taziki, which is an incorrect spelling of tzatziki. This is the least Mediterranean, Mediterranean restaurant on the history of the planet. Lettuce and meat, served with Mediterranean *inspired* sauces. Several staples of the Mediterranean diet completely missing. Don't get me started on the entrees.... But seriously, how exactly does one operate a Mediterranean restaurant and not serve baba ganoush or tabbouleh??? The menu is extremely limited. The quality of lamb is so low grade.....100% no doubt in my mind it's frozen and probably comes in packs of 50, from Tyson Foods, Inc. This place was such a disappointment....I can't even. Save your money, drive the distance into the city to the real thing.

Chain restaurant review here, so expect consistency. I visited with a group of 7 for lunch. Everyone one ordered one after another, but the salads seemed to take much longer to come out for some reason over the baked sandwiches. I ordered the grilled lamb salad, which was good. I appreciate a restaurant that serves lamb, as it is not frequently served in chains in the US. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but if in the area, I'd come back if the line was too long at the Cuban restaurant down the road.

My husband and I had lamb gyros here. They were ok. The sauce was much more watery than I am used to. They used grilled lamb rather than lamb loaf - honestly would have preferred the spit-roasted lamb. Sides were ok. Husband had fresh fruit and I had pasta salad. Was surprised there were no olives in the pasta salad, which was ok for me because I don't like them. Seemed a bit pricey for quick type meal.

We've been here a few times over the years. I like to go here for salads and gyros. On this particular occasion I had the lamb gyro and my wife had the caesar salad. I liked the flatbread they used for the gyro, and, the lamb was okay. I think since we got there for a late lunch, the lamb suffered from having been prepared much earlier. My wife's caesar salad was fresh, but not exceptional. The restaurant has daily specials and the Taziki's Pasta they do on the weekends is certainly worth trying once. It is good and is served with pita wedges so it is quite filling, too. We have had it a few times.

Taziki's is one of those places that a REAL man never thinking of eating at, the name Taziki's doesn't sound right, it's sounds like one of those salad place where sorority chick go for dinner, but once you eat there your opinion will change, they offer a wide variety of dishes, and it never disappoints me. The food is great and the service is quick. P.S. Friday Special is Amazing!
