My favorite place for coffee au lait in birmingham/homewood area

Fancy coffees confuse me. I'd reall like to order something clever and creative, but I usually fall back to a latte. At least this time I remembered to ask for fat free milk and some hazelnut syrup. Friendly service from the dude (he seemed like a dude to me, as opposed to "guy" or "man") at the window. GREAT COFFEE. Super smooth, very rich and not too powerful at all. I'll be back.

I love the Hollywood here. It's one of my favorite drinks to get. The Broadway us a tad bit too sweet. I also love their muffins. I always get a muffin. They are good and huge.

I love this place! Great coffee! I love getting the "broadway" iced! It's so convenient having a drive thru in Homewood! Their only downfall is their hours of operation. I can't tell you how many times I've driven there craving the broadway and its closed :(

Maybe I should've sprung for an "expresso" drink, since that's what the little red shop is named for, but I went with my old standby: dark roast coffee, black. I accompanied the coffee with one of their pimento cheese biscuits and added sausage ($1 upcharge). Service was speedy and friendly, and I was pulling out mere minutes after pulling up to one of the building's two drive through lanes. The coffee was too hot to handle for a little while (which was fine, since I still had a couple errands to run before getting back to the office). However, the biscuit was not so fortunate in its defense array, and the aroma of melty pimento and sausage was not going away on its own. So I ate the biscuit and saved the coffee for later - easy enough. The biscuit melted in my mouth and the pimento cheese was an *amazing* combo with the sausage. When the coffee stopped melting my cupholder I began sipping on it - pretty good, but nothing extraordinary, so for me, this visit was all about the biscuit.

I am still thinking about the Espresso Drink I had a week ago! It was called "The Broadway." It was a strong espresso latte mixed with carmel and white chocolate and it was heavenly. I originally tried this Coffee (and more), place because I purchased a Sharing Spree voucher for it. Even though it is 15 minutes from my house, it is well worth the drive. The drive-thru windows on each side make it very convenient. They serve coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches and much more. Everything we have tried has been great. For a tiny place, they pack a punch! LOVE IT!!!
