We have been waiting over one hour and have still not been served. The tables are not being bussed, there are not enough servers and the restroom was out of toilet tissue and filthy.

The sign outside says "Brazlilian Steaks," whatever that is. When I went for lunch they were serving a traditional southern buffet w veggies fried chicken catfish salad bar but wait! They have fantastic Italian dishes I recommend the Fettucini Carbonara!!! As in MOST places that are successful and delicious, the OWNER IS ALWAYS THERE!

This is not a churrascara; not a Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao. Very dissapointed since I drove out from Huntsville. I must agree with another review - service is very slow and it does take quite a while to get the food. The ambience is not what I expected for a "cafe"....it's basically a bar that hosts live bands. There is nothing special about the food. Flavor was meh. Won't be coming back.

Our first time at night, we had the sirloin steak and fried flounder. Salads were excellent as well as the sides. (Rice, baked pot) steak was cooked exactly as ordered and of fine quality. Fish was lightly crusted and flakey.

Be aware as of this writing that the online menu (@ Facebook) is out of date. Actually, the menu offerings have been reduced in number. That being said, the ribeye steaks we ordered were well seasoned, tender, and very flavorful - surprisingly lean, too, for ribeyes. Also, prices for these steaks were reasonable, compared to most restaurants I've frequented in North Alabama. I intend to go back for the buffet, which I've never tried. It is quite popular with the locals.

Average food, terrible service. I've eaten here several times, trying to see if they will improve. But no... Each time is worse than the last I'm afraid.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant with excellent food and top notch service. No, it's not a "normal" Brazilian steakhouse, but the food they serve is the best in the county and I'd put it up against any restaurant in Birmingham or Huntsville. Nora is a wonderful hostess and owner and their filets are THE BEST! My favorite restaurant hands down in the area and every time I recommend this restaurant, the folks that try it (40+) literally RAVE about the food and service. Very surprising a reviewer gave it only 3 stars...especially considering they noted the food was good.

We went there last week when traveling on vacatuon. We went there at dinner. This is a tale of 2 restaurants. The front of the space is, ibelieve, where the lunch southern buffet is held, reviews by locals we talked to said lunch is really good. When we arrived that part of the resturant was empty. You had to go back to the way back of the building where the bar was located to see any employees. A bad band of 2 guys playing 80s music. We ordered the sampler appetizer. Everything was greatly over fried. The calimari was tough as rubber, the shrimp was tough, the cheese sticks were hollow, the mushrooms were the only well cooked item. Daughters hamburger was big and tasted good though over cooked. My steak and cheese sub had burned onions peppers and meat. Had it not been burned and greasy It would have been good. Husband had the worst shrimp and grits. The grits were like a watery soup, gravy was a burned nasty mess and the shrimp was mealy. The worst shrimp and grits ever. Epic bad. If you go just get a burger and fries. I told the waitress some of our complaints and no effort made to make it better.

Went there for lunch. We were told to sit wherever we wished when a guy came up and said he needed to seat us? We waited 25 minutes to get in our drink orders, then another 20 minutes to give our lunch order. After waiting another 20 minutes, no one came back to our table, we walked up and offered to pay for our drinks then left. My wife did have the lunch buffet and said it wasn't too bad. The three others never received their linch. We ended up going down the street to the Rock House and had an excellent experience.

did not have to wait to seat, only good thing to say, service very slow, got drinks, order side salads, there a full hour, got steaks , wife steak raw and cold, mine steak cold , look like it was cook with a iron, needed chain saw to cut it, sent them back told server going to leave, to get ticket to pay for salad and drinks sat for 15 minutes, got up a found her, said that going to comp two beers, tea, salad, second time been there , , will not be a third time

Disappointing. This was recommended by a co-worker as being a Brazilian steak house and a sign on the building actually says that. Having eaten at many Brazilian Steakhouses in Brazil and all over the U.S., I was expecting something like a churrascaria. Not even close. Neither the food, service nor the decor was remotely what I expected. This was simply a diner or cafe and bar. The menu was varied, with seafood, chicken, beef, sandwiches, burgers and pasta dishes. Only two items on the menu were described as "Brazilian." Something like a "Brazilian sausage sandwich" and a "Brazilian steak." Even these were not featured prominently on the menu. The rest were typical southern U.S. fare, including shrimp and grits. The food was good and the service was adequate, and for that reason I give it grudging 3 stars. However, if I were rating this as a Brazilian steakhouse I'd give it one star (or none if I could) simply because of false advertising. My assumption, based on my experience, is that none of the owners or staff have been in a churrascaria and had no basis of comparison when they chose to call it a Brazilian steakhouse. My recommendation? It's okay if you're looking for a run of the mill southern restaurant. Go somewhere else if you're looking for something like Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil.
