There are so many great locally-owned restaurants in the Fairhope area that we don't go to many chain restaurants, but we went to Ruby's one evening and had the jambalaya pasta with andouille, chicken and shrimp. The pasta itself was good, and the meat, seafood, peppers and onions, though plentiful, were blackened to the point of being extremely charred, tough and chewy. It could have been a really good dish if it hadn't been way overcooked. The salad bar is good with lots of fresh ingredients, but it was hard to overlook the poor preparation of the entree.

Wow. Total rudeness masked with a bright smile! The perky, condescending blonde handling to-go orders was stunningly rude! And smiling the whole time. I regret leaving even 10% tip.

If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter likes one of their dishes so sometimes I have to go there with her. We ordered. Her food came. Mine did not. I had ordered the Petite Sirloin It was overcooked. I complained and was offered a free dessert. I went on line to Ruby Tuesday's and complained. I received a phone call from the regional manager. He said he would send a coupon for a free meal. I never received it, but that really isn't the point. I went back with my daughter a second time. My daughter's food came but the waitress said that the kitchen had overcooked my steak and was making another. They brought the (second steak they cooked) and it was overdone. I sent it back. The manager brought it the next time and waited until I cut into it. Once again! It was well done. I had ordered medium rare. To her credit the manager offered another, but I told her I was hungry and would just eat it the way it was. I haven't even reviewed the staff. They are sloppily dressed and couldn't care less if the tried.

Ruby Tuesday is normally okay, it's a step above an iHop IMO. I've probably eaten at a dozen or so in different towns and this one is by far the worst, ever. If Ruby Tuesday was hell, this would be the one at the very bottom of the abyss. Every time a patron walks through the door a baby pony is sacrificed to the god of horrible tasting food on hopes of making your experience so horrid you will be scarred for life. The veggies on the salad bar were rotting, the food arrived burnt (seriously, how do you burn pre-prepped food!?!), the service was terrible, the place stinks like a strip club off a naval pier in Pearl Harbor, and nobody gives a damn because the management is off doing who knows what with whoever.

Everybody goes to ruby Tuesday because of their salads, right? Maybe true for most but not for this place!!! When I got to the garden bar there was no lettuce. After waiting a couple of minutes I flagged the waitress down and she promptly yelled into the kitchen for someone to restock the salad bar. They must have sent the bus boy because she had no idea the difference between romaine, iceberg, or spinach leaves as she dumped them all mixing them up into any bin that would hold them! Next the famous broccoli salad was frozen & brown in parts and so cold you couldn't bite into it. The pasta salad was pasta without any sort of dressing on it, cheese was gone and when they finally replaced it there was zero flavor and they never brought out anymore croutons. I'm sorry but this place absolutely gets a -1 for salad bar care! My husband ordered steak medium rare and yep, you guessed it...couldn't have been more well done! There needs to be a serious overhaul in management in this place or else we will likely never return!

Food is fine, staff is unbelievably uninterested in taking care of patrons. The young, lazy, snotty hostess could barely speak and seamed annoyed that she need to walk 100 feet to seat me. Waiter couldn't take drink order because he was too busy acting like a 10-year old with the hostess. Had to wait over 5 minutes for drink refill, only after having to interrupt waiter as he was leaving the section where we were seated, without checking to see if our table needed anything.

WRITING FROM THE EXPERIENCE MY FAMILY HAD AT THE RUBY TUESDAY LOCATED IN FAIRHOPE, AL. My family and I had a VERY VERY bad experience. We looked at our menus, then decided to place our order, I ordered a Raspberry Unsweet tea. By the way, Their Raspberry Ice Tea has real raspberry seeds in it. I had it sent back and just decided to get a Unsweet Tea. Our server came with my drink, but when we got our food, a different waiter came up and forgot my moms food. Then, my mom had her food delivered, but again ANOTHER WAITER!!!! Then, my brother wanted some more ketchup for his chicken and french fries, so my mom waved her hand over to the hostess table, The ENTIRE group of waiters and waitresses were talking and then my mom waved her hand AGAIN! Then, my mom had to get up and then someone FINALLY saw her after she stopped eating her that was late, then having to almost walk all the way over to the front hostess table, I'd say that this Ruby Tuesday is very slow and inconvenient. I'd rather have gone to a McDonalds! BY THE WAY, IF I COULD I WOULDN'T HAVE PUT EVEN ONE STAR!!
