OMG!!! What a find. One of the best BBQ places we've eaten at in Alabama. Situated one block off Main Street downtown Enterprise, Alabama is a real find and a must go to for anyone that appreciates great BBQ. Make sure to come early because when they are out of a product that's it.

There is no reason why anyone should rate Big Daddy's BBQ less than 5 stars :) This is my favorite place to eat in Enterprise and has been for years! The (humongous) BBQ baked potato is my favorite dish, but everything on the menu is delicious. The restaurant offers a very cozy atmosphere and the friendly hospitality can't be beat! I tell everyone I know who rolls through Enterprise about Big Daddy's!

Love the rib plate! The ribs are fall off the bone and have a delicious sauce. The sides of Texas toast beans and coleslaw are also excellent. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has a very homey feel. You can tell there are a lot of regulars that come in quite often and the staff greet them all warmly. The pulled pork sandwiches are also very good! I haven't tried anything else on the menu because I can't seem to tear myself away from my usual of ribs. Be sure to bring cash because they don't have a card swiper.

I came here on Tuesday night. It's basically a house that's been renovated to a "restaurant". The decor is very home-like with glass display cases, various pictures hung up, a tv. But it was hot and muggy inside(despite the fans). There were 3 plastic tables set up with chairs. The owners were friendly. I was disappointed because the selection was totally limited. My options were a pork plate with beans and coleslaw or a jumbo sandwich (no regular sandwich option). So go figure, we ordered one of each. The pork was good, the sauce was ok, beans were meh, coleslaw was not special. It came to $17+ change. I won't go back due to extremely limited selection, uncomfortable seating, etc. I get it's Alabama but Yelp let me down!

The place doesn't look like much, but the food is incredible. The friendliest owners, truly grateful for your business, serving the most amazing BBQ. The pork plate and baked potato were plenty for two people. Worth a return trip from Toronto.

I stopped here with a group of 4 buddies heading north returning from spring break. We had been driving for hours looking for something good to eat. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. I got the pork plate which comes with two sides, toast and tea. The plate alone costs $10 but they had a special for 2 plates for $15, so my buddy and I went in on the deal. The portion was incredibly generous and the pork was very tasty. The sides were equally delicious and the sweet tea was the best I've ever add. If you're looking for something off the beaten path, I highly recommend stopping through. Big Daddy and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Best bbq we have had since we've been in the south. Big Daddy and his wife are just as amazing as the food!

Best bbq in town. Make sure you call before you go to make sure they have what you want.

Wouldn't eat there again with a gun to my families heads. $10 for dried pulled pork and rubber ribs. Then at the end you put your plastic plates and silverware in the plastic tub. I'm genuinely not sure if they reuse them. I say that only in half jest. What I say sincerely is that with drink, this is a $4.99 meal, at best. Save your money and go somewhere, anywhere else.

THE REAL DEAL FOLKS!!! Love the food, love the "mom & pop feel," and love this family. Was visiting for business and found myself eating there two nights in a row. CAN'T get any better than this and really made an impression on this TEXAN! Thank you for the hospitality and CAN NOT WAIT to come back.

Decided to try out Big Daddy's based on the Yelp reviews and because it's a hole-in-the-wall eatery. They are famous for the BBQ-bake potato but I didn't try that. I went for the pork plate with baked beans and coleslaw. Plate comes with a delicious buttered-grilled piece of bread. It quite possibly could be the best pulled pork I've ever eaten. I'm from TN and have traveled the country eating a fair share of BBQ. So saying it might be the best ever, is really saying something, and they've taken top notch over my previous favorite in Chicago (Steamboat BBQ). The baked beans were also the best I've ever eaten. The tea is fresh brewed, and besides water and lemonade, the only choice. It is delicious as I expected! And $1! The desert selections include several large cake slices. Also for $1!!! As a side note, I was not a fan of the coleslaw, it had a peculiar flavor to it. I can't wait to come back!!!

I searched BBQ on yelp and made the choice to try Big Daddy's baked potato. It lives up to the hype! Sooo delicious. Current special is 2 for $15. I'm not sure we needed two, but one for lunch tomorrow perhaps.

Good BBQ and fixins and nice people but prices are a bit higher then should be. Menu says pulled pork potato comes with mild/hot sauce but come to find out that if you want hot sauce you have to buy a entire bottle at additional cost. wtf?

I am a really tough critic for BBQ because it's my favorite kind of food and I've had it all over the globe. Big Daddy's BBQ was the BEST BBQ I have ever had... In my life! Seriously! I wish I could give them 6 stars! I just say there after my meal and was dumbfound! The whole place is the size of my living room and you serve yourself for drinks. My boyfriend and I shared two plates. One with Ribs and one with the pulled pork... Both with the beans and coleslaw. The ribs were out of this world amazing! I do not know how he does it, but the flavors explode in your mouth! The pulled pork was perfect once I added some homemade sauce (I mixed the mild and hot for a good combo) and the beans... I am going back tomorrow to order a pint of them to take back home (about an hour away). I will definitely be driving back to enterprise soon.... Just for the food! Seriously, if you are passing through, or even relatively near by.... This place is a MUST try! Also the chef ( Big Daddy himself) and the waitress were the sweetest and nicest people ever! So down to earth and just happy to be doing what they love! I can't say it enough.... You have to try it!!!

We ordered the BBQ baked potato and it was easily enough food for two grown adults. It was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of toppings.

Great find while traveling. Very good BBQ. Melt in your mouth ribs. The loaded potato with pork was yummy and very filling. Homemade sauce is the right blend of sweet, tangy and spicy. Will definitely make the effort to visit again. Don't bring plastic. It's cash only. No sodas just tea or water.

Big Daddy's BBQ is the place in Enterprise where BBQ is king! the baked potato is one of the best items i have ever had, period! the only drawback is that ribs are only available on Friday so i cannot comment on them just yet, but everyone i talked to stated the ribs are to die for. the sweet tea can be bottled up and sold anywhere! greatest stuff i have had in a while. this place is right under Salt Lick BBQ when it comes to ratings.

We stopped in here to eat one day and I was all keyed up to have me some spare ribs but unfortunately a car dealership was having some big to-do and had just come in and bought up everything they had left so I was stuck getting the pulled pork. Now, I have read many other BBQ joint reviews where people get pulled pork all the time. I'm not one of those people.... However, I have no choice but to put my spare-rib snobbery behind me and get the pulled prok....it was actually very good and I wasn't disapponted at all. It was very moist and had a really nice smokey flavor. The service was very friendly and the portions were generous also. The prices are pretty reasonable. I think three of us ate for about $30 although we usually don't get drinks since I refuse to pay $2 for a glass of soda (which is what most places charge but I didnt look at this place). A good place, I recommend stopping if you happen to be passing through Enterprise.

Order the pork baked potato with everything on it (butter, sour cream, cheese). If you can handle some heat, only use the hot sauce. That hot sauce is magic in a squeeze bottle. Enjoy. If you get there on a Friday or Saturday, you may want to try the ribs. ONLY if you've already had the baked potato. That's all you need to know. Oh, and say hi to Big Daddy as well.

Wow, we went here after several locals recommended it and it did not disappoint. I chose the winning dish, the baked potato! This thing is a heart attack on a plate, but it tastes amazing. My husband and my mom both chose the ribs, while they were happy, both said that the baked potato was the best dish. If you love anything but the traditional restaurant atmosphere, you'll love this place. There is no music and sound bounces around like you are in a tin can ( there was a very excited toddler when we went, so the sound was accentuated). The decor is interesting and fits the paper plate, kitschy, casual atmosphere of the place. We travel a lot and love to eat at nice restaurants, if you are looking for this, don't come to Big Daddy's, but if you want to venture out, the baked potato is worth it, and so much more

This place is wonderful! Great homemade BBQ sauce, great pulled pork and the baked potato with sour cream, cheese, butter and the pork is quite possibly the greatest food combination I've ever had. They only have baked beans, rice and coke slaw as sides, I had the beans and they were also amazing. Only drink choices are tea and lemonade. I will definitely be going back frequently.
(5)David B.
Excellent, I had a pound of the pork with the hot barbecue sauce. Awesome? Down to earth place, nice and simple. I would recommend it to anyone. Smoky from the cooking, but tolerable.

Used Yelp to find this one. I'm glad I did. I love BBQ and I'm always fascinated on the different techniques used in the preparation and final product. I had the pulled pork plate with fries, cole slaw and texas toast. Everything was great. The pulled pork had little fat and was as fresh as it gets. The fries were hot and the slaw was very creamy. I usually like a slaw that is has less mayo than normal, but this turned out to be quite good. The service was better than average and the female that was running the front was very nice. They ask for your name on the order and then call you by it when they check on you. Very personal service. Which is very rare these days. The dinning area was clean and so were the tables. The bathroom was clean also, but has the common mistake of having the door swing inward, so I had to touch the knob on the way out (yes, I'm a germ-a-phob). Great service and great food, I would visit this place again.

We drove from San Francisco, California back to Alabama and the first place we stopped before reaching our destination was Big Daddy's. I noticed a lot of people order the wrong item from the menu here. So far I've tried everything. At first I was not pleased. I ordered the ribs, then the BBQ chicken, then the pulled pork. It was expensive and blah. THEN...a local (flight instructor) hinted I should try the potato. WHY?? Why would I order a potato at a BBQ place. OMFG!! The BBQ Pulled Pork Potato was heaven. It's 2 baked Potatoes rubbed with butter and cooked just right. Smothered with butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and pulled pork topped with Big Daddy's homemade MILD BBQ sauce. I know when I stand next to big daddy, I only account for his left leg, but this man can cook.
(5)Paul P.
Just so so. Doesn't have all items on menu so you best be there on a friday.
(3)Dan O.
Big Daddy's is outstanding! This is where you go to get the best BBQ in Enterprise. Larry's is nothing compared to Big Daddy's. The portions are very big and filling.
(5)Christopher G.
The portions were big, but the meat was really dry, and did not have any flavor. The homemade sauce was pretty good, but that was the only flavor to the whole meal. I took family there for my first visit, and I was embarrassed that I took them there. They serve your food on paper plates, and plastic cups, and the only drinks they had were tea and lemonade. The people were super friendly. The space was really small as well. I won't be going back there anytime soon.

There is one thing to have a Big Daddy's and that is the Stuffed Potatoe. It is a HUGE meal, so bring an empty stomach. The seating is not the greatest, but Big Daddy and his wife are the friendliest people in the world. So say hello to Big Daddy, and enjoy the food. It is a friendly place with a great dish.

Had the baked potatoe whichg was pretty good. service is slow but food is good. Dining room was a bit smoky from the kitchen. Heard from a friend that went here a few weeks ago that makes me never want to go to this place again. He took his family here and long story short, they had no large potatoe's which is their speciality and they waited over an hr for food. when they asked about their food the server said the cook would be right back he just had to run to the store to get stuff to make coleslaw? Who sends their cook to the store in the middle of making an order? They walked out and I will prob never go back after hearing this story.

Very good barbecue! Big portions and sauce is great. I would recommend carryout as the restaurant is very small. Staff is courteous.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Baked potato with BBQ and chees and all kinds of stuff. I love the home like atmosphere. Great BBQ.

OK, first of all the address listed here is incorrect. Its supposed to be 205 N Rawls St. The phone number is correct though. So we stopped in for lunch and I was pretty pleased. The menu is quite simple, pork chicken and beef. Sides are beans, slaw or chips. Prices are resonable, but the one drawback is they dont have a lunch menu. So if you come for lunch you better bring an appetite and plan on having food coma in the next hour! The dining room is one room and rather small, so I would recommend take away if you are coming for dinner as the crowd gets rather large. The ribs were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was quite unique. Its a vinegar based sauce, which is nothing new, but it reminded me of almost a Thai chili sauce along with that traditional bar b que flavor. Not a sweet sauce, which was a nice break from the norm. YUM!
