Living proof that we are going through the end times and the world is within 1,000 yrs of tribulation. The place was almost empty but that didn't stop my wife from making us three rounds of drinks before I got pissed enough to call the manager over. He offered to refund our tip we had already put on the check and take our steak order. I waited for the 8 minutes he said it would take to get the steaks and continued to watch the mexican party get their drinks and yeast rolls brought out by the servers. We never saw our server or yeast rolls. I got up and told my wife let's go and a server appeared and wanted to know if we wanted our steaks -- which weren't done yet -- I said hell no I've had enough. I think their brains done melted out their damned heads. I wouldn't go back to this hole if they gave me coupons for free food. I'm just waiting on the rest of decatur to wise up and boycott the place so the space can be used for something useful.

We happened to be in Decatur after an outing, and thought Carrot Cake for desert sounded great. Thus stopped by the Ryan's hoping it would be worth-while (the Huntsville location is horrible). However, that Saturday night the desert buffet was picked clean, with no Carrot Cake (but still the display sign above the empty station), and not much else. In addition, soft-serve ice cream machine had the "out of order" sign. As far as the rest of the adventure, very typical of the style, quality, and decor associated with the Buffets, Inc umbrella (Ryan's, Old Country Buffet, Hometown Buffet, etc). -- the carving station and other entrees were OK, but nothing to really brag about -- the salad bar was decently stocked -- Our saturday night, the place was busy with typical middle-class families and lots of kids. If we happen to be in Decatur, we MIGHT try this place again.

Nice place to stop and eat. The buffet food was piping hot. The salad bar was nicely prepared. There were plenty of desserts to choose from. Our server took our orders for custom odered steaks from the grill. Then she brought them as soon as they were ready. The smell was so tantalizing, I couldn't wait to grab a bite. They were so delicious! The server was nice and so were the rest of the staff. The bathrooms were clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. The overall price was good. They have a place for children to play games as well. It is a very family oriented restaurant. I am very surprised to see the ratings for this restaurant so low. My fiance was just looking at Yelp while we were standing in line. I knew the ratings had to be off. I had been to this Restaurant when it was called Fire Mountain . The Manager was constantly walking around asking customers if all was ok and if we needed anything. When business picked up a bit, more waitresses were added to the floor to cover any slack. They helped each other. I call that teamwork!

The only good thing about this place was our server. Unfortunatly, they only had two servers on duty for dinner rush and the place was pretty busy. They had a LARGE party booked and our poor server had them and regular tables. The food was NOT good. A lot of items had been sitting since lunch. You pay $11.50 for dinner and is so not worth it. The grill cook was rude and had no clue what he was doing. Management was nowhere to be found while his staff was getting their butts kicked. Really needs a good clean up all around. We usually hit a Ryan's if we see one but NEVER EVER coming to this one again. Not worth it. Please do not waste your hard earned money on this dump. Go to Cici's instead.

This place is disgusting! Dirty restaurant! Dirty dishes!! Soupy macaroni!! Looks like someone cut the cake and pie with their hands!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I would give it zero stars but this app wont let me. So I will give it 1 star because it looks nice from the outside!! Oh and the hostess name Ashley was quite rude! We should have known not to eat here when she was our first encounter upon entering the restaurant. The health department needs to check this place out! I'm sure it will be closed soon!

If I could give less than one star I would. I would also suggest a tetanus shot and not using the bathroom while here. We had not been here in a while and decided to try it again. This is one of the dirtiest places I have been. There were stacks of dirty dishes on tables, flies and the carpet is just plain nasty. Bathrooms were so bad I would not let my kids use them. Wet floors and overflowing toilets seem to be OK with management. As for the food...well....yeah. Some of the salads were a little warmer than they should have been and most of the food on the hot bar was obviously not fresh since it was crusty and some things just had a spoonful of whatever was supposed to be in there. However, the one bright spot was the servers. They are very friendly and sweet and you can tell that they are doing the best with what they have to work with.
