Greek Cuisine
Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.

Flourescent green tables and orange chairs - yeow! Not the most appetizing decor! Those colors cast an eerie glow in the whole place. I LOVE food, I usually eat EVERYTHING on my plate, but the uneasy glow in this restaurant made me think twice about leaving in the middle of my meal... I ordered their grilled chicken plate - grilled chicken breast with their Greek Salad, pita bread, and choice of rice pilaf or pasta salad. My food arrived within minutes of ordering. The rice in a styrofoam cup, and everything on a styrofoam plate - except, they didn't give me the pita bread. By the time I realized they hadn't given me the bread, I was so turned off by the whole experience, I didn't care. The chicken was thoroughly seasoned, but dry. The salad, which was composed of 2 dark olives, one half of a cherry tomato, red onions, one slice of green bell pepper, feta, and iceberg lettuce, was more than half the plate, but was starting to turn - lots of brown pieces. The rice pilaf was edible. It was the only thing I finished. The staff was friendly, but the food and ambiance, bleck!

The food is great and you a really hefty serving for the price! I ordered the Hummus Plate and ate less than half of it, not because it wasn't fantastic, but because there was so much food. They didn't scrimp on the olives, which was a major bonus.

When I visit the Ham, I almost always stop here for the chicken salad sampler plate (the best for everything) AND the chocolate cake. I could seriously eat an entire sheet of this cake. Seriously....

Very light, fresh greek fare! I wasn't that hungry so just got the side greek salad...perfect size and amount of feta, and their dressing is really really good. Tried some of the chicken kebabs and rice...chicken was great and the rice was amazing. I will be a regular from now on :)

I love and miss Zoe's. 9 out of 10 times I get the spinach quesadilla. Before I moved from AL, my stepmother asked where I wanted to eat, and knowing it would be a long time before I had Zoe's again, I decided to get my quesadilla. Whomever I'm eating with always enjoys their meal, whether it be a chicken roll-up, sandwich, or the chicken plate, potato salad, pasta salad, or coleslaw. It's all good. I've never had a bad meal at this place. I've only eaten at the Summit and Mobile locations, but they were always clean, and the staff was always friendly. Did I say I like their quesadilla?

I have eaten at Zoe's for years, but my experience this time was so great that I had to say something. The food was awesome as always, but the service was amazing. When I went to the counter to order I told the lady that I was on a diet. She was then SUPER helpful in helping me choose something that would fit in my diet. She told me about their new tuna salad that is made with no mayo. When I questioned her on how it would taste she actually went back to the kitchen and got me a sample. And, after I sat down and got my food she actually came out to find out how I liked it. Keep in mind that this was during a busy lunch rush and they were packed. Her name was Jennifer and she gets 5 stars in my book for amazing customer service.

A good place to eat that gets outside the burger and fry, pizza, or chicken sandwich routine... My wife had the chicken salad plate which was huge. I had a chicken pita which was quite filling. A slight cut above fast food, decor is not impressive, but neither is the decor in your local burger/pizza/chicken fast food restaurant. I would go back on occasion.

I always love Coming to Zoe's I wish we had one in south Florida!!!! However, I'm used to being served with glass plates and metal utensils in all the Zoe's I've been to. You guys provided cheap paper plates and I wasn't impressed especially when my total meal cost $17 not $5 like a regular fast food chain. It wouldn't normally bother me but when the food you serve over covers the plates it gets a little messy to eat.....and soggy.

Best hummus I've ever had. Full disclosure, I've only ever had store bought hummus, and yesterday was an enlightening experience. What have a been eating? Not real hummus apparently. Anyway, I had the hummus and Greek salad. Everything was delicious. They have a cooler there where they've prepared some items you can buy to take home. Bought a container of their original hummus to take home. Probably will be coming here to buy it from now on. Apparently I needed to up my hummus game -wanna try it fresh everywhere now. This place is pretty laid back, employees are nice, seating is comfortable and convenient. Went up to get a lid for a container and before I could ask, the cashier knew what I needed and was grabbing me a lid. Cool place, will definitely be back!

UPDATE - The manager did address my problem with a $25 gift card. So, the review has been updated to 4***. Low expectations, lowered by incompetence. First, let me be up front about this; I despise chain restaurants. My wife ordered a simple meal online 4 hours before pickup time, I arrived to pick it up on time and am told "it didn't come through the system". They had no problem charging me on time and the receipt said "online order". The manager was nice and offered me drink, I laughed because I think they spaced my order and don't value their customers. Sorry Zöe, you're one and done.

1st time at restaurant tried streak wrap - average and sauce was ok - not bad just not a fan - fresh fruit side - good. My wife had the Greek salad and she enjoyed it - portions and price good. It is always a plus when you can eat outside on a beautiful evening.

It's really hard to classify Zoe's and to find legitimate comparisons. It's more or less a Mediterranean version of Newk's, which that in itself is a recipe for success. I tried Zoe's when they first opened, and was not impressed. Based on my initial experience, I was never planning on returning--but I'm so fortunate I did. I have no idea what changed in the past 8 years or so, but if I'm ever at the Summit around lunch, there's really no competition. Zoe's is reasonably priced, quick, and healthy. I love the variety they serve you on your order--a salad, kabob, pita bread, and a side. For a well balanced, modestly priced lunch, there's nothing better than the Chicken Kabob at Zoe's.

Usually very good, but if you call in for food, just get into the regular line or they will let you stand there in the wrong place until they are done with the other people in the "right" line... Wish they would tell you that on the phone or remove that sign bc it's happened at least 3 times for each if us in our family. Daughter ordered the chicken roll up and there wasn't a single piece of spinach in it- she was not happy, this is the first time this happened, may have to ask if they are out of ingredients next time we order since they failed to mention it on the phone...otherwise it's usually very good quality and taste! We eat here at least once a week.

Two words: Chicken Salad. I'll put it this way: If my boyfriend and I ever get in an argument I could just bring home Zoe's Chicken Salad and all would be right in the world. That's all you need to know.
(4)Brooke H.
I really like this place! It is always tasty & feels healthier than other options (not sure if it actually is or not). It is a bit small inside & can get pretty crowded, but I think it's worth it. The chicken pita is my favorite, and their signature dressing is amazing!!!
(4)Janeka M.
I really enjoyed the food here. It was very fresh and light. I had the Chicken Kabobs and it looked just as yummy as it tasted. The store manager very so down to earth and professional. He made my experience here wonderful. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. I really live how they have an outside set up so you can enjoy the wonderful this fall. This place also has a very modern and warm color scheme to it, which is very welcoming. I will be back soon!
(5)Michael N.
Absolutely love this place. The Hummus and salad plate is my go to. It has a huge salad with the a really good house Greek dressing and the hummus is a large portion. The various types of kabobs they have are great as well. I recently used their online ordering and it went off without a hitch.

Is it blasphemy to call Zoe's "fast food?" I'm going to assume it's not and tell you that I think Zoe's is the best "fast food" around. Why would I not refer to it that way? After all, you do walk up to counter, order from a tween, and receive your food in a very timely manner. Maybe there is one big difference in Zoe's and the others... It's healthy. I'm no nutrition nut, but do try and watch what goes in the ol' yapper. Zoe's seems to have more healthy options, than greasy ones. I know that I can stop by, get a quick wrap, kabob, or salad, and leave without feeling like I need to immediately run a few miles. The only complaint would be that it gets so packed and the line can be a bit awkward. I'm sure this is a problem that Zoe's will gladly accept.

I always tell my wife this place is a "chick food" restaurant, but she wins and we go, and I enjoy my meal every time. Almost always order the steak rollups. Tender steak, sauteed mushrooms, melted cheese. Very good, especially with a side of hummus and pita chips.
(4)Brent C.
I have always loved Zoes! Their Steak Roll ups are amazing! They come with this dipping sauce that tastes like a mixture between butter, ranch, and mayo! Their Greek salad dressing is on the table in a bottle that you shake up when you need it. They are a great catering option too.
(5)Elizabeth F.
This is always a good place to go get lunch. And they have a new steak dish on the menu that I've very happy to eat again. Now if they just had the steak dish with rice and salad like the chicken dish... That would make me very happy!
(4)Stacy K.
It is so nice to have a place that is quick, convenient, tastes great, and good for you! Always fresh and quality ingredients. The Summit store is awesome-great service and super friendly staff! LOVE the Zoes phone app!!
(4)Melody H.
My boss brought chicken salad and pimento cheese to work one day for the department lunch. VERY good chicken salad. Shredded chicken and no grapes or nuts! I'm not a fan of the chunk chicken salad with nuts, grapes and tons of mayo, so this was a pleasant surprise. Just the way I like it! The only pimento cheese I've had that's better is some that a former coworker of mine would make and bring into work. Can't comment on the service or the prices, but the food that I had was outstanding! I'm definitely going to pop in there one day for lunch.

Zoës Kitchen never disappoints. Before coming here, I had only been to the one in Annapolis, so I was surprised to find that Birmingham had one as well. I can now say that the customer service standard must extend nationwide, but the folks here were just has friendly and just as accommodating with my order when I had to send it back. It wasn't even their fault. Apparently, I hadn't read the description in it's entirety (just looked at the pretty picture on the board) and didn't notice that the salad I order came with some noodley-thing on top. When you order salad and you get noodles on top, it can be confusing... especially if you didn't read the menu carefully. Enough you it was my mistake, they were happy to take the meal back and replace it with something I did want. That means a lot. They didn't have to do that at all and they did. No questions asked. Customer service like that will keep me coming back for more... promise to fully read the menu next time ;)

This was the first time me and my fiancee had been to a Zoe's Kitchen. The staff was friendly and helped us pick out a great light lunch. Their menu was not pricey at all and the food was very good. I had the chicken salad sandwich and potato salad and Ashley had the Chicken wrap and Greek salad, both were very delicious. Also we shared the humus and got some extra to bring home. Definitely hit the spot for a light quick lunch. Can't wait to find another one of these around the southeast.

It is so nice to have a quick and fresh Mediterranean place in town. Came here for lunch the other day and had the hummus and pita with the grilled chicken pita sandwich with a side of pasta salad. The hummus was nice and creamy, but I wish I had known they put olives on top. I tried to salvage the side that had the olives but the juice had made its way into the flavor and sabotaged my taste buds. There was nothing exceptionally special about the pita, but it is better than most places in the area. The chicken pita was really good and one sandwich was enough to feed two people. It had the perfect amount of feta and grilled onions and the chicken was seasoned just right. Next time I would probably 86 the lettuce and tomatoes. The winner was the pasta salad. Pasta shells with tomatoes, feta and basil with the perfect amount of creaminess without making it feel heavy. I could make a meal out of the pasta alone. Service was super friendly and extra fast. They have a really nice size menu with lots of variety. I'd definitely return.

Really good. The staff is friendly & very helpful to newcomers. I was pleased with my chicken salad sandwich & loved the white beans!! Price was pretty good, but not in the weekly lunch budget.
(4)Benjamin S.
My local rep said it was just a solid great place and went for a classic turkey sandwich with rice pilaf - he was right. I couldn't put my finger on it but the sandwich was just damn good. There was something on the wall about using fresh ingredients and not sure if it's just that but they're doing something right. Looking forward to swinging in again for a great tasting lunch.
(4)W D.
Stopped in for lunch and this place is awesome! The food is great and the staff was efficient, friendly, and prompt! They even make their own Greek dressing!
(5)Bryan H.
Very good choices, and I felt like I was eating a good well balanced meal that was healthy. They also gave good sized portions. I will be back here again.

Healthy food, good service, delicious.

I've been to Zoe's Kitchen 3 times. I'd say this is a great place for people looking for healthy options. However, most of the dishes aren't really that amazing. I like chicken roll-ups but other than that I'd say I rather go eat somewhere else.

Chocolate. Cake. Zoe's is a petite sized chain with less than a couple dozen locations in the Southeast. I was first introduced while in college, and make it a point to stop wheneevvaa I get the chance. They serve up light, healthy (well, healthy tasting anyway) things like Greek salads, pasta salads, and grilled chicken. Such a fan am I that I scarfed down two takeout portions of the potato salad and pasta salad while driving back to Atlanta (promise I was watching the road, too!). Not so healthy if you top if off with the moist 'n creamy chocolate cake that beckons as you check out, but whatever. Worth it.
(5)James H.
This was my first visit to this upscale chain, although my dining partner was already a big fan. The food is really fresh, with decent portions for the money. I has the steak roll ups with no-mayo potato salad (vinegar and spices instead) and I would order that again. And I'll definitely be back.
(5)Curly Q.
I really like Zoe's. The chicken salad is so good, and so are the potato and pasta salads. The dinner for 4 is great too! I've never had the chocolate cake - I guess I'll have to try it out.
