I could go on and on about how much I love this place but my words don't do it justice. You are truly missing out if you haven't been here. I've never had a muffin or pastry that I haven't loved. It is so so cheap! They even have healthier low fat options. Magic muffins will never get old to me and will always bring a smile to my face. Go check out this gem!!

Glenn and his team at Magic Muffin made our wedding cake and groom's cake - they were exactly what I wanted! The wedding cake was so elegant and the groom's cake, a stack of three books decorated to look like my husband's favorites, was absolutely perfect. They are so talented! Besides the cakes looking great, they tasted even better. Plus Magic Muffin's prices were considerably more reasonable than every other bakery I considered in Birmingham. Working with them was so easy; they even delivered the cakes to our venue near Jasper for a small fee. I can't recommend Magic Muffin highly enough!

My family, every place I've worked and most of my friends love and RAVE about magic muffins. Why? Because I buy them for all kinds of events and take them to work for breakfast frequently - I even buy them when we have someone out sick and are getting food. They have AWESOME casseroles, as well, which no one has touched on yet, but everything is handmade (lasagna with homemade noodles, chicken pot pie with homemade crust, best cheese grits ever, etc.). Prices are VERY reasonable - I could definitely not make these dishes for the price I buy them at and I'm giving my family a homecooked meal without the mess and time! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Never had anything that wasn't great here and it's small, family owned and quaint, which I love because it's MY neighborhood bakery :)

The muffin tops were delicious! My favorites are the banana nut muffins and the carrot cake muffins. But we bought each flavor and all of them were good. You can't eat just one ! I also had a cheese and bacon biscuit. It was warm and fluffy and savory and so so good. I didn't take a pic of it, it was devoured right away. But there's always next time. I like the muffin tops, it's a nice change from the typical coffee and donuts. Although, they got the idea for this business from Seinfeld! J/k I will definitely be back for more. And if you're looking for more than breakfast treats, they also sell a variety of cold salads and casseroles. The casseroles are not cooked, just prepared, so you can take them home and pop them in the oven for a quick and easy dinner.

I do not understand businesses that still operate with old world hours of operation in a new world. We wake up early, we work late, and we run 7 days a week. Please open on Sunday for a place to go.

Delicious and wonderfully priced! Great local business and super fast service even on a Saturday morning when it was packed!! Can't wait to try some casseroles! Perfect place to grab something for a new mama, a sick friend, or a housewarming hello!

This place has pretty good baked goods. My favorite foods were the hot and cold sandwiches they had available. The Salmon salad sandwich was always really good. They make homemade casseroles and soups that they freeze and sell which are usually pretty good.

These are some of the ugliest muffins you will ever see your entire life. I got pumpkin spice and banana nut. The pumpkin spice is good. The banana nut was nothing I could remember. I will still come back here because the idea of getting a Magic Muffin after a trip to Publix across the street is truly exciting. However, these are not the best muffins I've had and I've had better in grocery stores. But I have terrible taste.

Every time I think about Magic Muffins, the inside of my head is filled with a joyful song. Every time I drive by Magic Muffins, I scream to whoever is in the car with me "OH MY GOD, MAGIC MUFFINS!". I jabber on for days about Magic Muffins to my poor husband whenever I make muffins that just aren't as good. He just doesn't understand yet. I've had Magic Muffins since I was a teenager and ever since then, no other muffin compares. The blueberry and pumpkin muffins are my favorite, but I've never met a flavor that I don't like. The mini-muffins are awesome as well and never dried out as mini anything can be. These muffins aren't just regular muffins though - they have a great sugary, crispy top and I think that's the best part. It seems as though any time there is an event in my life, a box of Magic Muffins shows up. Bridal and baby showers, high school and college graduations, taken on vacations to the beach, and many more. As Ash C. said - go, get, and eat the muffins.

This is a local business serving wonderfully priced, hand prepared, delicious food made fresh every day. I "discovered" this gem about a year ago when I went to work for a nearby company. They have a HUGE variety of delicious muffins and muffin tops--many are even lowfat and healthy! Everybody at the office looks forward to a Magic Muffin tray. I also went to a gorgeous wedding at a local country club that had a Magic Muffin wedding cake everyone is STILL talking about. The sausage cheese biscuits are enormous and very popular with folks who don't want something sweet for breakfast. They also have lovely cookies. What many may not know is that their fruit trays are fantastic packed with super fresh cut fruit and priced very well. They close at 3:00 pm, but if you email them in the evening, they will have your order ready bright and early the next morning. Can't say enough about this place!
