Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We LOVE Lee Garden. We have been coming here our whole life and no other Chinese restaurant compares. My sister lives in California and says none of the Chinese places come close to Lee Garden. The staff is fantastic, the restaurant is always clean, and the food is wonderful. If you plan on eating Chinese near Birmingham, this is the place to come.

This little restaurant is tucked away in a small strip mall called the Trussville Plaza. I ordered the egg drop soup as an appetizer. To my surprise this was amazingly good. The soup was not your ordinary egg drop soups as this one contained shrimp and mushrooms, small meal in itself. Loved it!! I ordered the Orange Chicken for the main course, at first I wasn't very happy with the meal as the first couple of pieces of chicken I ate must have had a lot of orange zest on them as the orange taste was overwhelming. Once I persevered through the meal and mixed on the zest, sauce and peppers it turned out to be a really good meal. If you get the orange chicken make sure you mix up the meat and sauces before you eat them. Great little Chinese restaurant for the price.

Lee Garden was a major disappointment. It could be because it was near closing time, but it was pretty disgusting. The food was cold and bland and the tea had an old, slightly sour taste. I should have known better when the sweet and sour shrimp arrived within five minutes of the order being placed. That lets me know they threw something in the microwave, but didn't leave it long enough. Regardless of the time of night, they should have served fresh food. We left within 15 minutes and stopped at McDonald's on the way home. I will not be returning to Lee Garden.

Lee Garden is Chinese plus Thai! They have pud thai - it's pretty good, especially when they deliver! If you live in the Trussville area, Lee Garden delivers to most neighborhoods. And what a treat on one of those weekday nights, or for the introvert who doesn't want to waste time with dinner crowds. The thai salad is always crisp and it's worth ordering just for the dressing. Love the crab angels and the BEST kung pao chicken. Our orders are always fresh and clean. I agree that it's the best in its category in B'ham.

They have really good Chinese food. The lunch specials are a great deal. They come with soup (choice of hot and sour and egg drop), the entree, an egg roll and a piece of chicken - usually a wing, which is unusual. I don't like chicken on the bone, so I usually trade my coworker for her soup when we go. The pork in garlic sauce is very good, the chicken lo mein is awesome and the fried rice is good. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area, but keep in mind that they are closed on Tuesdays.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I often go there for the lunch service, and the staff is friendly and gets food out at a great pace. The food is delicious! The hot and sour soup is one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!

First time eating here. Wasn't impressed! Food was overpriced. Ordered crab angels - one of my favorites. Over 1/2 the order had very little to no filling. The egg rolls were mostly dough. Egg drop soup had absolutely no flavor! The Mongolian chicken was ok at best, a little on the sweet side. Will not be visiting this place again!

Lee Garden is one of your better chinese restaurants. I've always had great service whether dining in or taking out. The food is excellent, the service is excellent. Highly recommend whether lunch or dinner or take-out. Egg drop soup is more broth based which I prefer and the egg rolls have a great flavor. I also like the fact that they are one of very few places I can get stir fried bean sprouts.
