This bar has a great location right next to Chuck's Fish. The bartender was very friendly and the drinks were extremely cheap. Great place to bring a date for a drink after eating at Chuck's.

MEhhh, this place is ok. The crowd can be weird. Sometimes it's young people. Other times they are old (er), like 45+. I would give it more stars if I could figure out what night is what age group. Plus, the bar is layed out weird. Half the tables are on one side, and theyn the other half has some sporatic tables and then the fire place. There's just a ton of open space in one area and non in others. I bring this up becuase everytime I walk in I feel like the entire room is staring at me.

It is super nice. Good atmosphere. The service is good, location is great, prices are reasonable. This place has changed owners so many times with different names and I think it is finally a good stick and business plan. There is a long bar, several tall bistro/bar tables, a few nice sized booths, a couple small tables, and some cozy leather modern couches by the FIRE PLACE. So cute. They have a small stage and every time I have been the band has been pretty good. They play covers, but they are at least good at covering them. The only complaint I have is the bathroom situation. Only a one person Men's room and Only ONE person Women's room. So terrible when there are like 100 people drinking! Most of the men go out back to relieve themselves and let the women use the men's room but the whole night there is always a line. I don't know if this can be fixed but I think it would be a good business investment. The wine list is not bad and they have high gravity beers so that's cool. I think I had Delirium and something else. It was good. My friends and I have fun here. It is a bring your own crown kinda place. The age group is mixed. I would say 25-65.

If you find yourself down 280, this is your place. It's locally owned and not too high brow. It contains a plethora of indoor seating along with tables on the front patio, but that is just the beginning. If you go by during happy hour, be ready to enjoy good conversation. If you're lucky, you'll catch a bartender named Greg. You can talk to this guy for hours and enjoy every minute. The entire staff is friendly and quick to serve, even on a busy saturday like this past. They had their annual crawfish boil and it was packed to the gills. I don't make it down that way often, but this is my place when I do.

In from Fairhope, on business trip, found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The music is really good. Really good. It's a darkly lit bar. Only four people in here in this Thursday night at 7:35 pm. I think the photo I am posting of the candle fireplace sums up the atmosphere. Downside is the furniture is not very comfortable. Bring in a few sink-in chairs and couches and I would stay twice as long.

A last minute trip to Birmingham to see my buddy led us to the Grey Bar. $5 cover to get in b/c of a live band. We were meeting some other friends and were just there for drinks, no food. Actually, I was a little tipsy, so I'm not even sure if they have food there. It seems like a fun enough spot to met friends, just make sure to bring extra cash if you plan on staying long. Our 3 Bud Light bottles and one shot of Fireball cost $17 and some change each time. For those four things, that's really pricey to me.

Fun place! Sophisticated and upscale but in a good way ! Live music and can get packed on the weekends. Might wanna dress to impress-Lots of lookers in this crowd! Great place to mingle or take a date. Kelly Jo, Scarlett, and the rest of the staff will take good care of you!

Nice place close to home and friends to meet for a glass of wine before and sometimes after dinner during the week. Great place on the weekends too.
