You don't know how happy I am to update my review. I left the place and all my plates were empty. Success! I ordered the LA galbi lunch special and enjoyed most of it. The freshly chopped garlic on top of the galbi was a nice touch. The meat was very well marinated and tons better than the first time I had it here. The small dishes were fresh and offered a good variety. The lunch special came with a few odd items like french fries. They were the first thing I noticed and I won't lie, I was pretty excited to get french fries at a Korean restaurant for lunch, but they were cold, so that sucks. The gyoza was a pleasant surprise though. The servers were all super smiley and nice. They were very attentive. All in all, I'm very happy with my experience. It was a quality lunch. Good job Seoul BBQ. I'm proud of ya'll.

I did swing by here once to try it out. I will admit... its no different than any other place that tries and serve up "korean" food but then I get sad when i read there is teriyaki chicken on the menu. I would avoid this place for dinner and only recommend the lunch as it is better priced in my opinion. As for the food... its nothing you cant get anywhere else. I find for good korean food mandarian house korean menu is still the better choice. Again... I didnt see a korean population eating there when I was there. So... that tells me they must be eating elsewhere.

I really like their beef bulgogi. The appetizers are tasty too. I also recommend it for lunch because of the prices.

Considering the limited amount of ethnic food we have in town. I love eating here! They have fresh dishes and good service.

I went here twice. It's typical Korean running restaurant. Many of my friends said it's too slow of serving food, but I feel it's not fast but acceptable. The quantity of food is kinda less, so it's not good choice if you are so hungry.

The LA BBQ Bulgogi is delicious! I'm so excited that Seoul BBQ has come to Auburn. It adds a nice touch of variety to all the barbecue & chicken options downtown.

No seafood in seafood pancake...

The appetizers are scarce and not really good. Good thing that the entrees made up for it. The chicken teriyaki box came with gimbap, chap chae noodles, fruit salad, rice, and some tempura. The tempura was awful. The bulgogi was delicious and plentiful with marinated sauce.

This place is what got me hooked on Korean food. The side dishes work very well with the food. My favorite dishes have to be the Bulgolgi and the Jae Yook Bokum. The servers are nice and welcoming but one or two of them are very shy. The best time to go is for Lunch because the prices are reasonable (unlike dinner) and you can order the Korean sushi roll which is ok only during lunch. The ramen is also a good alternative to the meat dishes for when you don't want to pay too much. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants and I'll be sad to not be able to go back since I've now graduated.

This is classic authentic Korean dinning. The food, the restaurant atmosphere is on point. We order the Kimchi Tofu soup and the Chicken Soup, both was excellent!!! The Kimchi Tofu is just what you would expect, sweet spicy kimchi soup with tofu pieces. However, the Chicken Soup really blew me away. It's was so amazing but yet so simplistic, it's has such wonder taste with little seasonal, such a clean but yet powerful taste. Excellent dinning experience at a reasonable price.

Very average at best. Doesn't feel authentic as a Korean restaurant. There are better choices in town. I hope they improve since it would help introduce Korean food to a lot of students and locals.

Very authentic Korean food for Auburn. Prices are relatively high unless you go for lunch (expect $12-19 after tax and tip). Really friendly servers. Bibimbap was very good and had good tasting pepper paste. Kimchi was normal kimchi (if you like that). Seafood pancake was good, but small. Bulgogi was the highlight. Served on a sizzling platter with the classic sauce and spices. Definitely go for this.
