Pho Lee is a very clean and nice place for Vietnamese food. We ordered their regular pho with all of the fixins except for tripe and it was pretty good. Clean tasting, not greasy, and the broth was very clear. The noodles were not overdone either which was a plus. However, the broth was not as rich as I'm used to. It's great for those who aren't absolute meat lovers, but it's a little light for my taste. My mom had the seafood pho which was a sweeter broth than the beef pho and had less of the pho spices flavor. We also got the pork bahn mi which was the star of the meal. Absolutely delicious and flavorful. The veggies were crisp and slight pickled flavor cut the richness of the meat. And the best part by far, the crusty bread. I could've eaten it plain for my entire meal. Buttery and crusty and soft, but still chewy. I want some more now actually... I'd come back again.

I'm pleasantly surprised that good Vietnamese food exists in Auburn. Their wontons are delicious. I wish they were larger so that I could enjoy them longer. Their pho is really perfect during cold nights here. The portions are pretty large and the prices are fair. Their banh mi is also really good, even after a day in the fridge.

New restaurant. Very clean. Very busy decor. We had the spring rolls and the eggs rolls as a starter. I favored the spring rolls over the egg rolls. They were fresh and the peanut dipping sauce was delicious. I ordered the PhoGa, which is the chicken noodle bowl. It was ok. I wish the chicken was a little more seasoned, but I am a novice to Vietnamese cuisine so maybe that's how it was supposed to be. The broth was delicious and the fresh herbs in it were yummy. The service was superb. The staff was very attentive. We were asked a dozen times how things were and if we needed anything. Two drinks, two noodle bowls, one order spring roll, one order egg roll, $40 with tip. Which is a little high in my opinion. All in all, good experience.

The place sucks!!!!!!! The service is sooo bad. Both rice and noodles have bugs. When we talk to manager, he just ignore it. What kind of restaurant have this service??!

I tried Pho Lee for the first time on Thursday. I was impressed with decor and most of all the friendliness of the staff. It was not busy, but still everyone I encountered was helpful and nice. My server (I am sorry, I do not remember his name) patiently answered my questions while taking my order. Even though I ordered take out, I was checked on while waiting and offered drinks. Best of all, they helped me take my food out to my car! Is that service or what! Now to the food! I ordered spring rolls and they were delicious! The veggies were fresh and crunchy and the peanut sauce was delicious! My daughter had pho with chicken and her boyfriend had pho with flank steak. They enjoyed it very much. The portions were very generous for the price. I will be sure to go again!

Amazing food, loved the Pad Thai & Vermicelli dish with chicken and shrimp. Lee was very gracious and introduced us to 33 export beer... Excellent. Friendly staff, Delaney, our waitress was very sweet. We will be back.

I won't go to this restaurant, the service is much rude for colored race. Everytime, they look around and talk with white.
(1)Diane K.
Great food and excellent service. The staff treats the customers like they're family and they have always made us feel welcome, even when they were 30 minutes away from closing. Try the spring rolls along with the Pork with Vermicelli Noodles. You won't be disappointed.

My lovely wife was in Auburn yesterday helping our daughter move out of the dorm for the Summer. Around lunchtime yesterday she texted that she'd found this place in town with the pho. Since we live in small town S. Ala, I asked for a bowl to go. They put the pho on ice and made it back home around 9 pm last night. Tonight she opened up the package which contained a big container of the broth and a styrofoam box with fresh lime, bean sprouts, cilantro, basil and three different containers of various hot sauces. I like it hot. The other thing in that container was the raw beef and the noodles. After she boiled that broth and tossed in the noodles and beef, I had to search the kitchen for a big bowl. It was absolutely delicious. I cannot believe I ate that whole thing but it was damn good. Will go there the next time we are in Auburn. Try this place out if you're into the pho. I am, and this place is good at it.

I went there on February 2014 and tried Chicken Noodle Soup. It was okay !! Not bad... The place was new then i guess, so it's was clean, well organized and nice people. Will go there again to try different food. From my one time visit i will give them 3 star. This place is okay...

Only pho place in Auburn according to yelp. Very tidy restaurant with fantastic service. Had the fresh spring rolls and n2 pho. All in all the food was pretty average. I can't say I will crave this place but wouldn't hesitate to stop in if in Auburn.

While in from out of town I was craving the pho! This place seemed to be the only place in Auburn that serves it. First off it was very nice and clean...very important. Secondly my waitress was fantastic, thanks Delaney! Lastly the pho was excellent! Highly recommended
(5)Heather H.
First time trying pho and I was pleased. My husband and I split a large bowl of pho with flank steak, tripe, meatballs, and tendon. It was fantastic. The bean sprouts, lime, and cilantro provided were the perfect compliment. It was more than we could eat in one sitting, and when we asked for it to be boxed up the restaurant was nice enough to add extra broth to our soup. Our kids both had banh mi sandwiches which were great as well. Friendly and attentive service. We will definitely be back.

We found a fly in the soup!!!!! And they just ignore it and angry to us!!! How can they do that!

One of my favorite places in Auburn! The pho is great, of course, but the noodle dishes are especially awesome. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a lovely atmosphere.

Went there to eat pho couple times and my thoughts are.... Taste of Pho: 8/10 Portion: 6/10 Service: 6/10 Cleaness: 9/10 Price: 5/10 Taste is good, I didnt find any bugs on mine. Service could be better with more attention. Fairly new business so it suppose to be clean. Price is bit expensive and they charge for extra onion which is free everywhere else.
(2)Kathy P.
My first pho experience. The food and service were good, but seems a little pricey. I will definitely come back and try pho in other places!
(4)Brooke S.
I have visited Pho Lee a number of times now. We immediately fell in love with their Pho! I also like their Pad Thai. If you visit, you absolutely must try their Avocado Smoothie. It's delicious! One time I was sick and home and my husband and son went to Pho Lee to pick me up some Pho. They asked where I was. So sweet!

Good. Not great. And there is room for improvement. Got the shrimp spring rolls which were skimpy on the shrimp and lacked flavor (eg mint or cilantro). The peanut sauce was almost straight peanut butter. The shrimp meat egg roll noodles were okay. I have never met an egg roll I didn't like but this one was so bad I didn't eat it. Seemed old and was mushy/dry/bland. Only 2 shrimp and a little meat with noodles and veggies for $10. I agree with others that the quality needs to improve for me to come back and pay their prices. I'll give them another try because I really like Vietnamese food and it's awesome that they're in auburn.

My wife and I were so excited to have a Vietnamese restaurant in Auburn. We have been to Pho Lee once and were very let down by the food. It is not that the food was bad. Actually it was OK. However, it was NOT anything like Vietnamese food I have had elsewhere (including several places in Vietnam). The Pho at Pho Lee was a fairly bland bowl of CHICKEN stock, not beef as is used in traditional Pho. Real Pho comes with a plate of whole basil leaves, mint, cilantro or culantro, peppers, scallions, lime wedges and other condiments. At Pho Lee, we got a very small sprinkling of minced green stuff on the soup and a saucer with some sprouts and one lime wedge. Not bad, really, but nothing like real Pho. The first reviewer mentioned the spring rolls with pork and vermicelli. They were OK, but bland like the soup. No basil or mint in them! WTF. The restaurant looks very nice and the service was great. Prices were not cheap but not too high. It would be very easy to like Pho Lee if one has never had real Vietnamese food. So, if you like Pho Lee, do not eat Vietnamese food elsewhere like the Saigon Bistro in Montgomery, or any one of a number of high rated Vietnamese places in Atlanta.

The atmosphere, as mentioned by others is great. The food is bland and in my opinion over priced. Not expensive - the meals are moderately priced but when you consider the meager serving sizes, the modest prices start to get steep. We both had Vermicelli dishes, she had the chicken which was much better than my Lemon Grass Beef (which had no lemon grass - I was told that the beef was marinated in/with Lemongrass). I love East Central Alabama when I go out for Vietnamese I want it to pop in my mouth. Fortunately I am in ATL 4 days a week so I'll get my fix there.
(2)Audrey A.
Great food, lots of options. We had Spring rolls for appetizer. Very good, though the peanut sauce was very heavy. I added siracha for a kick. I had the fillet with fried rice and hubby had special soup. Soup broth was layered w flavor but it was even more fun adding your own veggies and seasonings. The only bad thing about the fillet dish was that while it tasted very good, it was served in huge chunks with huge chunks of onions and bell peppers as well. It made it a little hard to eat. Very Friendly service. Now serves beer, if you are interested. We will definitely go again.

I rushed to Pho Lee after learning that they sell Banh Mi sandwiches!! Vietnamese restaurants in Montgomery (where I live) do not serve this classic which is so disappointing. I tried the chicken Banh Mi and was quite impressed. The sandwich was very tasty with fresh toppings. I would suggest adding fresh jalapenos to the mix. It gives the sandwich a nice but not overpowering kick. I also ordered the shrimp spring rolls which were delicious and also extremely fresh. There were two well-sized shrimp per roll, which is standard. The lettuce was crisp and the wrap was nice and sticky. I really enjoyed it. I would like to go back and actually have a sit down meal in the restaurant (both the sandwich and rolls were ordered to go). I will definitely be back again.
