This restaurant has a ton of potential. The food was decent but it didn't really blow me away. The spicy food didn't really come out spicy. It was drenched in a very tangy vinegar tasting hot sauce. The upside were the entree salads. They were nice sized and everything was fresh. Our service was mixed between three different people. Two of them were ok and one was just hovering around without really helping anyone. They have lots of T.V.s to watch the games on. I would probably come back

We are not impressed with this restaurant! The fried mushrooms were good! Had to ask for small plates and silverware! That was ok! Our waiter was good ( Mac)! Two of us had the Parmesan Chicken Marinara, it was so bad we could eat the first mouth full. My husband had the Rajun Cajun Pastas and it was cold noodles hard and just awful. My son-in-law had the burger and it was good! Will never be back!

You know when you go to a restaurant and you see a fish dish that looks interesting but you know the fish portion is normally small. The price is high and it's either over or under cooked. Well I tend to at time be adventures so I selected the Mahi Ceaser Salad. The entire time I was waiting on my meal I'm thinking I just tossed ten bucks for tiny piece of fish and some romaine lettuce. Well may I say I was very plesently surprised. The fish was for the price very large. So now it's time to eat and wow this was a great meal. I would eat this again. Great meal. Benjamin our server was awesome. He really appeared to like his job and cared to give Great service. Outstanding job.

I have been to at least a couple of Mugshots before...in Starkville and Tuscaloosa, and maybe even others. The one in Auburn is fairly new, as far as I know. It seemed a lot less "lively" than the others I've been in, which have louder music and are near college campuses. This location is in the old Chili's restaurant, a few miles from campus. I ordered the Ahi Tuna salad. The tuna was not overcooked (I am always worried about that, since so many places put seared tuna on their menus but cook it way too much!). It came in a huge bowl of iceberg lettuce, which was kind of meh... but, I was trying to eat kind of healthy, so I just ate the tuna and a little bit of lettuce and left most of it. The dressing was tasty as well. My friend and I both ordered Mojitos - I ordered a regular, she ordered the strawberry. I'm not accusing the restaurant of making our mojitos with gin, because I don't know... but they tasted funny. Like gin. I think Mugshots has a pretty good menu, I'm just not the biggest fan of that kind of food. At least they have lots of options and aren't overpriced.

My husband and I wanted to try out this new restaurant after hearing so many people had visited recently. We were very disappointed in our burgers the meat was not even fresh it was very rubbery. It had the texture of a wet sponge. The French fries were tasteless the only thing good going for it was the service. I couldn't even order a mojito because they didn't have all the ingredients to make it. This was a major disappointment.

This was my second trip here at Mugshots and first time for my husband. We ordered different burgers. My husband had the Big Kahuna (which I had suggested, because I had ordered this my first time here) and I had the Stu's Magic Mushroom. Both of which are Specialty Burgers. My husband absolutely loved his burger and finished it in less than 10 minutes. These burgers are not small! I normally have a harder time eating my burgers and it takes me at least 20 minutes to finish an entire piece. I managed to finish half of the burger right after my husband finished his entire burger. I really enjoyed the one I ordered, but would have definitely loved the one that my husband ordered. Because it has a huge slice of pineapple inside. Plus the beer battered steak fries are amazing. One of the main reasons I wanted to have lunch here. My husband did not care so much for the fries, he actually didn't like them, so that means more for me! The history of how this restaurant came to place were posted on the back wall and there are pretty cool things mounted against the walls as well. I would definitely prefer Mugshots over BurgerFi. The fries are better and the atmosphere is much more calm and bit more privacy with their booths as oppose to the open space at BurgerFi.

I give this place 3 stars, only based on the food. We drive by this place all of the time and it always looks busy and we decided to stop by one Sunday afternoon. I have heard great things about this place from other college towns. The location is kind of weird considering its not near the campus, but we decided to give it a try. I ordered the fried cheese curds appetizer in mozzarella, but they were out of mozzarella. That's fine and we just had the pepper jack. The pepper jack was ok, but would have definitely been better with mozz. We were seated in the bar area and there were no other people eating except some workers of the restaurant sitting at the bar. When we sat down though, we were the only ones. Our server (the bartender) only came to our table twice, once to take the order, and the other to bring the appetizer. We had to go up to the bar to ask for ketchup, napkins, togo boxes, and the check. Someone else brought out our food and he was very nice. My boyfriend and I have both worked in restaurants, so we try to be understanding of the places we go to eat. I just couldn't believe the service. Our server (Isabella) was too busy joking and serving the other servers who work there at the bar, that she never checked on us or anything. I understand that she had other customers, regardless if they were there too or not, but we were there before them and I think that if she is a bartender she should be able to multi-task between two different groups of customers. I only gave this place three stars because the food was good. Probably won't be coming back just because of the location and the service. Very unfriendly and just gave weird vibe. I noticed they did have drink specials, but she didn't tell us any or have it really advertised. Bad thing to do in a college town.

Alright kids, if you're looking for the best food in town, fun place to have a drink with friends, or the best service around, get here now If you're going to get a burger you have to try The Gamble. It's huge. If you're a fan of delicious flavor you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu though. Request Ben for your server. He is absolutely the best server any of my friends and I have ever had.

Went there last night and wasn't impressed. Came in about 8 and it was abiut half full - busy but not slammed by any means. Key focus for us was a couple of apps and drinks.... Wait staff was good. Friendly and prompt. Only problems wr had was the waiter that kept pushing his fingers through his hair brought us our drinks. Used the handles on the mugs so OK but ... yuck. Other issue was after food came didn't see our waiter for 10 minutes. Kitchen was slow and needs to pay attention to the plating. By the time we ordered they were emptying out. Took almost 20 minutes for simple apps that where only so so. Only saw one order of 2 burgers come out before ours. Food: Ordered Pow Pow Shrimp and was under whelmed. Over done and chewy. Wife ate a couple and stopped. Lettuce underneath was sickly and appeared to have been frozen at one time as it was so severely wilted. App Trio of SW Eggrolls, Quesidillas, and Fried Pickles was average. Two SW/Mexican items and no salsa, but Thai Sauce was provide which didn't make sense. All were OK but a number of shrimp found their way onto this plate too that shouldn't have been there. Lettuce was soggy here too. Kitchen needs to pay better attention. Overall I will probably not return as there was nothing special to bring me back. I was hoping for something new and more exciting to come to the area.

I went to mugshots not so long ago and I ordered the Mugshot Challenge. Even though the burgers was great 12 minutes isn't enough time to eat the whole thing. It took me about 5 minutes to get all the extra stuff off.

Visited this restaurant Saturday night with a group of friends. The staff was friendly and courteous. We arrived around 5:30 pm and there was long wait period. Our group consisted of nine people and waited 45 mins to be seated. Others waited around 20 to 25 mins for a party of two. Once our tables were ready, Ben (our waiter) provided excellent service and frequently checked on our party. I ordered the Cajun "Dixie" Chicken sandwich & fries. The fries were very tasty and a good portion. The sandwich looked great and was well made. The only drawback was the lack of Cajun flavor. If they shorten the wait time and improve the Cajun flavor, it would have been a 5 star experience.

I agree with Kevin K. I really like my burgers, and nothing here that I would ever have a craving for. I had the middleburger: the bun was sweet and somewhat soggy. I had the Ceaser salad for my side - the lettuce was limp and looked sad, and totally not worth the upcharge, and definitely not worth an order by itself.

The best burger I've had in a long time. We got our meal quick and had a great server too. Friendly, quick, and extremely good!
