Loco'c is good. They deliver to my work (which is the only place I ever eat it). The southern rooster is awesome. And....they have the "good ranch" you know what I'm talking about :)

While we were shocked at how few people were here on a Saturday night, Locos is a solid choice for a sports bar in a college town. Meanwhile, likely because it's a not in downtown Auburn, it seemed few students come here. However, for those who've been to a Wild Wing Cafe, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters, etc, the food at Locos is slightly better, well much better than BWW and Hooters. The downfall is whoever designed this location, didn't do a good job positioning TVs. This is a sports bar and constructed to lure sports fans in to watch games and drink beer. Meanwhile, TVs are positioned in places (in the dining area, not the bar) that make it near impossible to see the TVs. They are either too far away, or hanging on the wall and out of side from normal vision. Fix this and I'm sure more people would come. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about. For sports bar food, it's better than you'd expect. And, even in a college town, the service is good here. And, there's ample beer on tap to keep you satisfied for hours. We tried to the boneless and regular wings and my buddy swears by the boneless lemon yaki sauce. They are bite size, but damn good. Keep in mind, all the burgers are fresh, never frozen and hand formed, and they actually taste pretty good, as the Cajun fries and the sandwiches.

This is one of the saddest excuses for a restaurant in Auburn. I do not know how they exist by sucking the reputation of restaurants out of the Auburn area. My waitress commented on ordering a medium-rare steak as, "Ewwww, that's disgusting." Order was messed up twice in a row after which I gave up trying to order anything. Burgers here are better than most restaurants, but there are many better options in Auburn. With the many choices available in Auburn, I would recommend avoiding Loco's Bar and Pub until they can get their act together.

Mediocre at best, Shrimp Po Boy bland and flavorless. Nachos had some type of cheese substance not real cheese and the chicken on the nachos was not a quality product. Not impressed the use of ingredients like head lettuce and white American cheese is disappointing. Nope, won't come back

Terrible service. Always. Don't know why we go back. The wings are very good, but have to wait much to long to get a server and then the food. Every time we go there is a new manager and they just can't get it right.

Service okay for a chain restaurant. Ordered the black and blue burger. It was rather dead for lunch, so service was timely. I didn't think the burger had great flavor, as it was rather bland, but that is to be expected for a chain.

May try again, but have to agree on the service aspect. Went in for a late lunch where there were not too many eating. Everyone that was eating was asking for refills. Food was okay, but service took it down a notch.

One star given is for decent food. After three horrible delivery experiences, I'm done with Loco's. Most recently, delivery was supposed to be in one hour. Called after 1:15 and after 1:45 and they had no decent explanation, sincere apology, or compensation on offer. Oh wait, they would have given me a discount except I'd paid by credit card. Sorry! This means either canceling the order or taking a credit for future orders. "If you'd paid cash..." SERIOUSLY? I like Loco's food, but let's be honest: the whole draw is delivery because nobody really wants to eat *in* the restaurant. If you have two hours to kill and some sick leave coming from work, knock yourself out on the room-temperature bacteria festival in your Cuban sandwich that's been riding around in the delivery car for 45 minutes. If you don't, just eat somewhere else. Anywhere else.

It's alright for a group just because it has standard fair so everyone's sure to find something they'll try. Last time I got the Reuben and while the flavor was ok the meat was tough and chewy. Cajun fries are delicious and not listed on the menu. The service was strange. I came with two others about 6:30 on a Tuesday night. The waitress rushed us through our entire meal. They were not busy and had plenty of empty tables. She brought us our food, acted eager to clear our dishes, took our payment, and decided she was completely finished with us. Since we knew there were so many extra tables, and we had been rushed through our short dinner, we stayed to chat and she never even looked our way again.

One of Auburn's poorer selections. The food is not that great and the place seems deserted most of the time. If it were located in downtown Auburn it could be a decent hang out but being down on South College means I probably won't be back.

Very bad. I ate there and got sick from the food. Slow service. Order was wrong. No one there. Now I know why.

Typical greasy pub food, burgers, chicken fingers and fries. Doesn't really feel clean. I only go for the trivia night and even that is way too loud most of the time. Nothing super special here.

I have been to Locos a few times and always like to try something new when I go. The service has always been timely and friendly. The menu has a wide variety so everyone is bound to find something they enjoy. My food has always been excellent as well. I wish they had one in Fl!!

The service here is awful. A group of us came at 4pm and it took us 45 min to get 1 caesar salad and longer than an hour to get our food. When the food arrived, one of the girls' grilled sandwiches came out stone cold. The Bloody Mary here tasted badly too. It didn't help that when we asked the waitress for drink options, she didn't know what they had and she would just HAVE to take the trouble to ask the bartender if we really wanted to know. I would give it 2 stars because the shrimp quesadilla was good but it takes more than an hour to get anything. This isn't really worth it.

I've had good visits, and I've had bad visits. It really is a mixed bag. Not sure about that "Frozen burger" comment prior though. The burgers are usually pretty good, and don't taste frozen to me. Pretty good beer selection as well, I like to go Sunday and enjoy the $5 pitchers. Like someone else mentioned, the service usually lacks. This is why I just usually sit in the bar at a high top with some buddies and watch the game. Overall, decent food at a decent price. Oh, and best time to go is when all pints are $2. Can't beat Back Forty Truck Stop Honey for $2!

Servic is poor.servers are not trained properly. Kitchen is even slower, takes about a hour to get food. If you are in a hurry don't stop here, however food is good.

Generic food..awful atmosphere. Unless you are thrilled about the prospect of eating dinner with drunk college kids yelling uncontrollably. However, they deliver. That is about the only reason I ate their food more than once. And then again, you are in Auburn. Good luck finding something better.

Really bad, frozen food for a very steep price. Nice servers, but the food also takes a while. Burgers, chicken, pork all tasted like it was bought from Walmart and barely seasoned.

I've eaten at this local bar and grill twice. I had the burger with mac n cheese the first time, and it was completely respectable. The second time I had the steak tacos, which actually had nice big chunks of steak in them. Inexpensive, but quality food together with cheap drinks and local ownership makes this place winner.

Okay, I know this is a chain....but Loco's is a personal favorite. I've introduced several friends to the pot roast sandwich, hot wings and cheesy rice. They've all been impressed. Maybe because it is a college town but the wait staff is usually, (a) unresponsive, (b) hungover, or (c) inexperienced. They put their best folks up front to greet you - no complaints there - but afterwards it is hit or miss. Luckily the food and drink are so good, I'll continue to go back!
