Great local restaurant. The steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. We had the 16oz sirloin and the 10oz ribeye. It was like pulling up to a family farmhouse and going in for dinner. Prices are very reasonable and the service was superb..thanks to Sam our server. We will definitely be back.

This is the cheapest food you will find at a sit down restaurant ever. The salad bar is great! The service is great. But don't get your expectations too high, the food is very simple, very bland, and not good seasoning on anything. Just know that going in. Always had fast and friendly service. Good place in auburn but don't go for a great steak, go for a cheap steak.

Let's start with this. For me, a steak is not a half inch thick and is eaten without needing steak sauce. My steak here, while at the correct temperature, was too thin to have the texture and flavor that I expect from an outstanding cut of cow. What a shame. Bring on the Heinz 57. However, someone liking thin cuts would be pretty pleased. Ambiance - not much beyond basic. Steamed vegetables were a tad overcooked but worse, were also just plain bland. No excuse for that. Service was great. In short, if you are after a steakhouse steak, this certainly ain't the place but if you are after a decent cut of beef. great service and are tired of Golden Corral, certainly go.

Alright folks, let me start this review by admitting that when my friend recommended this place, that I was all but apprehensive. I'm not the biggest fan of "southern" restaurants. Let me continue the review by saying: holy gauc. Drop everything you're doing and go check this place out. Now. I'm not sure how to express the goodness of this food except to say that it is quite literally mouth watering. Even something as seemingly basic as green beans - cooked to perfection. Worth every penny no matter what you order, and I can say this rather confidently because I snagged a few bites from everyone's plates. Not ashamed either. I think I tipped half my paycheck. Let me end the review by saying that this will change your mind about Alabama forever. It's that good.

Hands down, best steak you will have in Auburn and any restaurant within 50 miles. For $10, I had a top sirloin, delicious thick potato wedges, and broccoli and carrots. The steak was so delicious and so soft that I didn't even need barbecue sauce with that. This restaurant is easily one of Auburn's hidden and finest gems. It almost seems like the customers here don't even know that. The waiting area has a play area for kids and the salad bar area is shaped like a wagon from the Oregon Trail.

Not impressed at all. From what others tell me, it's declined recently. Ordered my steak medium, and the thing was basically burnt. I am also sure they do not use any seasoning whatsoever. Just bland tasting. Beyond that, there are little side options and the "salad bar" is not that great. I'd rather go to Outback.

My Asian crews brought me to here, and literally, it's been a well-known steak restaurant in Auburn. If I rank all the steak restaurants I ever had life time; it would be in top 3. They're self livestock, all the meat are organic. The steak's degree of doneness are clearly explained on the menu. Environment is a typically American style southern farm town restaurant, feel like I was in Texas. I had 12 oz ribeye-steak with potato wedges. DO NOT order the potato wedges side. The salt is gonna kill you. My friend and I can't even finish only one strip of it, over salty.

Good Ol' Boys is an Auburn student staple. It's the best steak you're going to get South of Atlanta and North of Mobile and probably the best value in the city. All the steaks are ridiculously big and are cooked with you're exact level. A rare steak here is no joke. If you want medium-rare, don't mess around and get rare. I always one up with my cooking here and go with a medium (always comes out medium-rare). GOB has a huge salad bar, get your hands on the potatoe salad, and tons of southern fried food. I eat here on a weekly basis and would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the surrounding area.

This is not a classy steak house if that is what you're looking for, this is in the middle of a cow pasture, no "ambiance" at all. Steaks remind me of Quincy's or Ryan's, similiar type quality and presentation. If you want a cheap steak in a laid back atmosphere, then this is a good place

Excellent. Just excellent. The prices were very nice. $13.99 for 16 oz sirloin.
