What a wonderful experience. We enjoy staying in Auburn on our way to the grandparent's house and this was fantastic. The owners are incredibly gracious and accomodating. The house and yard are beautiful. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and perfect for our family of four. If all that wasn't enough, the breakfast is amazing. Our family can't wait to return. If there was a sixth star to give, I'd of done it.

This is a beautiful B&B located in downtown Auburn. I stayed there several times a few years ago and just recently visited this past weekend (August 2014). The B&B was purchased by new owners, Steve and Sara, in November 2013. They were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to be friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they accommodated by food allergies, which I GREATLY appreciated. It was by far the best breakfast I have enjoyed at a B&B- grits, eggs, pancakes (gluten free ones!), bacon, fruit, any several other items I have probably forgotten about. The house is beautiful and there are numerous places to relax around the property or on their porch. We invited a friend over and had a nice, relaxing evening outside on the patio. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and cannot wait until the next time I return!

This was the nicest bed and breakfast we've ever been too. The house and grounds were beautiful, breakfast was delicious and our room was spacious and comfortable. The owners, Steve and Sarah Jenkins, were so welcoming and hospitable and made sure that we had everything we needed and let us check in hours in advance because we had an early flight. They even gave us rides to town because we didn't have a car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone staying at Auburn.

I can't believe I didn't realize this place exisited in Auburn. I must have driven by it almost every single day for the past two years. I found Crenshaw Guest House when I was looking for pet friendly accomodations. My call was prompty answered and thankfully I didn't need a room during a home football game (an impossible feat in Auburn). The lady in charge that weekend was quick to let me know that they wouldn't have a room ready until about 4 PM (I called around 10 am) but she would do everything to get me a room as soon as possible. True to her word, she calls around 1:30 and viola, I could check in. The only negative thing I noticed was that their driveway was hard to see. The sign needs to be a little bigger. The Guest House is this huge historic beautiful house with about four guest cottages in the back. All the cottages are pet friendly. Each room has its own unique name and I stayed in the studio. They provide an actual key, which was a nice change from the cards you get at normal hotels. My room was just perfect. Two queen size beds, a kitchen area, a study area, free wifi, a fridge anda microwave. Ideal for anybody needing to stay a few days in Auburn. It was also very quiet. The lawn was perfectly manicured and they had a nice open area in the back for the doggies to play. Breakfast was lovely the next day. You pretty much ask for what you want and it is made to order. At the time you want it. Breakfast is served in the dining/living area which has a lot of windows so that you can enjoy the lovely view. Highly recommended for anybody needing a quiet but comfortable stay in Auburn. It was pretty much a lot more like being at home and a lot less like staying in a hotel.

My fiancee and I spent a Saturday night at the Crenshaw Guest House and could not have been more pleased. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and our room was great. We stayed in the Petrie Suite which was a gorgeous two rooms with the old Victorian feel. As for the location of the Crenshaw Guese House, it can't be beat with only a 10 minute walk to Toomer's Corner. Lastly, the breakfast was the best part of the expierence as George (the owner) brought out some delicious food. Ranging from fruit salad, to raspberry pancakes with creme, sausage, bacon and eggs. A great way to start the day. Definantly the place to stay at Auburn and we are looking for an excuse to visit Auburn again.
