Reasonably priced and good. With a very limited menu, you know that what you are going to get is quality. The sliced pork was very good and the baked beans were some of the best I've ever had. I can see why it's been around for a long time!

BBQ sandwich, sliced, "all the way" has no comparison on the planet. nice chicken plate. Good bbq salad too.

A staple on the plains for years, never had a bad meal and we look forward to visiting whenever we come back to Auburn University. Their breakfast is phenomenal as well!

Best cheapest breakfast in town. Always lots of students and locals humming in here. So Delish everytime. And looking over the counter into the bbq pit will make your mouth water. All that savory pork slow cooking all day can be smelled all through campus. Mmmmm

Price's is a popular spot near campus to eat a solid breakfast of grits, eggs, bacon, biscuits etc. Prices are very competitive and the food is cooked to order. I always enjoy eating here when I'm in town and would recommend to others. It can get busy in mornings so stop in early.

Was pretty good for non NC style bbq. I'm just not a big fan of heavy use of thick sauce stirred into the meat. Thick sauces are great on ribs and outside surfaces of meat chunks but not wild about it being so saucy it becomes soup or stew like. One thing for sure though they give you very large portions. It was about all I could do to eat it all. On the turkey sandwich my friend had, he loved it and said the bread was better than most deli's bread. Better than Subway bread! He also enjoyed the bbq sauce and used it to dip the sandwich in.

It had been a long time since I had eaten BBQ. A friend brought over a pound of chipped pork with sauce, buns, beans, and slaw. This was better than some of my favorite local BBQ dives. I read the other reviews and if you don't like a mustardy yet sweet sauce, do not get the slaw. I LOVED it, but you might not. I love Chuck's BBQ too but this was better by a smidgen. Everything was good, and when it was gone I missed it so much I had to go buy myself a sandwich to ease my withdrawals. Not sure of service/value as it was take out and I didn't buy, but however much it is, it was worth it.

They have the best chipped sandwiches I have ever had I always get 4 of them. I have not had anything from there that was bad and the sweet tea is awesome

Jeff at Price's has always been so good to me! I LOVE the food at Price's Barbecue House. Highly reccommended!

I live in Birmingham but love to come back to the Barbecue House when home visiting my parents. No one in Birmingham makes a chipped BBQ sandwich that compares to the one here! Get it with pickles. I prefer no slaw, but those that put slaw on their sandwich say it is good too. Enjoy!

When you're in the mood for saucy ribs, this is your place in Auburn. The pulled pork is good, but not the best.

Pork sliced with mustardy like bbq sauce on walmart bun, alright. Sweet tea, southern sweet. Bbq chopped chicken sandwich, geez did somebody make this in a crock pot?yuck! Turkey on hoagie, thickly sliced on a hoagie no sauce. I don't know didn't try it but my kid ate . But he's an eater and if ain't veggies he'll eat it. BBq rib platter, geez what are these ?lamb ribs, dainty 4 or 5 a scoop of patato salad & baked beans 12$. Brunswick stew, thick like chili except gross. So food ok not great.People find joy in different foods, especially if they haven't been cooking since they were 12 and can't tell when it is good or bad. Service, noboby there but us, little girl taking our order in a hurry with batittude!

I saw Barbeque House on a list of the Top 10 Must-Eats in Auburn-Opelika. I stopped by thinking I'd get some kind of memorable meal. Not so much. I chose the Barbeque House platter which comes with pork and two sides. Pork is offered chipped or sliced. I'm not sure what chipped is - it's not as chunky as chopped - but that's what I chose. The meat was delicious and flavorful and there was a generous portion, but the baked beans looked and tasted straight out of a Van Camps can. And the Brunswick stew was pitiful, barely a thin dark gruel, with barely discernible pieces of corn and tomato and minimal meat. It was flavorless. Adding Tabasco sauce and extra pork from my plate didn't do enough to make it edible. It also had a slightly burnt taste as if it had been kept over heat too long. A couple of slices of white bread and a heap of dill pickles rounded out the plate. Disappointing to say the least and not the legendary meal I was expecting.

I had high expectations for this place and they were met when we arrived this afternoon. Two chipped pork sandwiches, no slaw, is what I was told to get and that is all you need to get. I added a sweet tea which was excellent as well...not to sweet...just sweet enough. I even tasted my wife's brunswick stew and it was pretty good (not usually a big fan). This is now going to be a normal stop for us any time we venture to south Alabama.

Awesome BBQ! They made this out of towner feel right at home. I asked them what was best and how to order it and boy did they deliver. Make it a visit!

Good but not too memorable. The meat was plentiful and tender but was a little thin on taste to me. I wasn't a big fan of their sauce either but a bit of tobasco on the table helped make me happy. No complaints on the service. It was speedy, friendly and the great location right by campus was super convenient.

I visit Barbecue house for breakfast. I just recently discovered they serve breakfast and it is good comfort food. They have a variety of things on their menu- pancakes, french toast (amazing by the way), hashbrown, toast and since we live in the south, they have grits. It is pretty inexpensvie relatively good food. They have the breakfast platter where you get two eggs, toast and hashbrowns or grits, a meat of your choice and a drink for less than six dollars. You can watch as the guy cooks your food on an open grill. My biggest complaint is that it tends to be a little oily, otherwise I think they do a good job. Since I generally tend to avoid meat, I haven't eaten there other than during breakfast hours. It is my new favorite spot to eat some food in the morning.

It's a rare treat for me to be able to grab breakfast during a weekday. So if the opportunity presents itself, I always head out to Price's Barbecue House. Everything is done to a "t". Thick slabs of bacon, crispy hash browns, perfectly cooked over easy eggs (though they'll cook them in any barbaric form that you'll ask, included scrambled) and my double order of buttered toast and some of the best sweet tea in the area. With tip, my breakfast runs me $12 but the sense of satisfaction I leave with will stick with me even through the roughest of work days.

Good barbeque. 7 1/2 out of 10 for the pork. Good sides, good prices. Staff is very friendly to boot!

Pretty good BBQ. I live both breakfast and lunch here. The Brunswick stew is pretty awesome.

I order the sliced sandwich all-the-way at least once a week.

The food is amazing! I have eaten breakfast and lunch there all the time for years! It's always great!! Breakfast is just like my mom cooks at home. Cooked to order and just how you ask. The BBQ is always juicy and perfectly cooked. The stew is fabulous and perfect for a cold day.

GET THIS: Que Stew Soup which is basically chili and pork but oh my gosh, if I came back here, I'll order 2 of them. The pork is the best thing here. Don't bother with the other stuff. DO NOT GET: BBQ slaw. It tastes like coleslaw added with lots of mustard unless if that's your thing. They also give you lots of white bread which I think is suppose to go with the meat you order. I don't recommend eating the bread with the meat. This place is really quiet inside with Fox News going on in the background. The employees here are also really nice and helpful especially if you want to sit somewhere where chairs are blocking you. They move them for you! It's a little bit pricey if you're not into sharing.

--- Look for the pig with the Auburn jersey on... (War Eagle!) This is one of Auburn's premier BBQ places, Barbecue House is also known to some as Price's. It's been here a long time, since 1978. The food is very good, students usually arguing over which

If you like Mustard based sauce, this is your place. In my opinion, BBQ sauce is ketchup based so I prefer Mike N Eds or Byrons. However, breakfast here is always on point. But that being said, this is #3 on the list with Byron's and Mike N Eds ahead of it.

I'm from Texas and it took some getting used to Alabama pork bbq but the barbque here is ammazzing! I'm not a huge fan of potato salad but the potato salad so good. So is their sweet tea. One weird thing is they don't have fries which is odd not to have with BBQ. Try their chipped chicken BBQ sandwich it's tender and better for you than pork :)

This was my favorite place for breakfast during college and that hasn't changed. I only wish it was open for breakfast on the weekends so I could still visit when in town. Terrific BBQ as well.

One of the best bbq places in town. I love the mustard base sauce here so much. It brings back many memories in college eating here.

When I see a bunch of old men in line, it traditionally means its not good and it's successful due to being the first and only place in town. However, this place is legit. Get the BBQ Sub. Very original idea.

Sauce was VERY VERY SALTY. Beans were mediocre. I would NOT go back to this place

BEST BARBECUE IN THE WORLD... there I said it... the world... no really...the world. Skip the chips and the sides and go for a double order of chipped pork sandwich... add some extra sauce and a few drops of tabasco and you are good to go

Never had a bad meal here, anytime of day! Great sweet tea, friendly staff. Generally very crowded, especially for breakfast.

I would have to say that this is still the best barbecue in Auburn. I really think I would extend that out further than just Auburn. I recently came back to Auburn after leaving in 96 and this place has not changed. It is great, i suggest the chipped sandwich, make that 2 and you have a meal

Been here a few times and always left happy. The Que Stew is a Brunswick stew with extra pork bbq on top. Very tasty. The sweet tea is good as well. I asked for some extra white bread and they were very accommodating. Definitely prefer this place over Mike & Ed's.

The barbeque is about average but they have the best potato salad in town! I have been known to go there and buy just the potato salad to go. The best sandwich on their menu is the smoked turkey sub. They smoke the turkey themselves and it is sliced thick like the turkey at thanksgiving dinner.

Not my favorite barbecue in Auburn. Mike and Ed's or Byron's is better. However, I'm writing this review because management just threatened to call the police on me for "parking", aka waiting with my three kids in the parking lot in our minivan while my wife ran in to get take out from Tazikis. We were there for a max of five minutes. I will never go there again.

I'm not too big a fan of mustard sauce, so I didn't care for Prices Barbecue House. The pork had decent juiciness to it, and the people were friendly, but they need to have options atleast, for those of us who prefer tomato based sauces.
