This always seems to be my best option when in Auburn. It's always crowded, but never too cramped. The inside bar is huge and wraps around, so you can easily get a drink, no matter where you are standing. There's also a large patio if you want some fresh air. Apparently, they've planted some replica Tommer's live oaks out there, though I didn't step outside to see them on my last visit. During football season, they do a live analysts show from here. If you don't have a ticket to the game, definitely check it out from 17-16

Went to 1716 after tailgating for the first time. It's an okay place but it felt like friggin amateur hour. Noone seems to be able to hold their liquor. Drunk ass sorority bitches lol. The drinks are dirt cheap( well to us new yorkers it is), and the music is good. I probably won't be returning unless all of the other bars are too packed.

I was in Alabama for training when I decided to meet up with some army buddies in Auburn after a rodeo. I'm from NY so this was all new for me but we went to this bar and it was a ton of fun. Soooo many pretty girls and its easy to talk to them with my Yankee accent. Everyone was super friendly including the bar staff. Nothin bad about this place. Great time!

Maybe I am a little biased since all of my friends are bartenders/bouncers here. But the service is always great and the atmosphere isn't half bad. Live music on the deck during the summer is always a plus and the drink specials are pretty good. If you get lucky and hit it up on a night the owner is drinking it a damn near shit show. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Finally a bar in Auburn that is popular enough to still have some space to walk. The back area is a nice place to really relax and not have to worry about being shoved around by less sober individuals. This place never gets crowded enough for you to worry about being pushed around. There is a pleasant back area that has live band music playing on the weekends. Luckily for the drunchies (drunk munchies), Little Italy and Moe's BBQ is conveniently across the street and in perfect walking distance for those in heels.

One of my least favorite bars in Auburn. It's nothing in particular but I just never have a good time here. Drinks are more expensive for apparently no reason. It is one large bar that covers both sides of a long rectangular room, even though it really is one room they must have made this bar from two existing businesses so it feels very separated. I never know which side to go to and to get out back and to the outside bar you have to squeeze past the pool table... This is never fun to try and do and if the bar out back is closed, well then you have to do it all over again. Every time I come to Auburn we'll end up coming here and every time I question why...

A decent size bar in a college town. For some reason the bartender, happened to be the most beautiful middle eastern man I have ever seen. Straight GQ. Where the hell am I? What the hell are you doing in Auburn, Alabama? Yeah, you can pour me a drink, you can pour me a couple of drinks, let me recruit these young college students around me to my soon to be former company, they are looking for all kinds of talent, and let me just have filthy thoughts about you. Service was a tad slow, not overly organized in the way people were served, but, I soon forgot about that staring at mr. man. The crowd is well college students, I felt a tad old, like any minute, I expected myself to say something stupid, like these are the best years of your life - I don't mean it, but I still want to say it. Pretty nice, but a few people felt compelled to bump into me and not excuse themselves, this does not make me happy. Had a good time, and it kept me from losing my mind in the hotel room.
