Hardees=Carls Jr. You would think, right? Not so fast...........Ill explain. I've been to Carls Jr for breakfast a few times in CA and each and every time I have left disappointed. What should have been good turned out to be meh. Biscuits were hard as a rock, had no flavor, limited options etc. On the other hand, Hardees has been awesome for breakfast. During my stay, I have sampled a country ham biscuit, a country fried steak biscuit, a chicken biscuit and a pork chop biscuit. Oh yeah... and I had a chicken tender sandwich here one day for lunch too. Each and every time it has been delicious. The biscuits are bigger, softer, tastier etc than any Carls Jr I have ever been to. I would come here frequently for breakfast if I lived close. Hell....I know I'm definitely coming here for breakfast tomorrow seeing its my last day in town. I also laughed like crazy after overhearing this interaction between the drive through lady and the car in front of me. Driver of the car in front of me- "I want a such and such burger WITHOUT the bacon on it" Worker- And I quote, "You don't want the bacon? You finna change the whole complexion of that sandwich, boy". I laughed and had to roll up my window to compose myself for a minute so they didn't hear me giggling. It sure was funny! Good times!
