Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

My wife and I have eaten here often. The food is good and the service is okay. The serving size at around $10 a plate isn't to bad (from the menu not the buffet) although recently it seems to have diminished a little. It's not bad food for the price but I'm sure they could season it up a little more then they do to add a little more kick. Other then that they always bring WAY to much rice. I also must say the sake and the tea are great, just be careful standing up afterwords.

Delicious food, I've gone many times now (2015) and the food has yet too disappoint. Always tons of food, leaving STUFFED with a box of leftovers! Only complaint would be poor decor, looks like it needs a make-over. Very old and worn down looking. That of course won't stop me from going and getting my Chinese food fix!

We have eaten here about 5 times in the past two years. It seems like we stay away long enough to forget how bad the last time was!! LOL!! I can say we have had good luck with the broccoli beef and the Mongolian beef. Don't get the buffet if they have it out. They bring out tiny portions and if someone hogs all of what you wanted, it's gone. The egg rolls and crab wonton that were on the buffet had been there a long, long, long time too. You leave the place feeling really awful about how willingly you will eat crappy food.

I came in for a quick to go order. There was absolutely nobody in the restaurant. I told him that I was just looking for me and my four kids. he said the dinner for three you should probably be fine. I told him yes that's great I just want to make sure we have sweet and sour pork and some fried rice. I was waiting in my truck and he came and brought it out to me which was nice. Cine to find out he gave us an order of sweet and sour pork with white rice, and then a huge order of fried rice, and that was all. The pork tasted great although air was not very much of it. the fried rice was really gross. It had such a horrid aftertaste that I ended up throwing most of it away. this was the first time I've ever gone there and I don't think I'll go back unless I'm really in the mood for Chinese food. and then I just want to order the rice

Yuck. Bland, tasteless food. Dirty and full of storage.... never going back.

Ordered take out. Pepsi was expired as of last August (2014) and the food was extremely bland. We used to live in Wasilla and came here often so we were excited to try it again while on vacation. It has gone downhill both in food quality and cleanliness of the actual restaurant. There were boxes stacked all over as a previous reviewer stated and the place just seemed dingy! I'm not sure if we just hit it on an off night or if its always this bad now!

My wife and I eat here on occasion, and we've brought the kids on a couple of occasions. The food is hit and miss. The fried prawns appetizer is decent, but the fried vegetable appetizers (zucchini, mushrooms, and onion rings) consistently have a really odd almost metallic taste. Not sure what's going on with that, but I've stopped ordering appetizers. The won ton soup and spinach bean curd soup are both decent. My kids love the mongolian beef, sweet and sour shrimp, and the shrimp loo mein. My favorites are the garlic chicken and the princess prawns. I've also tried and enjoyed the sizzling rice shrimp. The decor is a bit odd: just piles of asian stuff everywhere. The background music is always set on asian pop, which can be a little annoying, if you can't tune it out. The service is usually okay - not top notch, but what you would expect from a family-run Chinese restaurant. Bottom line: for the price, it's not bad - my wife and I either split an entree (usually princess prawns), or we order two meals and have plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.

Went here nov. 2/2013 about 5:30 pm Bad service bad food did not like it all. If I was ever asked if it was any good I would say no. Barbecue pork cases like it was spoiled rotten the rest of the food just had a really bad flavor we took maybe two bites out of the whole meal and told them we can't because we're trying to be nine it was I would just not ever recommended. It's really really bad Chinese food I would be a shame if I was Chinese.

We got take out and wow, the shrimp fried rice has got to be the blandest fried rice I've ever eaten. They literally give you 3-4 pieces of shrimp and charge a premium for it. The fried rice at - dare I say it?! - Panda Express is more delicious (touted with the promise of NO MSG) than this garbage. I had to do something that ive never done before with fried rice - I opened a packet of soy sauce and poured it all over the rice. I usually avoid soy sauce unless I'm eating sushi, since my palate is sensitive to high sodium foods. Just because there's such a small population if Chinese (or Asian in general) doesn't give them the excuse to make crappy food and charge a premium for it. I can't really rate their service because we had delivery, but the food arrived in a timely manner. It's most likely due to the chefs tossing everything together carelessly. Thank goodness that I'm from California, and only a short drive away from amazing/authentic/cheap Chinese food in Los Angeles. Plus, my mom, siblings, and boyfriend can make better fried rice than this place. Good thing I also stuffed my face at din tai fung, cham sut gol, genki living, and Sunday Bistro for the two weeks prior to my visit to Alaska. Skip if you've had Chinese food from anywhere outside Alaska or want to save $$. Sankyuu~

I'm only giving 2 stars as 10 years ago when I went to this place the food was amazing they were voted the best restaurant in the valley there food was always expected to be awesome. The last 2 times I took my family to this place it has not been the same. It's clear they lost site of a good place or just don't care anymore.

Food was really good. Service was good. The place was kind if cluttered though and that took away from our dining experience.

Love their princess prawns. Perfect spice. Kids love eating here with us.

I've been here a couple of different times, and find the food mediocre at best. Last night we went for dinner. Service was speedy & staff was friendly, but upon arrival one of our hot tea cups was filthy & the table was a less than sparkling clean. We were kind of in a corner near a strange collection of things piled up on some adjacent tables (a telescope, a large window fan, computer box, printer, fax, stereo). Hubby ordered the Mongolian Beef & Sweet & Sour Chicken special - it came w/fried rice, soup, an egg roll and a fried wonton for $15. He said it wasn't the greatest. I had the Mongolian Beef & Sweet & Sour Shrimp for $17(?). I honestly couldn't tell there was shrimp inside the soggy batter. Didn't really care for the flavor in the egg roll. The egg drop soup was good, but had overly soft (falling apart) matchsticks of zucchini. I would have preferred the zucchini had more of a crunch to it. The fried rice was okay too, had bits of pork (?) in it and seemed to have a LOT of onions. We really don't have any decent Chinese food (in my opnion) in the Valley, but we thought we'd give them a try again. This was after we stopped at the Chinese over by Ihop (can't remember the name), walked in, it was packed (all 8 or so tables) and an older gentleman was walking out and said it would be at least 1 1/2 hrs to get food.
