Solid choice. Decent food. Old dated atmosphere. If you have a group or a few teenagers to feed, this is a best bet. Good squid. Good chicken. Good sushi (nothing extra special, but well done and fresh) full buffet line.

I usually do not write reviews about restaurants. But I honestly feel ROBBED here at Kings Buffet. I am currently sitting in the restaurant right now. I specifically came here on a for crab. They charge $17.95 per person on Friday and Saturday. That is quite reasonable if crab is included. Unfortunately I was just informed that there is NO MORE CRAB! However the rude lady that obviously is the owner laughed when she said it was no more crab. But got a very serious look on her face when I asked were they still going to charge $17.95. This is very disappointing, the only reason I came here was for All You Can Eat Crab.

The wife and I usually hit this place up a few times a month. But today is the first time I've decided to review this place. The service was terrible and the food was old and dry. We were lucky to get in right before about 20 others came in, but yet the staff still couldn't be bothered to freshen up the food. This place is usually pretty good, but today was a real disappointment.

Very good selecction,made onsite not a lot pre packaged stuff. I had been hankern for some eggfoo young and much to my supprise it was on the buffet.and pretty good too. One thing i did not like was they cleaned off the plates into a bucket at the table .very unaptising clean them off in back.

Best sushi place in wasila. Infact its the only one we go to anymore out of anchbor the valley. Thats saying allot since 5 days a week we are in anchorage

This place is very deceptive and unappealing when you first walk in. And I would agree with other reviewers that the staff seems a bit unpleasant. However, the food was incredible and they have a ton of variety. Many types of food I've never seen offered at other buffets. Some of the higher quality options included salmon roll sushi, cheesy baked muscles, several shrimp dishes including coconut shrimp, best I've ever had seasoned potatoes, a large desert bar with many unique options, and much much more! Maybe a lot has changed here since some previous reviewers visited because I for one will definitely be coming back!

Yes I reitarate this place is DISGUSTING, food, service, location and building. The service couldn't care less and even spoke japenese under their breath to the other employees at what we asked! The building was dirty old and dark. The food warm and looked and tasted a few days old. To top it off the staff sat watching a horrible, graphic zombie movie on the tv hanging in the corner of the room for us to see...... o wouldn't even watch something like that in private let alone expect it at a "restaurant". This place is terrible and I will NEVER go again or EVER recommend this place.

Good quality food, with a great variety, including sushi in addition to the usual Chinese buffet food. Very reasonably priced, especially for a hungry tourist family. Highly recommended.

My mom and I brought my toddler with us to lunch there, the staff was incredibly rude, the food was nasty, and the owner tried to add $5 to my bill at the register because she watched me give my son some fruit off my plate! I will never go there again, and definitely don't recommend to parents.
