Good food, Bad service! We walked in after a long day of duck hunting and we were seated in the back corner. Our waitress asked for our drink orders, returned with the drinks, took our order, and the waiting game began. I ordered french toast with 2 eggs (over easy), sausage, and hash brown. My buddy ordered waffles and similar side orders. After 45 minutes our waitress finally reappeared to serve our food, then again disappeared and 15 mins layer returned with the check. We weren't asked if we needed refill on coffee and OJ. However, I can't complain about the food my french toast tasted great and the eggs were done perfectly. (Although I couldn't stop thinking about the movie road trip while waiting for french toast - no complaints about powdered sugar) I still smiled and we left a $4 tip. And I'm usually a generous tipper. I do still recommend this place for the food but not so much the service. 3.5/5 stars!

Epic fail. This restaurant does one thing. It is preplanned and mostly premade. How hard is that? Apparently beyond the reach of the employees. Food was so bad we couldn't eat it. Manager agreed and comped our meals after the second attempt, but we hadn't eaten so went up the hill to another place. Bad. Don't go.

ihop is my go to anytime I want some easy cheaper food. They make GREAT food, but the staff is a little iffy. I go all the time.

It's not what it used to be. The pancakes are still good, but other than that, meh. We haven't been back in a while. Wait staff was fine, but I don't want to hear about their daily lives when they're yelling back and forth with the line cooks.

I wouldn't even give this place a single star, but since I have to give a rating, it has to be a single star. This place has gone so down hill. The waitresses are rude and make you feel like you're wasting their time. The food is disgusting. I've never seen less passion in a dish than what I have seen at iHop. My husband ordered a dish that has shredded beef, and all he got in his omlette was one single huge chunck of beef. My mother ordered fruits that were at the verge of going bad. My country fried steak was as tough as leather. I created an account here just to write a review about this place. I am ashamed that this store is even apart of wasilla. End of story.

Me and my family was just at this Ihop in Wasilla Alaska restaurant the service was average in the beginning, but my problem is when we're waiting, and waiting and waiting, we see folks come and go and were waiting, we asked the waitress what was the hold up she says our order is coming up which from the wait they had to go kill a cow or slaughter a hog. So we packed up and left, I know where I will never eat again and I will tell all my family and friends. Or maybe it was a black thing oh well before I ever eat there again hell will freeze over. We went to the family restaurant, and the service was great 10 minutes we had our meals.

So long story short... I temporarily lost my mind earlier this evening and thought it would be a good idea to go to IHOP. The young hostess kept insisting that our party of eight sit in a booth. Had to tell her several times to put us at a table, finally she relented. Our sever got us drinks fast and althought the place was half empty, we got our food 45 minutes later, all cold. By that time every one was starving so instead of complaining we choked down the wretched fare. Some random Valley weirdo was drinking syrup right out of the bottles behind us which prompted a flurry of iPhone photography. Luckily the waitress diplomatically told him that she needed the syrups for refilling, she never brought them back out for him. Save yourself the heartache and do not take a chance on the IHOP!

I never thought I'd be writing a review for IHOP, but I think this one deserves it. I was driving up from Anchorage to Denali and it was getting pretty late. We decided to stop in Wasilla for food, so I busted out my Yelp iPhone app right away to try to find some local goodies. With my picky parents, anything Mexican or Italian was a no-no. Japanese not so much. When I told them there was an IHOP around, somehow they quickly made their mind up and were set on it. I was in the middle of a bad cold, so I was way too sick to argue with them. We ordered the Sirloin Steak Tips Dinner, Grilled Tilapia Hollandaise, and Swedish Crepes. Everything was perfectly prepared and the portions were just right for our hungry stomachs. Gotta love the way IHOP makes their Hollandaise sauce, which makes a great addition to their flaky Tilapia. The crepes had lingonberry jam on top, which you can't really find anywhere else. You really can't go wrong with IHOP. Everything is always prepared well, but in Alaska it somehow just tastes even better. The waiter was also very kind and we had a nice long conversation about our upcoming travel. Gotta recommend this IHOP to any hungry traveler on the way to Denali!

total rip off to charge so much for waffles when you get nothing else with them. and hello? hotels now give away unlimited waffle bars with continental breakfasts - why can't you loosen the purse strings a little for a popular item?

went with a huge group of people on a Sunday and got good service and everything came as ordered. it's iHop, so don't expect much in terms of variety and culinary greatness. but this is a good iHop because it was clean and the service was good, even on a busy day.

Breakfast for breakfast, breakfast for lunch, breakfast for dinner. I love breakfast, and whenever I am in Wasilla, I go for the pancakes at IHOP. Always good. I like my coffee stronger, but beyond that, a great place to enjoy your major breakfast items all day long!

I am wavering between a 2 or a 3. The place was packed but they were only using one side of the restaurant. So there was an empty half and a half completely filled with every type of clientele imaginable, including plenty of screaming babies. Two waitresses were so busy with about ten tables each that they were shouting "be right there!" over the top of everyone. It was like a very noisy, crowded bar with kids. The waitress we had was so tired when she took our order she sat right down at the table with us. She played it off as being friendly and goofy but she was my age, so I knew she was dead tired. Without me asking she assured me that even though they were busy, "the kitchen is cranking out the food fast!" As promised, we got our food in a timely manner and it was very good. The blueberry pancakes were fantastic as was the breakfast sandwich my daughter got. It was huge and packed with ham and the onion rings she got as a side were fantastic! The children's meals are pretty run of the mill but free (kids eat free in the evening hours with the usual limitations). The food I could see other people getting looked good, as well. I left a good tip but told the cashier we wouldn't be back - too noisy and crowded. She nodded in agreement. Man, I feel sorry for anyone that works there.
