Best value burger by far. Call in best.

Great burger. One of best meals we have had in Alaska. If I was in Texas I would say it needed to be grilled more and more seasoning. But for Alaska, damn good burger.

Starving and lost in Kenai I stumbled on this place. Don't the slightly sketchy looking location keep you from giving this place a try. The lady inside the bus could not be nicer. She took our order and 15 minutes later we were eating some of the best burgers we have ever had. The fry portion was huge and really good. If you find your self in the area seek this gem out. It's worth driving out of the way for!

A hometown classic. There's no better burger in Kenai or Soldotna, period. I've been getting burger bus since I was a little kid and its only gotten better with time. Burgers, classic diner sides, all served up with a smile every time. Love this place, and the food.

This is the best burger on the kenai!!!!!!

A very good burger at a reasonable price.. They have a large menu for such a small place, lots of burger choices as well as chicken sandwiches. The fries are the standard mass produced type; the onion rings were tasty but we received ours cold. The burger flavor was good though not outstanding and the bun wasn't toasted which was slightly disappointing. Burger for burger I'd rank this my #2 burger spot on the Peninsula, with Blue Moon Burgers in Soldotna #1.

Best burgers on the peninsula. Bar none. I like the Kenai Killer with onion rings. Great food and friendly people, what more can you ask for?

By far the best burger in town. Don't let the location or the bus fool you. Make sure you try the Kenai Killer. Great friendly owners as well. Make sure you call in the order if it's close to lunch time.

Despite its outwards appearance, this place has some the best best burgers we have every had. The portion size on the burger is big and the amount of fries they give you is gigantic! Definitely a place you need to eat at if you enjoy a great burger.

Well we always eat there when we go up to visit family, so it is a bit unfair for me to review it, but we had such a great time (this last time) I thought I would post. I don't even know how many times I've eaten there, but they all have been very good. First off, this isn't PDX (as some other reviewer mentioned). This is Kenai. It's an old bus, it's in a parking lot, you wait for your food outside. All that should set you up a bit before you order. Which isn't to downplay it, it's to let you know this place is NOT trying to be something else. It's a bus that serves burgers! Period! And they are delicious! I mean, you can only make a burger so well, so in my book, this place serves it's purpose to a T. They give you a TON of fries with your burger, so if the burger doesn't fill you up, the fries probably will! They are SOOO nice there. It is almost freaky how polite and nice they are. We had a Halibut burger (which a few years ago was off the mark, but it is back on and very good), Mushroom and Swiss and the Kenai Killer. All were great. So if you want a good burger, want to support a local business, and don't mind waiting for your food outside (or in your car), well then line up for the Burger Bus! Beep Beep!!

This is a burger dive and the burgers are very good. The food is made to order, so it takes a bit to get. The fries were very good, but the onion rings (battered) were a bit too greasy. The picnic tables are all outside so if it is bad weather need to find a place to eat your food.

Burgers are amazing!!!! Don't forget to ask for the burger punch card, you will be back. 15 minute wait and you have been served.

Good stuff. End of October, sunny and 45. Was still able to eat at the picnic tables in the sun and watch people come and go. Great that you can call ahead with your order! Too bad people hanging out upwind had to smoke. Gross. Had a Big B&G Burger with Swiss (photo posted). I agree with everyone about subbing dill for sweet pickles! Comes with standard McD-style fries. $9.49. A very tasty burger. Not mind-blowing, but not greasy and very good local food.

It was Meh. I have to disagree with all the reviews about this place. It wasn't good to me at all. Coming from PDX the food is amazing over there and this just really missed the mark. Too bad as well, I was starving from the fishing we just did. This food fell short.

Good burgers at a great price.

First time trying the burger bus and it was awesome!!!! I called in the order 10 minutes before they closed and they stayed open till I got there. Burger was great and not greasy which was a great surprise. I would go here again... tomorrow and the next day and the next day.

What, Green Chili Cheese Burgers in Alaska. No way, I'm from New Mexico so I had to try them. One word - OUTSTANDING!!! The burger bus is awesome.
(5)Jon P.
Great burgers. Easily the best in the Kenai/Soldotna area
(5)Ashly S.
Best burgers in town by far & the customer service is ALWAYS great! Now I'm craving one of their burgers & unfortunately no longer live in town.. It'll be one of the first places I eat when I return!

I cant believe Im the first review for the Burger Bus! You ask anyone in Soldotna/Kenai where to get the best burger and they will tell you it's here. They're not real easy to find. Just go to the Kenai Visitor Center entrance and they are across the street behind the strip mall. Cant miss it. It's the bus selling burgers. Kenai Killer is my personal favorite.

If I'm going to eat a burger out, this is the place I go. Their burgers are always made to order and EXCELLENT! I recommend you call in your order in advance because if there is a line, you may have a wait, espeically in warmer weather. I love all the burgers and especially the patty melt. They serve the only pickles I ever eat on a burger.
