I normally wouldn't step foot in the door judging by the appearance on the outside. The inside is much nicer but nothing fancy. The Kung pow chicken and the beef lo main were very good! Sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls, awful. Hot and sour soup...edible but not good.

The food isn't bad, but it wasn't like the typical Chinese food I usually get at other places. I ordered the curry dumplings and seafood noodles. Both were crispy, but not bad. Ingredients were fresh, but the noodles were skimpy on the shrimp and scallops. Interior is very clean but the service takes a long time even in a uncrowded restaurant. I'd try other Chinese places in town.

My husband and I just moved here and we were tired from a day of unpacking so we turned to takeout. We got the house special lo mein and the general tso's chicken. My husband enjoyed the chicken- it had the right amount of kick without it being overly spicy. The chicken also wasn't overly breaded which is not always the case with some places. I LOVED the lo mein! It was at the top of my list with great noodles (thinner than I'm used to) and huge chunks of meat. These are our go-to's when trying out a place and Dragon Inn rocked it. Good stuff!

There aren't many Chinese restaurants in Juneau and they aren't very authentic. Dragon Inn serves the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Juneau. Their roast duck is especially good and I like their Singapore rice noodles. They have dim sum but very limited variety.

Dragon Inn Chinese Cuisine serves decent but not outstanding Chinese food. Visited during their lunch specials. Dim sum is decent, their crab siu mai and Tiramisu dessert was very good. One of their lunch specials I had the pleasure to experience was the filet of halibut in hot garlic sauce with pork fried rice. I asked to keep it mild or not hot, it came very mild, but so delicious, the pork fried rice was so-so. foodspotting.com/reviews…

The table ordered Teriyaki Beef Sticks (very good) and Steamed Crabmeat Suimei (eh..ok) for appetizers. For lunch, had the Fried Filet of Halibut in Hot Garlic Sauce which came with fried rice. It was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. The service was slow (had to get up to ask for water twice when all three of us at the table orded spicy dishes). Server actually seemed kind of irratated that we were there (we were the only ones there when we first arrived). I would go back without complaint if the others I was with wanted to go but probably wouldn't go back on my own; especially with the other choices around town.
