I order pretty much the same thing every time: chicken pad Thai and an order of spring rolls. Good stuff, and the people who run the place are really nice.

Great place I ordered the pho combo and it was so tasty. You don't need to dress this bowl up the flavor stands out for itself. I'll make sure to come back here for other dishes !

Beautiful remodel that makes the room warm & vibrant, much better than the cream walls before. The staff was super sweet as always despite the fact that we came in 30 minutes before they closed. Shrimp fresh rolls are a favorite & the curry is great. Last nights 'medium' spice was a tad hot but tasty. Prices are reasonable also~*

This place is amazing - with varying levels of spicy, it pleases everyone! My summer favorite is the Pork Pad Thai and winter is a heavy internal debate between Curry and Pho. I've tried a ton of stuff on the menu and I haven't had something bad yet. The staff is friendly, fun and helpful. Definitely worth the stop.

The place has a nice staff and quick service. Food was a B and all around a nice little place.

This is coming from a well traveled complete food snob: this place rocks!!!! When you walk in the door the aroma of fresh yummy goodness hits you. The green Thai tea is out if this world! They should sell by the gallon. Spring rolls super fresh and perfectly balanced. Tofu masaman curry is smooth and creamy. My son can't stop eating his shrimp pad Thai long enough to review- just gives a thumbs up!

The food is excellent. The staff is so nice. (When they went to Thailand this summer, they came back with souvenirs for the students who eat there.) The quality and consistency of the food is amazing, especially for a small Alaskan town. My daughter orders chicken curry rice every time, but the pho and regular curry are exceptional.

If you're looking for great atmosphere, don't go here. It is usually very quiet, even when it's busy, and it just feels kind of weird sometimes. The food, on the other hand is very good. The pork larb is particularly good. they have all the usual thai staples and do a good job with all of them. I only tried the pho once, when they first opened. I wasn't too excited about it, but I don't really know anything about Vietnamese food. They make a good Thai iced coffee as well. Prices are in line with what you should expect to pay in a place like Homer.

We were very excited to try this place since seeing their great reviews on urban spoon. When we walked in we got cold stares or say glares from other diners in the restaurant. The host informed us that there was a 45 min wait which he then turned to an hou wait.. which he then quickly turned in an hour and a half wait. I don't mind waiting at restaurants if there is an actual reason to wait. I guess maybe he did not want us to eat there or our money. What I don't understand is how there is such a long wait and 4 perfectly empty tables. They are rated high by urbanspoon.com yet cannot seat a couple in one of their 4 empty tables? This place made me feel terrible. We'll take our business elsewhere.

I had the Pad See Ew with tofu which is usually what I get when I'm at a Thai restaurant that I'm unfamiliar with. The ingredients were fresh and the dish tasted good. However it was unlike any Pad See Ew dish I've ever had. The noodles were thinner and longer, it had broccoli instead of broccoli rabe, it had carrots in it, and it didn't have the dark brown sauce I associate with this dish. In spite of this, was one of the better meals I had in Homer.

Visited because we heard good reviews from locals on our honeymoon. My wife tried the salmon pad thai.. Pad thai is usually my gauge for how good the Thai place is. Hers turned out alright, though I would've liked more peanut flavor. I ordered the Green Curry which was killer. Spicy and served hot, but so delicious at the same time. If you are looking for a pleasant environment to dine, I wouldn't go here. It's like "here's your food.. now eat it and leave." It's not hostile, but it's not a warm atmosphere either. The menu is the same both for lunch and dinner so don't expect price cuts.

Try the salmon curry. I took a friend here and he had this dish. He was so impressed, that he told the owner that this was the BEST Thai food he's had outside of Thailand! Strong words coming from my buddy who is an international airline pilot and samples food all over the world. I always get the pho here, and it is above standard. Tasty broth and comes with real jalapeños as part of the garnish plate. It was a little odd that instead of bean sprouts as one of the other garnish items, they substitute shredded cabbage. No big deal. It's Homer, and that's not the focus of the dish.

Pretty darn good. I am a wimp when it comes to hot stuff, and by accident ordered the panang curry. It was still very tasty even though it made my head sweat. My daughter had the masamam curry fried rice- mild and flavorful. We also Had fresh rolls and an Thai omelet. Excellent choice for dinner.

The Thai food here is lacking in most things... Many traditional ingredients have been swapped out for cheap alternatives and the recipes are seriously bland. They use cabbage instead of bean sprouts in all of their dishes (which seriously takes away from the Pad Thai) and they use cilantro instead of basil in their Pho. I really hope that they improve their food because it's pretty much the only place in Homer that we can get either Pho or Thai food...

Ok so as expected the Thai ( or Asian minus Japanese) is not too good in Alaska. - didn't come here for the Vietnamese. But, I had to give a 4 star because the owner is so sweet and gave great service. I wrongly ordered basil fried rice, and instead, ordered some basil stir fry dish. He kindly re did the dish for me. And when my parents and I wanted hot, they used real chillies to mean it! The basil fried rice with shrimp was spot on for $12.50-- the give you a ton of shrimps and portions are good. My mom had the pas see ew- not sure why in Alaska they seem to cut the noodles short but they did here and at Thai house up in Fairbanks. I didn't try the dish because my mom ordered it with beef, but it looked decent with a lot of veggies. My dad had the chicken Penang curry and it was what you'd expect- a heaping bowl of thick yellow goodness. Could have used more veggies. All in all, a good deal if you want a break from the expensive places on the spit.

This is my go-to for Chicken Larb...it's delicious! I've never had a bad meal here! :)

The food was as terrible as the service. The soup, and entrees were absolutely awful. The wait staff was overwhelmed with three tables, could not seem to get anything done. Oh wait the waiter has plenty of time to play on his phone, instead of doing his job. Run away if you can.

This place was bad! I know I shouldn't have gone to Thay/Pho in Homer, but my dad dragged me. Regardless, it was awful. The Tom Yum just tasted like hot water with too much pepper sauce, and my dad's pho was super salty and tasted like paste. Do not go here. I'll usually eat anything, but not even this.

I had been craving Thai food for some time so when we rolled into Homer and I saw the sign for Pho and Thai I knew that was there we were stopping for lunch. I checked the menu for veggie options and it said that all options could be made veggie. So we ordered some special tofu summer rolls (not on the menu) and I got green curry with veggies and tofu. Both were good. The curry was certainly soupy, spicy and hot so it took me awhile to finish it, but it was great. Just what I needed. I would definitely eat here again.

Homer, AK in mid March - a lot of the shops are closed. Nearly everything along the spit is closed. I was in the mood for soup, and pho sounded appealing. But $13 for a bowl of pho is ridic. Then again, food in Alaska is a little bit pricy... but really? $13 for a bowl of mediocre pho? If this were a Thai or pho place in CA my rating would be lower. Since it is Alaska, it's probably one of the better pho/thai places. The curry is too liquidy and the Tom yum tasted more like pho broth with some sour and spice added to it. Upside is the shrimp in Alaska is plump and tasty, and the tom yum soup was filled with them!

The prices seem a bit steep for a bowl of pho or pad thai, but you have to remember that YOU ARE IN ALASKA! And not just Alaska but Homer, where goods are either barged or trucked in from Anchorage. Vegetable and meat selection are also going to affected since when are tripe and tendon going to be readily available on a daily basis. The food was amazing. I've been to plenty of Thai restaurants and only this one actually gave me the spicy I've been looking for. I'm talking bout make me cry, sobbing, drinking glass after glass of water spicy. And the food was gooooddd!!!! One of the best pad-thai I've had! The staff was attentive and friendly. Food came out in minutes and piping hot. Actually, a couple came in for their take out and a dish was missing, the waiter took down their order, sat them down, and within minutes had the order bagged and ready to go. Now, that's service. For the out of towners, especially those out of state who are used to out of state prices, you gotta remember Alaska is a whole different ball game.

A bare bones eatery in a strip mall that makes passable Pho in Homer, Alaska. I was happy to find this place even if it was just in order to scratch the Pho itch. I cannot speak on any other items on the menu.

Unacceptably expensive. The food is ok but no way am I paying $15 for pho that barely comes with any vegetables (little bit of cabbage and hot pepper). I would happily have paid $7 for this meal.

I know we are in Alaska but you would figure to run a reastaurant you have to decent food. The restaurant I quite big and could accommodate our party of 11. First of all, have you ever had pho for $14.50?! I can get two phos for that price in LA. I know I'm in alaksa but that seems to be highway robbery! The pho tasted decent after I asked for a bowl of hot broth...who likes lukewarm pho? The meat selection was skimpy too. No tendon or tripe despite claiming to be included. Pad thai was $12.50 and sweeter than normal. Note that instead of sprouts the pho comes with cabbage -"no bean sprouts in Homer." the Vietnames food is better than the Thai food. Oh the coconut milk soup is foul! Super salty and gross. The plus was the staff was super friendly and we had a pleasant experience but wish the food tasted better
