Room was neat and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. First morning I discovered the hairdryer didn't work. Called front desk and my husband picked on up right away. A new one was mounted in the room that evening. This is one of very few that has pet friendly rooms. We have traveled all along the west coast with our small dog. This state is very difficult to find pet friendly rooms. (maybe afraid of getting a team of sled dogs). The continental breakfast is good. Anyone can find something to suit their needs. Bacon or sausage, potato, eggs, pancakes or biscuits and gravy along with cereal, breads, yogurt and fruit as well as cook yourself a waffle.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Continental breakfast makes the extra cost of the room worth the price. Nice to have a bar/grill on-site.

The room was clean enough and had a TV, refrigerator, and a nice clean tub with very hot water. Best part: The breakfast had a nice selection of food (waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, etc) and the dining room had a beautiful view of the bay. Worst part: Some of the other guests were rowdy in the wee hours of the morning and could be heard stomping around through the ceiling. The front desk is a little slow and it seems like they are working with an outdated computer program that is making everything much more complicated than it needs to be. We booked one night through Booking.com and then extended our stay once we arrived. Both nights had to be entered separately and all our details needed to be typed in by hand (no copy paste?)- it took over 30 minutes total. That part could be streamlined. But overall the people were very polite and friendly.

Reserved a room and arrived to a smoky smelly room. "Was this a smoking room that you tried to clean?" No, it's a perfectly clean room. "No, it's not, it reeks of cigarette smoke." No it doesn't. " Would you like to come smell it? "If you think it smells open the window." The bar is connected next door. "Then open the door." You don't get it, I'm getting a headache and I just arrived. "Your headache is not from the room." I didn't pay $187.00 a night to sleep in a smoky smelling room. "Well, that's all we have, no one else is having a problem." I'm leaving, this room stinks, the photos are not representative of this facility and this place is a dump. Went online and rented a cabin for $100.00 from Alaska Artic Sun and it was great - clean, fresh and relaxing. Don't ever stay at this crappy Best Western. The Best Western corporate people should take away their standing - this place is gross.

This motel sees a lot of traffic. I had to stay a night prior to putting my boat in the water. My room was clean, and the free hot breakfast buffet was up to par. Nothing special, just a solid place to stay.

This place is not too shabby, the rooms are really clean the price are decent, there's a bar 4 doors away from our room, heehee. If u walk a few blocks, there's a great view of the snow capped mountains and the gorgeous Sea. The quaint town of Homer Alaska is all around you; this is the Halibut fishing capitol of the world.

Worst stay ever!! Don't stay in room 130. We stayed here because they are pet friendly and have a jacuzzi tubs in the room. Sadly, the lights in the jacuzzi didn't work and not all the jets worked either. The maintenance man tried to walk in our room without knocking at night. We were woken up at 8:00 am from the workers getting out the carts and banging around all morning and all day long.. It's just way to loud. Front desk was no help at all.. Won't stay here ever again. We paid way to much for what we got and didn't have a relaxing stay at all.,

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. They have a bar and grill on site so there is no need to drive around town to get something to eat. It should be noted that this hotel is frequented by out of town construction workers. At times it can get a bit noisy.

This was my first experience with Alaska heat and the boilers they have in the rooms are WARM so don't worry about getting cold. They have a bar on site with signed pictures from the crew on The Deadliest Catch. Good local Homer draft beer too. A nice place to stay while in Homer.
