I've been here for a very short amount of time, but this is the best Asian cuisine/habachi I have had yet. The restaurant itself is very clean and nice and the chefs are incredible.

This place was worrisome as far as safety standards go. They had raw chicken with its juices on the same plates as all the other steaks and shrimp waiting to be cooked, so the steaks were essentially marinating in raw chicken juice. It was entertaining but everything was so over salted that my legs and fingers actually started to swell from all the salt. I don't know, I just wouldn't feel good about eating there again. I can't get past the cross contamination.

I've been trying to call SEVERAL times for reservations for dinner for my husband and I, and every time I call the line is either busy or I'm left listening to endless ringing. This discourages me from going there, and all I want is to make dinner reservations!

The service was somewhat poor and the food made both myself and significant other sick. I also did not think it was a worthwhile habachi show.

Typical show at one of these places. Food is decent and the service is pretty good. They make sure your glass is full, and check if you want anything else regularly. If you are a coffee and desert person, head across the parking lot to the Alaska Coffee Roasting Company after dinner for a sweet treat and a cup of good coffee.

Best place I've eaten at in fairbanks I really recommend trying the shimp and salmon. So lovely and they care about people and try to ask to the guy named Mac he's a super good chef.

Okay. The soup, salad, rice, noodles and chicken are all your standard Hibachi flavors. I do like that their veggies have broccoli (typically when i go to a hibachi restaurant they dont have broccoli with the veggies, just zucchini, onions and baby corn - so the broccoli was good) What was gross to me is that the filet mignon tasted like the meat had gone bad. It wasnt every bite... but then again when he laid the steaks on the grill there were several cuts of steak.... that totally grossed me out and i stopped eating. If you have never been to a hibachi grill you will get a kick out of the show... but its a standard hibachi show.

State of the art Hibachi style restaurant - very affordable and meal was absolutely delicious! Meal was cooked at table side complete with spinning spatulas and "egg roll" humor! Staff is attentive and again prices are very affordable. Best lunch in Fairbanks and probably dinner too!

Pretty good restaurant. The outside of the restaurant was mediocre, but that was the only thing that was subpar. Upon entering, we were quickly greeted with a friendly smile. They led us to the teppanyaki grill, and after sitting down, my wife and I reviewed the menu. To my surprise, this restaurant was one of the "cheaper" place we have been, relatively speaking. The menu was cheaply priced for lunch and very fairly priced for dinner, especially for the Fairbanks standard. We started with some fried egg rolls for an appetizer. My wife ordered the steak, while I ordered the steak and added a salmon. Absolutely delicious! It was everything we expected and hoped for! Score one for Fairbanks. What the great about lunch is that it is roughly 40% off the dinner menu with the same portions. With thia in mind, we will be returning!

Love it. Entertaining the most important is I know what I'm eating cause all cook in front of me.

We wanted to come here on Sat night, however the line went out of the building and we weren't about to wait! We called and they said it was pretty much immediate seating, we got there around 6:30 PM, and I am glad we didn't wait any longer. By the time we left they had people waiting for seats to open up. The show was pretty good, it seems to be pretty standard, most places flip shrimp in your mouth if you want to play, they did broccoli here. They did squirt sake in your mouth tho which was an added bonus. It was really good, and I was wishing I would have ordered me some to drink. I was expecting Sushi to be served here as most Hibachi places I have been to had it. However they did not have any. No big deal, I got my edamame. I got the Shogun combo dinner, the filet was great it melted in your mouth, the shrimp were good, and the chicken was awesome. The noodles, rice, and vegies were great. I do like the dipping sauces they give you as well. We had someone in our group with a food allergy to mushrooms and they did a great job at keeping it separate when they were cooking the food for everyone else. Lots of food and not too bad priced. 3 of us for about 100 bucks and we ordered 3 appetizers.

Fun place while in town. Typical show while you wait. Food was fresh and delicious and staff was nice and never let your drink get empty before you got a refill.

Food is good, price is good, chefs show is as tacky as you can get, if you eat there use the side dining room you can get the same food without the show, also it is very noisy in the main grilling area as there is no dividers between the grills

Decent food here. The restaurant is really crowded and noisy. Not the greatest place to got for a quiet meal and good conversations. The chefs are decent but nothing really impressive. I ordered the hibachi steak. The steak was very fatty and a little over cooked. I love Japanese hibachi, but I probably will not be back any time soon.

Just had lunch here. Had steak, chicken and lobster. Price is competitive, entertainment is a plus food was a little on the salty side, but the sauce makes up for it. Coffee is good.

too much going on for me!

They completely changed the inside of this old Pizza Hut restaurant. Where once there were old beat up tables and booths there are now four well spaced tables that can each house two chefs standing back to back. I guess that technically makes it eight tables. We had the Shogun Special which consists of Filet Mignon, Chicken, and Shrimp. All dishes come with a Miso Soup, Salad, Fried Noodles, and Fried Rice. The Miso Soup is fairly bland compared to what I'm used to. It doesn't taste like much effort went into it. The salad is pretty decent, especially if you like that kind of dressing. The rice and noodles are both cooked with butter. I'm not used to that but they were pretty good, I mean it's butter right? The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked and tasted great in the mustard dipping sauce. There's also a ponzu like sauce there if you like that sort of thing. The chicken was good, not too much flavor except for maybe butter (I wasn't paying attention that time) on it's own but it is chicken and I'm happy when it's not dry. The shrimp was surprisingly good. The right amount of plumpness and strangely I still couldn't help myself from dipping them in the mustard but I'm a fiend for hot mustard like that. Overall I'd say it was a great experience. I got to introduce my mother to hibachi and she really enjoyed the entertainment aspect as well as the food. I would definitely go back. Especially when they get their liquor license. I mean who doesn't want hibachi with delicious Japanese beer, right? :)

I went here for the first time last night with a group of friends, there were 8 in our reservation. We had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation to be seated and even after that it took a while before our orders were taken, soup and salads came out and our chef actually showed up. However once all those steps had been completed, it was a great experience. I expected the prices to be a lot higher. They have a hibachi menu, and a combo menu. Both come with the standard soup, salad, fried rice, noodles, and vegetables. Main courses for hibachi ranged from $14 to $20 and included vegetable, chicken, salmon, snapper, calamari, steak etc... Combos were upwards of $20 and included combinations of the aforementioned. I ordered hibachi salmon, it came with 2 fillets, one of which I had to take home, there was so much food! Our chef was very funny and entertaining. I would definitely come back here, it seems like a really good place for special occasions ad when you're in a group setting.
