We had a perfect meal for four of us this evening. The service was perfect and so was the food. Salmon, Halibut, Chicken Marsala and Rib Eye steak were all done to perfection. Timing of the meal and recommendation by staff was great. We will definitely be back very soon!

Very nice atmosphere, warm, comfortable, open. The wait staff was very attentive and professional. Had the hot sandwich/salad combination. Soup of the day too. It was excellent. We needed another winter diversion and this fits the bill for us.

This place is bipolar, and my reviews therefore are swinging back and forth with it. Went to meet some friends the other night for dinner, and it took the server 25 minutes from the time I arrived to even come take my drink order (my friends had already gotten drinks). She said, "Oh, I didn't even see you sneak in!" To which I thought: "So what? What about leaving my friends hanging for 25 minutes?". I guess it's just some servers are good and some don't care. This one takes her sweet time. This doesn't deter me, however, because the food is still really good. *sigh*

On one of my very rare summer visits to Alaska, I came out here for lunch. She said her sister really loved it, so we decided to check it out. My parents had also been and had mentioned it, so I was curious to try it. I had the baked bisque and a wedge salad. Both were really tasty. The bisque was really decadent with a nice puff pastry shell on top. I was really impressed. The salad was really well done with huge hunks of blue cheese on top. The other half ordered potato soup and a steak sandwich. The soup was really tasty. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were pretty amazing. They also have a nice selection of beers available. I was really impressed. However reading reviews on here, I think we may have been lucky as the restaurant wasn't too busy.

We've been three times and I have to agree with a previous rater...this place is bipolar! We went originally and while the service was good, the food was decent but the place was cold because the heater didn't work. The 2nd time we went was on Mother's Day. We sat at the bar and both the service and food were great. Today, for Father's Day, we went and this will be the reason why I won't come back. Our reservation was at 11:30a, we got there at 11:25a and were seated. 15 minutes later someone came to take our order. 45 minutes later (yes at 12:30!!!), we STILL didn't have our food. My husband went in to ask what the story was and was told that the electronic ordering system had gone down and it would be another 10 minutes before we got our food. At that point, we left. Every time we come there it's like they don't have enough staff, no one knows what's going on and it's just lousy. It should NOT have taken us over an hour to get our food regardless of if the ordering system went down. Write it on a piece of paper and hand it to the cooks! At the very least, TELL us that the system went down but the lack of communication is pathetic. This place is owned by the same couple who own Lavelle's but it doesn't function the same way. It has fantastic potential but we'll never go back. And that's why this place deserves 0 stars but apparently Yelp won't let me do that. Proceed with caution - it is NOT worth even the 1 star I gave it.

This was our second time. The first time the food was decent, but it was really cold inside. Last Friday, decided to give it another try since we live nearby. Our appetizer arrived 30min later and main course 45min more, although people who came in after us got their food before us. When asked why it's been taking so long, our waitress replied, "there are other people before you guys." Our main course arrived, halfway through I noticed there was a piece of hair in my food. I told the waitress that the hair can't possibly be mine nor my husband's because of the length and color. She apologized forcefully and brought our check and threw it from far ran away as fast as she could. I really think I should not be paying for the half-eaten food with hair in it, especially in a fine dining restaurant . BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Man, this place continues to deliver exceptional food and service. It's become our favorite place in Fbks to eat. Yes, it is a little spendy, even by Fbks standards, but we've concluded that we always get what we pay for. Our go-to "special place" to eat.

After a reply from Double Eagle, and two exceptional return visits, we are happy to add stars. Great menu, wonderful food and attentive staff. Thank you!

Great atmosphere. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. Beer selection is pretty good. Had the BLT Salad tonight. Very good. Love the Calamari too. Suggest they look to creating a lunch special menu. Most items on the menu seem over priced compared to other restaurants around here.

This is one of our favorites in Fairbanks as the food is consistently good. We have enjoyed a variety of the items on the menu and the only item we wouldn't reorder is the lobster Mac n cheese- lots of Mac and cheese not much lobster. The service is generally adequate but can sometime be on the slow side. The bar has a nice selection of beers and wines, all winter we enjoyed hoodoo on tap but last night the server told us they'd never carried it. Bottom line above average!
